The casing of your oven needs to be grounded (earthed) for fault protection!! Should the casing become live through any kind of fault (incurred over time) could be fatal!! An earthed casing will pick up the live and trip out your mini circuit breaker. From your consumer unit, causing a safe disconnection!!
Very very innovative sir you are very creative I'm thinking about doing one myself cuz I definitely need one I'm going to start powder coating I have a couple of vehicles and I don't want to pay all this humongous fees for them to charge me to do it if I could do it myself keep up the great work thank you again sir and your son is hell of a cool too thumbs up 👍🏼
@@Bandito071 yep I get what your saying I'm going to build a oven and a couple of people said hot air at top of oven needs to be recirculated back into the bottom. But I don't think I'll brother
@@Robert-qd8rf make a good tight fit and weld it up! Not gonna hurt to lose a little heat cuz it needs to vent anyway! Most ovens have vents all over them!

Leaked trade secrets- heater is actually a child with ice cream on his face.
This is really helpful, thank you
Well done DIY!!!! greetings from germany 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice build!
Really good, thanks for posting this vid
Great job!
The cute boy reminded me of my son when he was younger. Children are one of the greatest signs and blessings of God.
Good job bro 👍
brilliant!
Use a pid controller and ssr. It's much more accurate and let's you autotune the heat.
Are u using the regular 3 prong plug or the regular outlet for
Like a tv or radio ?
Just what i'm looking for,but i'm no sparky,so how did you fit and wire up the elements to the back, are they insulated from the metal box?
You should run an earth tail on the metal box somewhere, for fault protection, so it trips out the mcb on the consumer(fuse box) unit!!
can you make me one pls...
ill pick it uo 👍
Good job do you get good finish did you ever put oven fan in it?
Fan would blow the powder off whatever you are trying to coat i would think

My homemade oven has an audible alarm if it goes to 420°F just a suggestion
i just used the parts i had for free
What kind of plug in are you using???????
Has the adhesive on the foil tape held up?
Yeah it’s been fine
what are the locks called you have to secure the door
Turn buckles
no insulation in the walls?
Yes
and this works well no issues? i suppose i just use fiberglass duct. thats i sulation and foil all there..
Please remember that any form of silicone in a powder coating oven is a no no . This will play havoc with the finishes
Creates fish eyes on your work.
Mr. liebenberg I am currently building n oven. So of not silicone should I just use the silver tape or do you have any advice on what to use?

The next time I want to build a powder coat oven I will do nothing like this lol
works perfect
