Capacity and space. Free of feelings and opinion . I continue to practice "seeing" and everytime it is refreshing and surprisingly new. Thank you both for this interesting talk
Thank you for this interview. The "Headless Way" is a very interesting way of illustrating a universal and incontrovertible truth; that by pointing atention to the contents of the mind a spacious silence is discovered. The first instance of this fact that I have found is in 1 Samuel 3:7-11 of the Bible, when in order to hear the Lord, Samuel says, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” try it and you will see what happens. The other instance is in the "Secret of the Golden Flower", "This kind of listening means listening to the sound of silence. This kind of looking means looking at the invisible." Hubert Benoit, the French psychoanalyst, discovered the effect of telling the mind, "Speak, I am listening". Douglas Harding found a very ingenious way of producing the same effect. How great that Richard Lang is making it available to the public. Each one will have to decide if they would rather cultivate the stillness or continue bobbing in the mind waves.
