Resident Evil 3 (2020) Nemesis Chase with Dead by Daylight Music

- This is the opening chase with the Nemesis in the Resident Evil 3 (2020) Remake but I replaced the music with Dead by Daylight’s The Nemesis killer chase music from the Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil Chapter.

Nemesis definitely got sized down for DbD, he's at least 3 meters tall in the RE3 remake. The one in DbD is just a nerfed version really.
It's kinda annoying to me. They could've easily made him his height. Just do what they did for Mr. X in RE2. Whenever he gets close to a door that is already open which in DBD is always the case, they just make his model bend down to fit through without any loss of movement and not getting sucked into animations. Sure it might be annoying to have to place all those areas where you walk in and activates the animation but that's just the work you should put in to making something as big and iconic as Nemesis.
@@thedarktyrant They definitely missed out with that one. Mr. X would have been a far better candidate for DbD since he'd fit that reduced height far more, they also wouldn't have to nerf him into the ground like they did with Nemesis since the regular T-103 relies on a more basic fighting style.
Nemesis is extremely overpowered in canon and seeing him reduced to a joke in DbD is simply saddening.
@@EvilLordCanas They could've done both pretty well. Mr. X days s easier to do and I love both so I wouldn't care which one they did as long as they did it well, but for Nemesis they decided to make him not really act like Nemesis. His 2 most iconic abilities which should have been easy to implement into his power are just not there. His sprint and rocket launcher should've been his power. Now it may SOUND op and many have told me this before but really, you can do those 2 mechanics. You just need the right balancing. When do you even get the rocket launcher or how, does it have a cool down or other system, how long would it be and more. Same for the sprint. Make it act different than other sprints. And others have mentioned that he'd be too similar to other killers but that's just what you have to sacrifice. If you label a character as Nemesis he should play like Nemesis. The closest character to Nemesis is honestly Oni in my opinion. Like the way his Sprint works and that he is a big tall angry guy. He also just has an entire perk called Nemesis.

Absolutely agree, we should contact the devs n ask them about it, they listen to the community so who knows? You have your avg n tall killers, would be kool to see Nemesis labeled as Giant or something

The build I made for her in DBD is resident evil inspired, blast mine, flashbang, head on and iron will.
Went against a nemesis before with my build and it felt like the game.

You know one of the things I would love to see Nemesis is say STAAARS whenever he starts chase with Jill or Chris, just like when he does mori or grabbing them from lockers, I feel whenever you go against a Jill or Chris, starting chase with them well make him say STAARS
He already does. It’s just a really rare voice line. Only does it when downing and killing Jill and Chris, and since Chris is an optional skin that makes it even rarer

While I notice some people in this comment section are dissapointed by the BHVR's version of Nemesis, I personally don't think it's all that bad really! I've been a fan of Resident Evil forever, Resident Evil 3 is one of my favorite horror games ever. It's understandable why they didn't give him something like a fricking rocket launcher. Although I would prefer it I believe the tentacle is a fine replacement for him. The only problem I have with it is using his power dosen't really feel like the Nemesis until you hit tier 3. Though about his height they could've made him a little bit taller because of how he runs but other than that I think he's a great addition to DBD and was adapted in (for the most part) the best way they could.
I can see why people might like him and as long as it makes ya happy, great. I still have fun with him and main him. He's the most fun killer for me.
@@thedarktyrant Same for me as well. I don't really care how strong or weak Nemesis is its still Nemesis, and that's enough for me to main him. Although a certain killer that was revealed yesterday might take that place...

I prefer the real remakes music but that's one of the only things DBD got right with their chapter at least.

I think it's a total disrespect for the resident evil lisence to have taken the Nemesis and made it so weak it's ridiculous and pathetic, if it was me who would have made the powers of the Nemesis it would have was one of the deadliest killers there is and given the ability of the other killers his would have been number 1
They are too scared to make extremely strong killers.
