look at 3:05 Jason's Billie" and Mike's hands are perfectly in sink with each other and i already know they gotta be for the song but its still funny to me lol
It's because Billie was looking at the Unicorn gliding across the bottom of the Screen. So Trè looked back like "Why's Billie looking behind me, what's on the Screen?"
When was this recorded? Green day, asca band has been close to me, made my childhood. Man its heart wrenching to see them grow a bit older. Internet advent happened, making videos and songs more readily available. Green day, linkin park, had songs like anthems. The sheer hardwork, lending pendrives to friends who had internet at their home, sharing songs on nokia and samsung phones, and the hardwork to gather these live videos. Today everything is readily available, hance making me think i can rewatch it any time, but honestly i rarely do. It was more fun and enjoyable to watch those recordings. My school teachers would learn chords from us and jam with us, little did i know back then that people grow old. A void was created when Chester left us. Like i mentioned anthems, papercut, in the end, boulevard of broken dreams, basket case, longview could be sung by my classmates and me without any fumbling even today. They have inspired us, and will be. I am obliged as well as apologetic, that i got to listen two these two bands, and couldnt make much amends listening to them
I’ve noticed they’ve been playing the chorus way slower than the verses since all the way back at bullet in a bible. I dunno why but i kinda like it that way, it’s weird but in a good way y’know?
What a unreal band back in the DAY!!! then what now I hate to say it but the only good stuff is from years ago when I was growing up, I hope look at comments like this and make something just as good as the dookie album
More older there get the better there just keep getting as a band fucking fantastic live wasnt for green day I would not took a interest in music thanks green day
I thought it was just me that noticed that. Yeah something seems a bit off. Something definitely seemed up with Billie at the start of "Bang Bang" and they just don't seem as tight as usual.
@Its Kuya Mo Kevin wrong. Jason Freese is on keys etc. Jason White is the lead guitarist and Kevin Preston is backup guitarist (on acoustic guitar in this song)
@@devilsoffspring5519 I have seen Green Day live... Before the American Idiot album, when they had a great live show... Billie Joe used to play in his pants fucked up on amphetamine and Tre Cool used to burn his drum kit.... Should of quit writing after American Idiot and just played back catalogue because since then everything has been shit, well I suppose 20th Century Breakdown wasn't too bad.... You ever seen them live mate?

Green Day is an Alternative Band?
Punk
Btw I love your prof photo
WAIT A SECOND MIKE D MIKE DIRNT
It's actually insane how good they are live.
Yes
Yes! They are tight as hell, plus Billie's voice is always right on.
Talent can sneak in to mainstream music. Thank God they have gotten the credit they deserve. :)
I don't see that they are very good live, Billie is very short of breath and out of tune sometimes, I don't know how you don't realized.
@@fernandadiaz1664 feel free to upload a video of yourself and do better. And *please* try not to kill us with horrible singing

They still got it
Jack Richards They’ve always had it.
They never lost it 😂
The sound engineers are suppose to be praised!
I love Minority and it's so much better when it doesn't go on for like 15 minutes.
hahahahahahahahahaha, Napster/emule back in the Days :D

Every Green Day album has two or three special songs on it.
1:22 did anyone notice tre looking at the huge screen behind him?
Awww he looks like a child getting distracted by something 😂
He's so cuteeee

@@dabking94.19 Wait really? When did Billie looked on the screen?
This is joy.
I feel like there was a collective conscious effort to reel in the tempo where they tend to speed up. I love it even more for that. Bravo
The perfect song to go with the Thanksgiving parade!
But they have Macy's Day Parade lol

I would use this song when i had to run it was a good tempo for running.
Hitchin a ride is good for hills
I forgot I watched this video.
Stumbled upon it 2 years later.
Still one of my favorite Green Day songs
SO GOOD IMMA CRYING 😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥
Love this song forever
Green Day have still got it! Still thoroughly entertaining
3:42 Billie playing the "Oh say can you see" lick - perfect little addition to this song! Never seen him do that before!
"Thanks a lot you guys!"

What guitar is Billie using? It looks like a Gibson L6 but I'm not sure
has anyone noticed that he runs out of breath fast?
Yeah thats why his new music is a shit ton of voice effects, his voice is blown out
he still smokes cigarettes I think.
The man is also 50 years old but he’s still amazing. They all are!
Down with the moral majority
They kinda changed between tempos a little bit
Too many cooks in the kitchen, I sorta miss the old days of just Billie Joe, Mike and Tre.

Jason is needed though. 4 pieces are fine. Just not 3 guitars in my personal opinion
Where are they playing?
On earth
KROQ studios Cali
They enter slow motion in the chorus of this song live or something 😂
Yeah that bothered me, sounded great but it's like they went into the chorus just a tick late or something, lol

Since there is an acoustic guitar playing this song, why couldn't the song open up with it.
I'm a straight guy, but I would accept a B. J. from B. J.
A strong arm would help during it, too.
About as punk as Taylor Swift
