how does no one ever talk about how much this whole album was clearly directly and massively inspired by Irish folk music (especially this song)?? like even the artwork has it's colors 🤷♂ it's flagrant and awesome that's why they're honestly some of the best songs they've written imo

Youre right and I feel like thats also present in American Idiot especially with songs like St. Jimmy and Holiday. You can tell with both Warning and Idiot that some of it was inspired by that Irish Folk style. Who new it would work so well with punk.
