      people like going to the beach to celebrate things believe it or not. This was due to not keeping your eyes on your kid. This could have happened weather it was a baptism ceremony or a family on vacation.

    • @camidonahue8882
      @camidonahue8882 22 дня назад +3

      @@SKymodsomemoreno, it’s sounds like the father wasn’t watching his children and allowing them to go too deep into the waves. It only takes seconds for a parent to turn their backs on children who are capable of drowning, even in pools. It’s the reason why pool lifeguards and beach lifeguards are trained and not ever allowed to turn their backs when “on duty.” The father and kid were also probably weak swimmers.
      Beach lifeguards do warn if the conditions are too rough to go out into the water. They also warn about rip currents.
      If you are alone, plan to take your family, or take a group of children, always go to beaches where a lifeguard is “on duty.” Best spot to swim is right in front of a lifeguard tower.

    • @SKymodsomemore
      @SKymodsomemore 22 дня назад +4

      @camidonahue8882 No to what? That's what I said, "someone wasn't watching their kids." The fact it was a baptism had nothing to do with it. It could have been a family vacation. If he wasn't watching his kid, bad things would happen regardless of what the event was.

    A friend of ours took his two daughters to the beach 2mo after their mother/wife died in a car accident.
    On the 3rd day they went out to swim in the afternoon after the sun wasn’t so hot. The oldest girl was 15 and the youngest was 9.
    The 9 yr old was in trouble…sister said she had drifted too far to the left and when she caught it, her daddy was already running and dove when he couldn’t run from the water depth.
    She saw them coming ashore and her little sister stumbling out onto the sand but she lost sight of her dad. She said they ran up and down the beach screaming and crying til someone went for help. They found him the next day. The beach folks said it was a rip current close to shore that was coming in with the tide. From what the girl told everyone, they weren’t even far out. These people weren’t either.

    People were never baptized in an ocean, ( in the Bible ), only in fresh water rivers. Also, not in raging waters! Slow, shallow fresh water rivers, like the Jordan. I’m upset for those who went through this harrowing experience and so sadden at the loss of this father’s life as he tried to save his son. Also, for his beloved son and their family and friends, as well as for the Pastor and his congregation. 🙏👑🙏

Maybe still the same blame game because we tend to like to look for people to blame but I find it rather cold to instead of just saying some kind of sorry for the loss, there’s too many comments with all this who should we be blaming….. the waves and the weather ok. Just blame the waves and the tide.

      @@User_U571 bc I know my FATHER. And I know HIS character.
      I KNOW HIM.
      And this question that you ask allows me to know that you don’t.
      As if HE allows HIS people to DROWN while getting baptized? When HE parted the Red Sea for Moses. You got to be kidding. Who are you to tell me about my own Father?? WHO rescued me from path of darkness and death? Literally. That’s absurd!
      No, sorry. This is NOT MY FATHERS character. At all. And if it’s your gods character? Then you and my GOD are not one in the same.
      And if HE does allow these things to happen at a time such as this? Then you can easily tests the spirits of men and know where they come from and it’s not of HIM. Baptism is not salvation. At all. It has become a fun little, feel good ritual/meaningless tradition of the modern day churches. It’s crazy that MY FATHER stirred up insane weather as this is going on when HE already knew this would happen and could have stopped it and did not. HE is the weather. HE is the storm. And HE delivers HIS beloved from the storm. Period.
      So Don’t come at me…take it up with HIM.
      And Maybe you aren’t aware…HE is the ONE and the ONLY ONE WHO allows death/life.
      Imagine GOD allowing this happen in the days of John the Baptist. Nope. It wouldn’t and it never did. This is the moment that GOD would calm HIS storms. He wouldn’t turn HIS back on an act of obedience in HIS command. That makes no sense as HE is a logical GOD.
      “See now that I, even I, am HE, And there is no god like ME: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of MY hand. For I lift up MY hand to heaven, And say, I live for ever.” Deuteronomy 32:39
