Criminally underviewed imo , doing great work here for us 👍
That's so kind of you to say. I hope 2025 may change that. May I ask how you came across the channel?
@@DevilAndSons It was either from Steve Cassidy or Milehouse 👍
@Dad-Gad nice. I have commented on Steve's vids a few times, and joined a livestream, but not had a lot of interaction with him. He seems like a great bloke. Paul has been on the podcast a couple of times - also a cool guy!
@@DevilAndSons Paul is without doubt the most naturally funny person on RUclips , has me crying laughing every week . Steve is great as well , you all do great things for the guitar community imo 👍
@Dad-Gad thank you for the support People like you make it worthwhile.
I'm still blown away that the low strength settings was still holding up after a month. Over time, I had made changes to increase the strength. I never even considered that it could potentially hold so well at those lower settings. So I really look forward to seeing what happens with that body!
I do know that using those settings with some of the other designs available will not last a week!
I will have it all set up again next week then intend to play it regularly so we'll see.
I much prefer this approach of using the print directly rather than painting it. Personally I think 1 of the interesting aspects of 3d printing for guitars is the wide range of filaments you can use. With multi-material / multi-colour printing there are some effects you can create that would be difficult to do with any other process.
Some of the patterns Ray uses on his guitars are so clever. I agree about leaving the finish... however I have just set one up to paint that I hope will take advantage of the finish on the process.
@@DevilAndSons that is of course a totally valid approach. I was just thinking about the 3d printed guitar I finished last weekend. Literally no finishing processes needed for the body. Kind of crazy as usually you might spend weeks applying finish.
@dnizy it is amazing. Print and play!
Wow this is epic mate
Thanks. 3D guitars arr pretty fun.
@DevilAndSons It looks like Lego for guitar nerds.
Ha. I think you've hit the nail on the head. The nerdcaster!
