Yeah my buddy has a little older pc setup runs tarkov and other games but can’t run this (crashes on startup) or star field at a playable FPS. Hopefully optimize it a little more so it’s able to be played and I can not be a solo

As someone who has played games made by madfinger games, I can definitely say they do put love and care in their games, even the F2P ones are pretty good, so far they have good track record
14:00 i do hope they make it so you have to manually action your bolt on bolt guns, or at least give that option. pid on kills from that far seem really important with how the ai is.
Remember kings. If it’s dripping blood keep the gun up and stay in the fight. If it’s squirting blood find cover and go high and tight with the TQ and then get back in the fight.
No mission timer feels good and lets me go at my own pace. Day 1 release has been a mission success in my book. Had a blast today and I’m sure a whole hell a lot of other people did too despite all the negative comments, review bombing etc. to say otherwise. The map environment is prolly of my favorites❤️
That ak muzzle flash and smoke is absolutely on point. Outdoors especially in moist and/or cold environments it really obscures your view after a few shots.
Excellent. I enjoy the thoughts here. It’s good that people can be critical and supportive at the same time. The game does have its flaws right now, but it’s still early in the development.
pvp in this game is so brutal and terrifying when you get to the later tasks, fighting a thinking real person in a jungle with the fear of losing your gear is gnarly
I have almost 25 hours in it so far and all though it’s been rough with a lot of the initial release pains of early access, I’m still itching to get back to it. Either when I’m solo or with my group. I can’t wait for this game to progress and really grow into the tactical shooter we want it to be.
One thing I would also suggest is that when people load on the helicopter being this one a very important part of the game, please add a lock on with the safety lanyard and lock so that the players do something that can define immersion but also different outcomes: like getting faster when they get on ground ... it's not realistic to be on a helicopter without safety lanyard... and even if it's a game and it's "light" it's actually better to introduce this.. if one wants to lock her\himself.. Added some comments on your discord. This is the type of gameplay I look to watch and is also good to analyze the gameplay design and improve it before it's too late. I really like the stun effect when hitting someone, wanted design or unwanted it must stay, it's such a refreshing thing!! Love the woodland tiger.. OMG! And another thing I hope to see is having the gun held down and not up or high ready all the time besides the good muzzle up when running. I really hope they can put a Hunt Showdown (hunter profile controls) system so that if you want to put your weapon in high ready or aim you have 3 levels: No gun in sight, then hold shift or whatever button and then hold right button to have it nearing the zero on target, then press the LEFT to start shooting, the gun will go on center when you do this.... Like this: 1 No gun in sight, 2 then hold shift to raise your weapon in low ready or whatever button and 3 then hold right button to have it nearing the zero on target or zero on target actually, 4then press the LEFT to start shooting, the gun will go on center when you do this.... This would make the game perfect, and add something that EFT doesn't have because it is after all an arcade and also Hunt showdown made better than EFT. But besides the names and titles, this would be the perfect thing for a tactical shooter like this one. 1 no consumptiuon 2 Of course holding in low read consumes stamina VERY VERY slowly, 3high ready consumes a bit the stamina and zero on target consumes it a bit faster. 4Shooting consumes it also and a bit faster. 5 Running with rifle up consumes it too in another way (because u running). -Another cool thing is the Camouflage sleeves that are moving with the helicopter.. That's amazing. -how cool at 17:59 you have a chopeer flying from left to right. WOW just wow... and I love the voip stuff. I really hope they can put also Radio FX effect like the plugin for Team speak so that we don't have to use external audio we have in game radios and that's it...!! I am gonna wait what they do and to know more about what Bandwith the game requires in ordfer to play as I am not on FTTC nor FTTH.. .
Definitely something I'm looking forward to trying out at some point. Probably not for a while, though, since all I've got right now is a 2070 to run it on. Hopefully, I'll have upgraded by the time the game gets close to release
I'd like to see the pelvic triangle be more vulnerable. As I'm sure you're very aware, most combat folks have transitioned from the old mantra of "2 to the chest, 1 to the head" and have started targeting the pelvis because it's rarely protected and at minimum, puts the target on the ground or out of the fight for you to finish off. So far, I don't think many games pay much attention to this value and I'm really hoping the devs tap into it. Maybe with your influence with them, you could recommend?
Yeah the game lacks loot variety atm but that'll obviously change with time. Im just happy the game itself isn't completely shit this early on. I find it really enjoyable
Loot seems to be tied directly to whatever building/ area you're in because even in the starter town if you go to the big important looking buildings you'll find weapon and armor crates that Ive seen have some good quality loot.
I mean it seems unrealistic for how spongy they are but if you see say body cam footage of police or something like that it takes like 10 or so shots to take them down sometimes I do understand that they are using 9mm but 556 penetrates more causing a smaller wound cavity feel free to correct me I am not a expert on this stuff but I know a small bit.
5.56 is much more lethal than 9mm. The temporary stretch cavity you can see in slow motion ballistics gel footage happens in the human body as well, only the stretch that occurs as a result of rifle rounds actually defeats the elasticity threshold of human tissue as well as it does to gel. Basically, 5.56 bullets destroy flesh, while 9mm only pokes 9mm sized holes (slightly bigger with properly expanded hollow points or high velocity fluted bullets).

it looks dope. I'll wait for optimization and maybe native controller support. I may also play with the unreal VR mods to see how it plays in VR. Definitely going to pick it up at some point though.
my experience: took 3 tries to boot up, spawned into the first game on the PVE only mode, spend 20min messing with settings to finally get it down to a playable framerate while not looking terrible (still ended up sub 40fps) killed a few guys, decided to join the pvpve mode, immediately got teamkilled because someone wanted my starter M4, spawned back in, killed AGAIN by my own teammates for my starter gear; refunded the game, absolute garbage
Does anyone know what setting controls how the chain link fences look? I’m on Low everything except textures, they’re medium. I’ve tried changing most settings up a couple clicks one at a time to see what clears them up. The only thing I’ve found that makes it a little better is changing my post processing to Native (or something like that) rather than quality… but then other stuff doesn’t look as good I’ve died multiple times to not being able to see thru a chain link fence, unless I could completely still. I have a Ryzen 5700x and Radeon 5700XT fwiw.
I do think they need to work on some things like AI bullet sponges, the team killing and the performance issues people are having, but that was evident from the cc early access, so idk why people are mad when it isn’t fixed one week later. I didn’t buy it yet because I knew the game needed some more time and I don’t have the time to play much anyway atm
The games fun as shit all things considered. My only gripe besides audio and performance, is in certain areas the ai spawn back in way too fuckin fast. It feels like wave defense in those areas. Like market place in starter towns. Loving the game tho

Only issues with spongy ai that didnt make sense to me was using 9mm I could put multiple rounds in the rargets face and they wouldnt go down and once with 12g slugs I put a couple in the targets chest and he managed to spint away and still was being aggressive
My experience will be alittle better if I could access my stash and gear and quest reward items and have a head but even despite all that I can’t access yet it’s still fun. I ordered more ram for my pc but after I get new ram and game gets updated for performance and fix the no head and no stash I probably won’t play anything else for awhile
Looting feels empty. Buildings have nothing in them. They need more loot. Also they need to condense some of the healing supplies it’s a bit convoluted and bulky. Movement needs a serious lift, it’s like ghost recon but a bit too clunky. VOIP is great. Map looks colorful and vibrant. Gunplay and customization has good foundation. I’m excited where they take this. Hopefully monetization doesn’t become scummy..
The loot part is weird. Game just launched. We're all in the starter towns and picking them dry. I'll be curious to see if there is more/better/diverse loot as we start to spread out across the map. Yesterday felt like a WoW expansion and we were all waiting for the same quest item to respawn in the same zone.
I have a better-than-middle computer and get right around 60 frames. The only issue that's making it hard to play is random crashes that often also take all of my loot with them. The game is obsessively fun though.
I’m not gonna lie i come from tarkov and the cycle and just started playing games like squad and hll and idk why but this is the only game i can play and have fun without pvp
For how much they obviously rushed to get this out with the current Tarkov drama... I was obviously expecting it to be even worse than it is. I played ~6 hours, of which ~4 was actual gameplay, the rest was dealing with server/squad issues. The only real 'major' issues I have are the client performance, the matchmaking/queuing system, and the general server performance. There are a handful of 'minor' issues, like quests that seem to be poorly explained or certain controls (namely VOIP ptt) being non-rebindable with... questionable default keybinds. Way more functional and playable than I was expecting, excited to see what's to come for this game.
I don't see why people keep getting all mad over it not being optimized and "unplayable, I'm running it fine with an I7-9700 and RTX 3060, and I'm having a lot of fun on it, and that's what matters.
Stutters should just be shaders, try leaving the game open for a bit while you do something else. Haven't had stutters since first session. I'm on a 2080 with smooth 50-60 frames on dlss, 120 fsr but it crashes on fsr lol
Hopefully they make some game design tweaks to deter it. To be fair, he did eventually respond to me, sort of apologize, and offer to give my stuff back.

Was really excited for this one, but the fact that you have 100€ editions in a early acces title is just scammy and p2w. I'm always happy to pay more to support developers if I get something usefull in return and not just to have artificial annoyances removed.
The only thing you get for the other editions are just a (marginally) bigger storage space and a couple different guns that aren't immediately over powered. I agree it seems sketchy at first, but even with me having the basic edition, it doesn't seem like I'm at a disadvantage.

I later learned that you can hit M to pull up a map onscreen and that allows you to see faction members nearby. You can then call out your faction name or that you're friendly and that should circumvent a gun fight.
So, we got the game with my friend, hoping we can escape toxicity of other players and just go PVE. But no...first minute in the game, people screaming in open comms. Whatever, let's go raid a city. Riiiight, it's already cleared out by jumping jacks left and right. Well, let's explore, nothing to explore, enemy is in the cities only. Give it another minute, game crashes,freezes, rubberband. Running a 32c threadripper, 4080 super oc, 128gb ram. I know it just got released as an early. But it seems like the devs are going the wrong way with everything. Just jumping on the Tarkov drama to release the game. I truly wish I could get a refund, but since at the beginning the anti cheat bug was happening, all the loading time has pushed me past 1 hour game time.
On Steam you can refund a game before the two hour mark, but sometimes you're still able to refund a game past that. I agree the server lag is a bit annoying right now, but I'm sure they'll fix it shortly. If you're willing to not get the refund since you're going to get the game later anyways, I'd recommend playing PvEvP. Though there's PvP, the bases are so far spread out that you don't run into any other factions until later, so you shouldn't run into any toxicity. That's true for my experience of that mode so far.
Not a great experience mainly really bad frame drops every 10 seconds but the game looks amazing and the gun play is very nice i think it will be an amazing game once its optimized more and the lag and frame drops arnt as frequent
Paying for advantage is what pay to win means. Feel like the definition has been worn down lately. Back in 2017, EA got buried for stat boosts being available in battlefront. Feel like the gaming community slippery slope machine is always on full blast
Not convinced yet. AI is lame, missions boring. Feels like they released too early because of EFT. Its way too soon needed another year of development. Oh and no Refunds lol..
Buttery smooth? Yeah I got 120 fps too, how about you talk about the insane crashing issues and instability not performance, that's not even the actual issue. I swear youtubers always cover shit up and never talk truth. I'm 10 hours in and it seems I've played less yet know more of the current situation, which doesnt add up. Don't get me wrong I love the game, the concept, and how it plays, but I'm not going to bullshit anyone when I say it's an instable crashy mess with rubberbanding and teleport walking AI. Audio still destroys itself halfway through some matches the the point it cuts out everything but gunshots like the background noise of birds etc. Or just breaks down into distortion and crackling/popping. Peoples inventories are being deleted randomly, some people are not being given their launch gear they paid for due to a bug. Other people have a glitch where they body goes invisible and they lose access to their stash and loot entirely.
I've not experienced any of that. I've had one crash and I'm near certain it was a server instability issue and haven't experienced a crash again since the hot fix. I've had no de-synch, rubber banding, or audio issues. I'm not saying you're lying (just as you shouldn't accuse others of the same without evidence). Just saying I haven't experienced it.
I gather the Dev,s dont want the game to sell a lot .. top rigs only … I don't know why Dev,s dont test on mid range rig and test there game... oo that's right Dev,s dont test there games at all go to the top streamers and let them and there on top rigs to. Dev are on $5000 rigs they just say " we dont have any problems we dont see what the problem is" I want this game a lot won't be getting it my i7 16g 1060 ti 6g lap top will not run it... this thinking of Dev,s is so dumb … lost a sail been wanting this game forever.

Besides the performance and random team killing for loot, had a blast clearing a village with 5-6 random guys and exfil

It's because most people can't run the game with more than 60fps. let alone 30fps with a 3070ti at 2k res

A huge problem I’ve seen is there’s a lot of thieves. They’ll grub and kinda just not help you

4:59 the bullet makes a cavity when going in if that cavity doesn’t hit an organ hit box it won’t kill you it will make you bleed quicker.

My computer exceeded the 'recommended' requirements and the framerate was all over the place. It feels like PUBG but worse?

The games fun as shit all things considered. My only gripe besides audio and performance, is in certain areas the ai spawn back in way too fuckin fast. It feels like wave defense in those areas. Like market place in starter towns. Loving the game tho

Definitely after everything I've seen gonna let them cook. Definitely needs a bit more content and some things figured out before i would consider spending money on it.
Only issues with spongy ai that didnt make sense to me was using 9mm I could put multiple rounds in the rargets face and they wouldnt go down and once with 12g slugs I put a couple in the targets chest and he managed to spint away and still was being aggressive
My experience will be alittle better if I could access my stash and gear and quest reward items and have a head but even despite all that I can’t access yet it’s still fun. I ordered more ram for my pc but after I get new ram and game gets updated for performance and fix the no head and no stash I probably won’t play anything else for awhile
Looting feels empty. Buildings have nothing in them. They need more loot. Also they need to condense some of the healing supplies it’s a bit convoluted and bulky. Movement needs a serious lift, it’s like ghost recon but a bit too clunky. VOIP is great. Map looks colorful and vibrant. Gunplay and customization has good foundation. I’m excited where they take this. Hopefully monetization doesn’t become scummy..
The loot part is weird. Game just launched. We're all in the starter towns and picking them dry. I'll be curious to see if there is more/better/diverse loot as we start to spread out across the map.
Yesterday felt like a WoW expansion and we were all waiting for the same quest item to respawn in the same zone.
@ControlledPairsGaming I've gone a pretty good ways into the map, and there really isn't much.
I have a better-than-middle computer and get right around 60 frames. The only issue that's making it hard to play is random crashes that often also take all of my loot with them.
The game is obsessively fun though.
I’m not gonna lie i come from tarkov and the cycle and just started playing games like squad and hll and idk why but this is the only game i can play and have fun without pvp
For how much they obviously rushed to get this out with the current Tarkov drama... I was obviously expecting it to be even worse than it is.
I played ~6 hours, of which ~4 was actual gameplay, the rest was dealing with server/squad issues. The only real 'major' issues I have are the client performance, the matchmaking/queuing system, and the general server performance. There are a handful of 'minor' issues, like quests that seem to be poorly explained or certain controls (namely VOIP ptt) being non-rebindable with... questionable default keybinds.
Way more functional and playable than I was expecting, excited to see what's to come for this game.
I don't see why people keep getting all mad over it not being optimized and "unplayable, I'm running it fine with an I7-9700 and RTX 3060, and I'm having a lot of fun on it, and that's what matters.

I have a really high end pc and I couldn’t. Play it the stutters were so bad hope they fixed it
Stutters should just be shaders, try leaving the game open for a bit while you do something else. Haven't had stutters since first session. I'm on a 2080 with smooth 50-60 frames on dlss, 120 fsr but it crashes on fsr lol

Mr Sin is the epitome of the community that I think will sprout up in this game. Lone wolves just killing everyone, friend or foe for the loot.
Hopefully they make some game design tweaks to deter it. To be fair, he did eventually respond to me, sort of apologize, and offer to give my stuff back.

Was really excited for this one, but the fact that you have 100€ editions in a early acces title is just scammy and p2w. I'm always happy to pay more to support developers if I get something usefull in return and not just to have artificial annoyances removed.
The only thing you get for the other editions are just a (marginally) bigger storage space and a couple different guns that aren't immediately over powered. I agree it seems sketchy at first, but even with me having the basic edition, it doesn't seem like I'm at a disadvantage.

@@G3R3SkYwAlK3R I lit a faction mate up when I first saw another player because the lack of distinction. I later learned that you can hit M to pull up a map onscreen and that allows you to see faction members nearby. You can then call out your faction name or that you're friendly and that should circumvent a gun fight.
@hasnoluck4181 for me its supid the need for pulling up a map to distinguish factions from each other.

I know it just got released as an early. But it seems like the devs are going the wrong way with everything. Just jumping on the Tarkov drama to release the game.
I truly wish I could get a refund, but since at the beginning the anti cheat bug was happening, all the loading time has pushed me past 1 hour game time.
On Steam you can refund a game before the two hour mark, but sometimes you're still able to refund a game past that. I agree the server lag is a bit annoying right now, but I'm sure they'll fix it shortly. If you're willing to not get the refund since you're going to get the game later anyways, I'd recommend playing PvEvP. Though there's PvP, the bases are so far spread out that you don't run into any other factions until later, so you shouldn't run into any toxicity. That's true for my experience of that mode so far.

Not a great experience mainly really bad frame drops every 10 seconds but the game looks amazing and the gun play is very nice i think it will be an amazing game once its optimized more and the lag and frame drops arnt as frequent

Not convinced yet. AI is lame, missions boring. Feels like they released too early because of EFT. Its way too soon needed another year of development. Oh and no Refunds lol..

Buttery smooth? Yeah I got 120 fps too, how about you talk about the insane crashing issues and instability not performance, that's not even the actual issue. I swear youtubers always cover shit up and never talk truth. I'm 10 hours in and it seems I've played less yet know more of the current situation, which doesnt add up. Don't get me wrong I love the game, the concept, and how it plays, but I'm not going to bullshit anyone when I say it's an instable crashy mess with rubberbanding and teleport walking AI. Audio still destroys itself halfway through some matches the the point it cuts out everything but gunshots like the background noise of birds etc. Or just breaks down into distortion and crackling/popping. Peoples inventories are being deleted randomly, some people are not being given their launch gear they paid for due to a bug. Other people have a glitch where they body goes invisible and they lose access to their stash and loot entirely.
I've not experienced any of that. I've had one crash and I'm near certain it was a server instability issue and haven't experienced a crash again since the hot fix. I've had no de-synch, rubber banding, or audio issues.

I gather the Dev,s dont want the game to sell a lot .. top rigs only … I don't know why Dev,s dont test on mid range rig and test there game... oo that's right Dev,s dont test there games at all go to the top streamers and let them and there on top rigs to. Dev are on $5000 rigs they just say " we dont have any problems we dont see what the problem is" I want this game a lot won't be getting it my i7 16g 1060 ti 6g lap top will not run it... this thinking of Dev,s is so dumb … lost a sail been wanting this game forever.
