I just happened upon your channel and I'm glad I did. I love the song choices that you are teaching. Flick Of The Switch is one of my favorite albums and the songs from other albums are still off the beaten path. Everybody teaches the hits and that's good but I like the more obscure stuff. I will be watching your videos for many weeks to come and can't wait to see what you do next. Thanks so much!!!

Well played buddy, as always, knocked it out the park. Tone was spot on , and I'm still struggling to get that tone. Gretsch 5222, Marshall MG30DFX, gain on about 2 , bass on just under midway , treble at about 12 (as in clock face) Straight into the amp no pedal. Zero FX on the amp, although I have tried a small amount of reverb.

Maybe try turning the treble up a bit. And maybe the bass down a bit as well. At lower volumes too much bass sounds mushy

@@malpractice5904 I have the G5222 and agree. Treble pretty all the way up and bass no higher than 9 o'clock with mid slightly higher than bass will get much closer to Mal's sound.

@@simonemijno8075 I assume they are. This particular guitar The MY-Malcolm Young Gretsch already came like this. So I’m not sure how they are fixed to the guitar.

@@malpractice5904 Of course, however, to be sure I will glue them as I believe it was done like this
