Russia bombed a supermarket in eastern Ukraine today (August 9), killing at least 10 people and injuring 35 others. The bombing comes after a surprise attack from the Ukrainian army earlier this week, which appeared to be the most significant assault on Russian soil since Moscow invaded Kyiv in February 2022. In their boldest operation yet, the Ukrainian forces entered Kursk region on Tuesday with reportedly 1,000 troops, armed with Western armoured vehicles, artillery, and drones. They also released footage claiming that Russian forces are surrendering to the Ukrainian troops. After this incursion, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a state of emergency in Kursk and announced the deployment of additional troops and munitions to the region. She is beautiful, but I think her greatest assets aren't physical. She almost never takes a day off and does a very good job explaining things. I like that she gives us context and background information on every news story. Not every news anchor does that. Many in the West just report the news and provide zero context. For example they may mention Iran made this statement, Israel bombed this place and killed that person but no context. No explanation why they did that or what the possible response would be or what that could lead to. That's why most people don't learn anything from the news. It's just this person died and that nation attacked this nation and it's all just random and meaningless. I mean what's more informative, someone who reports the stock market is down today or someone who mentions why certain stocks went down and how that effected the overall market. Ukraine's another great example. In the West they report on Ukraine's border raid then say nothing about what happened on the Donbas front or how many reserves Russia has near the border versus in the south of the country. I like First Post because they provide background information on the stories they report on and that requires a new anchor with a good memory and a talent for explaining things. That's why I like her, she's a good journalist who also happens to be attractive and smart.

Been listening to her since she was on Gravitas but I’m waking up lately to being surprised by some of her indirect and direct rhetorics. The fact that she said Trump is using his good Christian image to control women is showing the lack of awareness in some point. While a woman should have the right to do an abortion if necessary Palki failed to understand that women are doing abortion to do more evil than good and this is not a direct attack on women at all but it has to do with the country and culture as well as the ideologies being pushed on women without some of them being fully educated and aware of it. So palki should pay more attention or do more in-depth research. Telling women it’s not okay to kill babies unnecessarily is not the same as marrying 9 year old girls. So it’s like Palki is saying there should be no boundaries. That was a misguided comparison that she tried to make.

When a country is in financial trouble, there are 2 option. 1st borrow money from financial institutions or go under financial bankruptcy. The financial institutions have of course their own interests to keep. One is the IMF or World Bank, which incidentally is out of sync with reality, why because it impost lots of suctions which are out of date like increasing taxes and stop gov't subsidies to the people, the people are already suffering from the crises already yet with those measurements impost would be a sure guarantee for collapse of the gov't 😅 that's the IMF or World Bank way of doing their textbook policy or another better option is borrow from China. Which never indulge in other countries internals affair, but charge a higher interest. Now the Western countries owned IMF or World Bank have brand or accused China policy as debt trap. Now if you are a country's leaders which would you take ? IMF or China ? IMF with their demand which will eventually leads to your downfall financially & being outer by the people revolution that leads to chaos or to borrow from China which doesn't mind how you gonna do with the money borrowed just that you pay their interest.
