- Came across this song recently via a sweet cover from Two Minutes To Late Night. Here is a quick acoustic version.
Side note: Stumbled across this just as I began to take a more in-depth look at Objectivism. Though I don't believe in everything Ayn Rand was looking for in her philosophy, it sure is interesting. And I'd say some of it is almost essential for anyone who creates art.
Y'all have been way too kind with all of these nice comments! I'm glad y'all enjoyed this quick cover 🤙🤙
Whoa!! Was not expecting this awesome Rush song on an acoustic guitar. Incredible rendition. Love it!!
Beautiful you blended rush and yourself in There perfectly. I don't usually like rush covers but you've impressed me! It's hard for people to sing geddy without trying to be geddy.
Very nice and refreshing! Congratulations
Great song! An interview with Rush led me to read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand (which they read and inspired this song). I agree with you - not everything Ayn Rand wrote about is to be believed. But it is interesting to learn about. Great cover, man! Keep up the good work.
I’m a big Rush fan. What a great interpretation of this great song! I look forward for more brutha!
WOW! That was clever. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for posting!
Considering I’ve probably listened to every Rush track hundreds of times, it’s wonderful to hear new renditions and fresh takes on them. Thank you for your rendition! It’s jazzy and yet still manages to retain the metal edge that pays tribute to the original. Thank you. I’ll be looking forward to more of these!
This is fantastic. Thank you for posting.
Excellent!!! Great voice, man. Love your take on this classic.
that was/is great man, a coffee house or busk of Rush is rare, i liked the way you kept some things added other your own textures. the part that stood out for me was the " they wroughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht" while keeping time and hitting those chords, keeps the song intact but also your flavour on top of it, you were woking hard in that moment, anyway..... good job dude,
@@seanoconnor2531 thanks a lot! If you're in to Queensryche, I tried to my own spin on a cover of The Mission. Maybe you'd dig it
I love this man, this is one of the best acoustic Rush covers I’ve seen! ❤
Thanks man I really appreciate you saying that 🙏🙏🙏
This should have hundreds of thousands of more views. Nice touch with the harmonics.
Thanks for the kind words!!
Love it…..fantastic!
BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
I am adding your rendition to my RUSH acoustic playlist. I pray that you will create more.
Man, that's so awesome to hear! Thanks 👍👍 especially since I felt this cover was sorta weak 🤣
Wow, absolutely fantastic job with this!
This is really beautiful! I'm a huge Rush fan, and while I've seen many people attempt to cover their music, I'll admit that I'm usually pretty critical because of the high regard I hold for the originals. You provided a fresh perspective and extremely talented rendition of an already amazing song. Excellent job on both the vocals and the playing. Thank you so much for sharing this piece! I hope more people get to see this and you! Your infectious smile and thumbs up at the end says it all.....right back at you, Corey! 😀👍
Thanks so much! I really do appreciate it. Rush is one of my favorite bands too!
Well done sir! This is a new & fresh version of an old song and as a lifelong RUSH fan I love it!
Excellent. Not what I expected, but damn good!

Been trying to do an acoustic version of this song. Looked on here for inspiration. Going to give up now . Will never be able to do it like you did. Loved it
Get in there and try your hand, homie! Have fun with it
Holy Shit! Fantastic cover. Make it your own. Rock on brother!!!
One of the best acoustic Rush covers I've seen! Going to have to learn your arrangement.
Thanks! I really appreciate that! It's hard not to be super duper critical of your own playing and notice all the ways it could've been cleaner, better, etc.
Bad Ass!!!
Outstanding man! ✌️😎
A really interesting interpretation of the song and a great example of taking someone else's music and creating something all your own.
Wow man, that was awesome. VERY COOL !!!

This is Brilliant! Has a Terry Callier feel to it! Regardless, you made it your own!
