Regarding the potential effects of VAR decisions on the final day, it's worth pointing out that West Ham had a second goal correctly ruled out by VAR yesterday as... well, it was basically volleyball. 😄
The referee initially gave it too, so it would have stood if not for decent officiating. If that's not a great example of the positive effects of VAR, I don't know what is.

Winning 12 league in 16 years with average total points of 90+ is crazy. Pep has underachieved in Europe considering his high standards(although statistically 2nd best after Ancelotti) but what he has done in domestic league year after year over 38 games marathons will be untouched for long time. He is officially now 3rd most successful manager of all time after Coyle(51) & ferguson(49) with 38 trophies & will most likely surpass them 🐐

Seem to be hearing a lot about Arsenal should sign certain players from other Prem teams in the Summer to close the gap on City and I think that is actually counter-productive
The best way to displace City isn’t by getting more points than this season, it’s by other teams in the league being competitive enough to be able to start chipping points off City, weakening teams in the league by stealing their key players doesn’t help with that

The 115 charges absolutely do takeaway from this achievement. You can be a great coach / manager AND have a huge advantage due to financial foulplay at the same time. Sorry, but I would imagine both I and many other football fans don't see anything other than Man City buying another title today. You can't punish everton and Forest with points deductions and seemingly do nothing to Man City for far worse financial breaches and expect the fans to just take this.

Not a City fan but I don’t think it takes away much from what the team were able to accomplish together. It does smudge their legacy tho but I also don’t think anyone really cares either 😂 except for a handful of fans but the majority nah, let’s be real lol.
All these big teams are gonna get their due process coz apparently they all breached at some point but in the end nobody really cares. The status quo will remain as always 😅

What a window licking comment. It's simply not true that every big team cooks the books like City

It 100% takes away from it. If they didn't cheat they wouldn't have their success, it's that simple.

If it is proved that Man City procured players by illegal means, then surely all these title winning seasons will be soiled? The Premier League's own Lance Armstrong..!

Props to Arsenal for making it a race until the last game. It's an absolute shame for City to not have won a month ago. Infinite money + total immunity, and yet they still need the full 38 games to win.

115 charges and turned EPL into a one horse race outside of that one freak Covid year. Congrats to the Arabs 👏
I know 0 City fans. The normal clubs are punished pretty quickly, but when its a state, nothing was ever done? Kind of a shame.

Financial and Physical Doping does tend to lead to success. This team are clearly on that Pep juice. He was caught for doping when he played with Brescia.. once a cheat, always a cheat.
