Heyo - If you're here after August First, 2024, a couple of these stats will be outdated! I'm going to leave this pin as a reminder for things that the video gets incorrect - as they're outdated (my timing is truly impeccable, I know) CURRENTLY UPDATED TO AUGUST 27th, 2024 PATCH 8.2.0 • Tiering up from Tier ONE to Tier TWO is going to now take FIVE contamination points instead of SIX this is pretty big, as previously, even if you used your tentacle for your entire first chase, you would still be one point off of Tier Two. I don't think this'll be too oppressive seeing as it's only on contamination, not just on whip hits (which would be nice from the point of view of the nemesis, but I'm sure getting constantly hindered wouldn't feel too great, but having this would also encourage more Nemesis players to use their whip more often, so... hmm...) • Marvin's Blood & Licker Tongue are changed as of patch 8.2.0 • Marvin's blood grants 16% more contamination points on a fresh contamination - giving 3.5 contamination points per fresh contamination, and Marvin's blood grants 50% more contamination points upon hitting a contaminated survivor - giving 1.5 contamination points per extra hit on survivors. -This change is huge - with the basekit change to 5 points from 6, Nemesis can now get tier 2 in a single chase, assuming he uses his whip three times. IF running Marvin's Blood (changed) he is able to get tier 2 from a single chase with TWO WHIPS. It is SERIOUSLY nuts. • Licker Tongue change has gone from an extra 0.2 seconds of hinder to -> 3.0 seconds of hinder it's like... actually kind of noticeable now. It's nice! No longer the most useless addon in the game! • The cooldown for a successful whip attack is now 2.25 seconds instead of the previous 2.5 seconds. a small change, but nonetheless, rewards you for using your power! Nice! • Tentacle Strike at Tier 3 is now 6.5 meters instead of 6.0 meters. this sounds like a small increase, but again, is a very big one! there are plenty of loops that you previously were unable to hit over just due to distance, and believe me, this is AMAZING to have on Nemesis. One of the funniest moments I ever had in DBD, was when I hooked someone in the basement as nemesis on the game. For whatever reason two players (both infected and injured) went for the rescue when my zombies wandered over to either side of basement entrance. I was able to down one of the survivors as they were going down the stairs and triggered borrowed time on the unhooked survivor. Satisfied with my down I went to pick up my new surv and while hooking them I receive two notifications of zombie attacks. When I looked up at their auras I saw that the zombies had corralled the two survs at the entrance of the basement before downing them.

This guide is gonna come crazy useful with the new buffs we got coming on Nemesis. The fact we got the PTB buffs AND NOW a t3 range buff + cooldown buff?! We're gonna make survivors see STAAAAAAARS
Just wanted to say i have been trying your build and it has been working pretty tbh and has actually helped me get better with Nemesis in the process. Awesome guide 😊
Incredibly good guide I want to suggest one of my fave builds, it being the parasite addon that causes oblivious, hex: face the Darkness, hex: retribution and hex: plaything. It keeps the survivors constantly too busy with totems to do much, the zombies help push them off the totems, they are constantly screaming due to being oblivious which interrupts cleansing/gens and attracts zombies and there's a lot of information about where everyone is. I use a similar build on Pinhead too Also regarding whip VS punch, I punch when Im chasing in an area with lots of corners and line of sight blockers just to get the hit and I can't waste the second to arm my whip before they run around the corner
The copious amount of tiny edits and memes in this video was entertaining enough to almost forget that this is a guide- very well done and I hope you make more of this style in the future!!
Enduring is very good on nemesis as it allows you to get rid of troublesome pallets quickly without taking a long stun. This is very helpful against loops where the survivor can round the corner vefore you are in position to drag the whip around the turn. Think of it like trying to curve with hillbilly. You are better off either going for the m1 or just brute forcing the pallet down.
Thank you for the tremendous work you've done. please sign the perks to whom they belong, because it is difficult for me to understand this as a beginner in this game
I didn't even think of that! I will 100% do that going forward, thank you for letting me know. In the meantime, there is a wiki for all you need to know about perks at deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Dead_by_Daylight_Wiki
played 2 nemi games. They went well (newer survivors), and he was pretty fun. Missed plenty of whips against more experienced players, but i’ll start using drags more. definitely hurts the most if first survivors get distance in tier1. Excited for his buffs! Wish more of his addons got tweaked…
You forgot DMS as a good perk for Nemesis. So for example if you hook someone and DMS activates there are sometimes.. well.. many times when a survivour has to pull a zombie away from the gen and then the gen locks down. Not that effective as other perks you mentioned, but it definitely works and can happen multiple times even in a single match.
I have been waiting very excited for this guide, thank you very much for taking the time to explain everything. I learned a lot of things that I should do and that I always forget. 1000 thanks 💜
28:30 now that we have Alucard's Shield for dracula which is just ink ribbon but way more threatening with the constant fire spewing from the ground, i think they need to rework ink ribbon so it spawns a full horde at the FIRST gate thats interacted with, could be funny
Unrelenting has value, when you hit a zombie with a basic attack, because it counts as a miss and you waste less time on recovering from it. So you got extra seconds of being undetectable
Id say plant 43 is decent if you pair it with the grey addon that slows down vaccine usage, lots of slowdown if the survivor opens the chest and uses the vaccine immediately
Yeah, I did mention that a little bit as otz had brought up the comparison to that combo being like Sloppy Butcher for contamination - I really dislike that perk as survivor, so I might have been biased in my placement 100%!
As a former Nemi main, I hated how exept zombie speed and FoV, you can run out of all of his addons usage during the match. They all affect mutation rate or syringe usage. You reach max mutation, and Mutation rate addons become useless, Survivors used all cases, and syringe addons become useless. It's honestly sad, how zombie speed is the only consistant effect on his addons
serotonin injector has infinite uses and it's my favorite addon, but i 100% hear you. I think of the addon slot as an investment to hit tier 3 faster, but often I hit tier 3 then that's it. Like, dang. Now I wish I had something else.
Ive mained nemesis ever since he came out and he is by far the most satisfying killer to do well as for be but man i really feel like he could use some decent buffs.
Yeah definitely man, but tbh I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t touch him in that department, but rather the skins department by giving us at least 1 more skin on him (the 1999 one) 💀
I have love-hate relationship with Nemesus. I enjoy him overall, but zombies getting stuck everywhere and 3 hitting survs drives me crazy sometimes. Nemy add-ons should be changed long time ago, but I think what he needs is small rework to tier up. Removing contamination speed boost at least from tier 2 and then making his tier 3 harder to hit, but you always hit and contaminate survs. Make zombies respawn after getting stuck and make them go to nearby contaminated survs. Blind interaction shall go away too cosidering that every other killer got it removed, but survs could spend vaccine to kill a zombie.
I worry about a rework just due to them making killers feel worse to play as for people that main them, I'm fine with them not touching basekit at ALL (MAYBE a zombie ai change so they're a little smarter, but other than that I'm cool) ABSOLUTELY agree on an addon change. I think removing the speed boost is a mistake that'll make him a tad too oppressive, but if they at least made the hinder noticeable (instead of a fifth of a second, make it like.. a third or half? I wish they'd take baby step increments instead of a massive boost that has to be rolled back the very next patch, like the background player change was SO annoying to me because they take a bad perk, giga boost it in TWO aspects and then it's OP as hell) The blind interaction didn't go away because it's not lightburn, so while I'm sad that it's still here, I get their thought process on why they didnt' remove it. Zombies constantly tracking survivors through walls seems a bit overtuned to me, honestly.
@@horcerordbd BHVR focusing on making killer fun to play against and not play as is a different problem. However I have to disagree that giving survivors no speed boost especially as a tier reward would make Nemy op. Nemy is quite rare killer nowadays and he definetly could take some buffs, without making him opressive. He would still have questionable map pressure and no mobility. There is 2 problems with buffing things a little tho. 1st BHVR is slow. It took them so many years to even touch alchemist ring. 2nd With buffs changing playerbase perception is important, sometimes even more important than change itself. I saw it a lot of times in different games. Sometimes after massive buff character/item etc. can end up at the same spot/weaker than before changes, but people still use it. Just because perception in playerbase changed.
@@Tomo00 I may have misphrased my response a little bit - I'm not 100% against a nemesis basekit buff, he definitely needs one as he's a C/low B tier killer at best, I just meant that I don't want him overbuffed just to get kneecapped right back to where he started. Giving him one patch as a field day where he becomes flavor of the month only to be put back down to where he is now would be cruel to me, honestly.
Also, if you have the add on that allows you to become undetectable by killing the zombies, you will gain the Undetectable status effect if the survivors kill a zombie
A little correction about xenomorph who you mentioned on 11th minute. His tail hitbox is not a "rock attached to a string", it's a spear that consists out of multiple straight line hitboxes similar to nemesis that are stacked in one place, appear for all the length forward immediately once the attack delay is over and which will follow similar pattern as his whip's descending hitbox if xeno uses A-D keys strafing technique for dragging it. The scheme you showed is wrong and was made during the PTB when people didnt quite understand how the power worked and they made a wrong assumption.
The only guide you need: 1. Name yourself Nemesis 2. Pick Nemesis 3. Use the perk Nemesis (Optional) 4. Tunnel every S.T.A.R.S. member you see 5. Write only Nemesis in the endgane chat 6. Win
I think he needs a buff/rework that buffs him lookin that we got xeno that does the same job better. I LOVE nemesis but I wish he was better. I think something as simple as removing supply cases would make him way better
Honestly, I don't think that xeno does the same job better, I see nemesis as more of a pallet destroying monster and that's his "identity" for me. I also don't think he needs a rework, just an addon pass that makes addons less abysmal. Right now we're at pyramid head levels of addons, but at least he has a couple of them that are okay. I'd really like to have, like, at least 80% of his addons viable for different builds instead of... like maybe 5 that you can run right now.
Sorry if I (somehow) missed anything about maps. But could you give me like, the top 3 maps for Nemesis or some good ones off the top of your head? Great guide by the way, I was just picking up Nemesis and he is by far my favorite killer.
I didn't make the map section yet because it would have bloated the video by HOURS - I'm going to be releasing "how to play ____ map" videos which will cover each one in depth. My favorites are The Game, RPD, and Midwich. I love RPD because of the theming & zombie strengths + pretty much every loop you can hit over. The Game is probably easily his best map because pallets don't mean anything to him, so survivors predropping all 20 god pallets just inevitably ends up screwing them over. Especially when they send themselves there, I'm genuinely giggling when I see the offering. Midwich is just really good because a zombie in a hallway will block the entire thing, they can block doorways, etc.
My zombies bodyblock me at doors so often haha, i'm lile "look at them trying to help me aaawwww" but then, they won't be in range to attack, and they won't let me run through unless i whip em 🤣
I kill them when they body block me at doors, I only get a little bit frustrated if they're doing it when I'm carrying a survivor and the doorway is the only way to a hook. Depending on how long they've been wiggling, you can just zomdrop or punch the zombie, which is a LITTLE satisfying 😅
i don’t think zombies can be killed by head on anymore. i might be wrong but i distinctly remember trying to do this in a custom game a month ago and it not working with others in the lobby telling me “oh yeah they changed it”. if this isn’t the case please tell me i’m not going insane and that for a short period the zombies were infact unable to be killed by head on 💀
my zombies were called Frederick and Jess, both my siblings names, but I had to switch Jess for certain reasons so now I have Frederick and Aimee (cause fuck you aimee)
If Surveillance effectively boosts a zombie's hearing because YOU hear the survivors' repairs better, does the newly buffed Stridor do this as well? Like, I feel like if it did then survivors trying to stealth around zombies would be much easier for them to detect since their breathing and grunts would be louder, but is this a thing?
I think that I answered this earlier, but so you don't have to go digging through hundreds of comments - stridor does NOT affect zombies, as zombies don't hear survivor breathing, grunts of pain, etc. They hear survivors working on generators, opening chests, doing totems.. just actions and stuff, so stridor wouldn't do anything for them.
Didn't even mention Nemesis's strongest perk: Nemesis. 0/10 guide do not recommend. In all seriousness though, I think Broken Recovery Coin is much better than you give it credit for. I used to use it all the time, but since I started to put much more time into playing him, I usually stack wristbands. I didn't know about Surveillance. I'm gonna have to try that out next time I scrim. The only downside I can see is if the range is extended by that much it will actually make Diversion useful.
You don't need to worry about Diversion w/ zombies if you're running surveillance, the hearing range of surveillance ONLY increases zombies hearing generators being worked on! so no worries!
IS it only me or do i find marvin's in the bloodweb a lot more rarely than other yellow addons? i have hundreds of every one of the uncommon ones, but only have dozens of marvins, and see it a lot less than the others. It's also not cause i used this much of it, i recently used like 3million bp to level nemesis up and got very few marvins.
100% negativity bias, you just got unlucky. I have relatively the same amount of every addon as I've spent hundreds of millions on his bloodwebs at this point - All my addons that I don't run are within 100-200 of each other.
Glad I came across your video, I made a rework for Nemesis, this is not really to make him, he's on the weaker side and this is not really to make him balanced, but rather on Nurse's level, the slowdown is there beacuse I think gen rushing is a problem in the game btw Zombies At the start of the trial 4 zombies will spawn, each one of them will always follow one survivor, they will always move towards their target For every generator repaired another zombie will spawn at the generator with most progres on, this zombie if flashed/dropped pallet on will be killed and won't respawn, this zombie will hunt down survivor around a 35 Metter radius around the generator Increase all zombie movement from 1 Metter per second to 3 Metter per second Vaccines Now take 20 seconds to apply If interrupted the progres is lost Tentacle attack Infected survivors repair and heal 15% slower Tier 2 Mutation It applies deep wounds when injuring infected healthy survivors Tier 3 Mutation Now it infects and hurts uninfected healthy survivors It insta downs infected healthy survivors

Dude this was randomly recommended to me, I can’t believe you have so few subscribers. This was the best dbd killer tutorial I’ve ever seen, I really hope your videos blow uo
Awesome guide 😊
welcome to the club :)
Incredibly good guide
I want to suggest one of my fave builds, it being the parasite addon that causes oblivious, hex: face the Darkness, hex: retribution and hex: plaything. It keeps the survivors constantly too busy with totems to do much, the zombies help push them off the totems, they are constantly screaming due to being oblivious which interrupts cleansing/gens and attracts zombies and there's a lot of information about where everyone is. I use a similar build on Pinhead too
Also regarding whip VS punch, I punch when Im chasing in an area with lots of corners and line of sight blockers just to get the hit and I can't waste the second to arm my whip before they run around the corner
Love the attention to detail at 34:46 where you have the add-ons changing in the bottom left as you list them off
:)
The copious amount of tiny edits and memes in this video was entertaining enough to almost forget that this is a guide- very well done and I hope you make more of this style in the future!!
I Highly enjoyed this video. I'm a new nemesis main and I found this to be extremely helpful 😭
As a nemesis main I love this video, super informative and reminded me/taught me some things! Very cool
The number of times I've been called cheater due to Whip Dragging. It's beautiful!
Same here dude
Enduring is very good on nemesis as it allows you to get rid of troublesome pallets quickly without taking a long stun. This is very helpful against loops where the survivor can round the corner vefore you are in position to drag the whip around the turn. Think of it like trying to curve with hillbilly. You are better off either going for the m1 or just brute forcing the pallet down.
Char & Karren being my picks for the Zombie names
You make me want to main nemesis again, he was the first killer I ever played but I was so bad with him it was huge turn off for me.
dude, sucking at something is the first step to getting kinda good at something. try him again!
@@horcerordbd you’re so right! I’ll give him another shot for sure
7:57 holy moly, as a nemesis main I never knew this!
now you do!
Thank you Mr.Horse I’ve been playing nemisis but this patch it just felt horrible and I’ve been struggling
I hope to alleviate some of your struggle w/ this 🙏
only 840 subs and this high quality level of vid? u should have so many more subs bro
I'll get there when I get there :) thank you for your kind words
played 2 nemi games. They went well (newer survivors), and he was pretty fun. Missed plenty of whips against more experienced players, but i’ll start using drags more. definitely hurts the most if first survivors get distance in tier1. Excited for his buffs! Wish more of his addons got tweaked…
I will send BHVR cupcakes if i get a full addon pass no meme
love the trixie ref
You forgot DMS as a good perk for Nemesis. So for example if you hook someone and DMS activates there are sometimes.. well.. many times when a survivour has to pull a zombie away from the gen and then the gen locks down. Not that effective as other perks you mentioned, but it definitely works and can happen multiple times even in a single match.
ah, yeah, you're right! completely slipped my mind.
the editing is so good and so funny! 10/10
I don't usually punch zombies tbf, but that's a good note to make :)
Loved this guide, thanks for all the details you incñuded!
Finally, after 3 years... a good Nemesis guide!
BRO only 6k?! This is otz level quality analysis.
6k is a lot to me 🥺I'm just happy so many people enjoyed it
@@horcerordbd I really enjoyed it. Got me playing more nemesis for sure. Keep up the goated content🎉
@@theboltcloud 😊thank you for your kind words!
Finally someone who mains nemesis.
This was well done. Thank you for putting it up. Good to have a guide that is up to date and this detailed.
I am never taking off surveillance that is just too cool
As a Nemesis player I can confirm this guide is very good!
WELL DONE HORCE! You put so much into this and it shows
Great video and all around very informative, also loved the bits with zombies in Pro's.
Great guide! I appreciate all the information (some of which I have been unable to find on my own).
Best Nemi guide, with no doubt.
Greatly put together guide with perfect jokes all around. Keep it up, the best Nemi NAW!
I wish they'd take baby step increments instead of a massive boost that has to be rolled back the very next patch, like the background player change was SO annoying to me because they take a bad perk, giga boost it in TWO aspects and then it's OP as hell)
The blind interaction didn't go away because it's not lightburn, so while I'm sad that it's still here, I get their thought process on why they didnt' remove it.
The legends were true it's finally out
FINALLY WE GOT A GOOD NEMESIS GUIDE
Great video!
thank you mister loopz!
Always remember to tunnel out any members of STARS, it’s lore accurate so it’s valid
I don't tunnel them out, but I do bring a mori if I see a STARS member + have a tracker for how many I've gotten :)

Thank you for bringing that up, I didn't know that!
You really need more subs. This video is amazing! Good humor and information 👍🏻
The nemesis
Interesting video to watch as i didn't know a lot of the perk synergies. I would also love to watch interesting map whip spots.
I'm planning on getting started with those after my subathon!
Man. I had no idea about the whip drag or the zomdrop coll
reasons i play nemi: stompy stomp, whipping pallets, and he kicks gens with one powerful kick
The only guide you need:
1. Name yourself Nemesis
2. Pick Nemesis
3. Use the perk Nemesis
(Optional) 4. Tunnel every S.T.A.R.S. member you see
5. Write only Nemesis in the endgane chat
6. Win
The Nemesis
Gotta love whoever asked if nemesis can swim
I playing 100 hours on Nemi and guys, I am very interested in this video. It's nice
God help me win.
@@horcerordbd I see, thank you for the help!
We're getting a Divorceror!
😞
My zombies bodyblock me at doors so often haha, i'm lile "look at them trying to help me aaawwww" but then, they won't be in range to attack, and they won't let me run through unless i whip em 🤣
I kill them when they body block me at doors, I only get a little bit frustrated if they're doing it when I'm carrying a survivor and the doorway is the only way to a hook. Depending on how long they've been wiggling, you can just zomdrop or punch the zombie, which is a LITTLE satisfying 😅
i don’t think zombies can be killed by head on anymore. i might be wrong but i distinctly remember trying to do this in a custom game a month ago and it not working with others in the lobby telling me “oh yeah they changed it”. if this isn’t the case please tell me i’m not going insane and that for a short period the zombies were infact unable to be killed by head on 💀
It's a bug if so, because the footage I got for that is less than a couple of weeks old, in my own custom
thank you for blessing us with this guide nemesis father, one day i will whip drag and make you proud
Nice work i hope you will make many nemesis video with diferent build :)
my zombies were called Frederick and Jess, both my siblings names, but I had to switch Jess for certain reasons so now I have Frederick and Aimee (cause fuck you aimee)
I named mine Gilbert and glimbus 🙂
@@horcerordbd Much appreciated for the speedy reply, and thanks for clarifying

Didn't even mention Nemesis's strongest perk: Nemesis.
0/10 guide do not recommend.
In all seriousness though, I think Broken Recovery Coin is much better than you give it credit for. I used to use it all the time, but since I started to put much more time into playing him, I usually stack wristbands. I didn't know about Surveillance. I'm gonna have to try that out next time I scrim. The only downside I can see is if the range is extended by that much it will actually make Diversion useful.
If it helps, I run the Nemesis (perk) charm on my Nemesis (Killer) hook :)
You don't need to worry about Diversion w/ zombies if you're running surveillance, the hearing range of surveillance ONLY increases zombies hearing generators being worked on! so no worries!
Why play Nemesis? Hmm, I don't know maybe because you are one of the most badass horror chracters there are in videogame industry?
🗣🗣🗣 SPEAK ON IT
Great editing
woah... nemesis guide out and slaying
Very based nemo guide honse man
36:28 my actual nemesis gameplay leaked
IS it only me or do i find marvin's in the bloodweb a lot more rarely than other yellow addons? i have hundreds of every one of the uncommon ones, but only have dozens of marvins, and see it a lot less than the others. It's also not cause i used this much of it, i recently used like 3million bp to level nemesis up and got very few marvins.
100% negativity bias, you just got unlucky. I have relatively the same amount of every addon as I've spent hundreds of millions on his bloodwebs at this point - All my addons that I don't run are within 100-200 of each other.
Glad I came across your video, I made a rework for Nemesis, this is not really to make him, he's on the weaker side and this is not really to make him balanced, but rather on Nurse's level, the slowdown is there beacuse I think gen rushing is a problem in the game btw
Zombies
At the start of the trial 4 zombies will spawn, each one of them will always follow one survivor, they will always move towards their target
For every generator repaired another zombie will spawn at the generator with most progres on, this zombie if flashed/dropped pallet on will be killed and won't respawn, this zombie will hunt down survivor around a 35 Metter radius around the generator
Increase all zombie movement from 1 Metter per second to 3 Metter per second
Vaccines
Now take 20 seconds to apply
If interrupted the progres is lost
Tentacle attack
Infected survivors repair and heal 15% slower
Tier 2 Mutation
It applies deep wounds when injuring infected healthy survivors
Tier 3 Mutation
Now it infects and hurts uninfected healthy survivors
It insta downs infected healthy survivors
That would be awesome
