I'm going to attempt to analyze the situation and explain how the video ended up with an explosion.
Phil drinks half a litre of milk despite being lactose intolerant. Wes walks in telling him nothing bad is going to happen, so when the clock strikes midnight, Phil tenses up, expecting something to happen, but when nothing does, he relaxes. Due to the combination of the milk, and the contraction and relaxation of his sphincter muscles, Phil releases one of the biggest farts in human history.
Unfortunately, at that time, Antony forgot to turn off the stovetop while making his breakfast burrito, and so, Phil's fart is ignited and causes an explosion that consumes the whole room.

It's so true. I am so lactose intolerant but for some reason I can eat it w/ cereal. So profound.

Jin Lee Technically, expiration dates are arbitrary and not control by regulators. The producers can put whatever date they want so they would like to put shorter dates on it so people would by new food.

you know it's okay to eat food past expiration date, as long as it was well refrigerated? Also, milk can go bad in a single day if you leave it out on a hot day. I drink milk past expiration date all the time. The oldest milk that I ever drunk was 2.5 weeks past expiration and I never got sick from drinking milk. As long as it smells and tastes fine, it's good. Meat can be safely eaten cooked even after it gained a slight ammonia stink, and any blue mold on cheese is actually edible. It still doesn't taste good, so just cut away the moldy part and eat the rest.
And practically any food can be kept indefinitely by freezing them. Of course that does ruin the quality a little bit and be sure to tightly seal everything so they don't get freezerburned.
Dan DCC91 exactly. the printed date is more like a reference point. if the consistency and smell isn't bad and you're comfortable, i say it's still okay.
chempanda Just ate 3 week old pork belly strips that reeked of ammonia with yellow discoloring and were kind of falling apart. Still didn't get sick.

This was hard to watch for the grossness of eating all that so fast (except the omelette which looked delicious). The directing was awesome. I loved the light/hue change to match the mood change. I also loved the little distracting tangents in between. LOL at the red or green sauce decision drama. Good skit.
Love how at the end it's like "there's a bomb" but it's only hot sauce.

Dry tortillas, my arch nemesis has stilled again.
Cut them up into little squares and mix them into scrambled eggs. It's how Mexicans get rid of dry tortillas. You can also technically make chips out of them, but who has time for that?

This remined me of the time I ate 8 cans of beans, peas, corn, and (I think) pinapple slices. It said on the lable that it was going to expire on november 1st, and it was holloween at 11:56 pm so I ate all of the food. lol.

Due to the plastic. Water doesn't expire though. The expiration date for bottled water's like defaulted to expire like 2 years out after distribution. Interestingly enough, I don't think there's one video of someone drinking expired bottled water.

If your bread expires on the next 7 days, put it in the fridge for long lasting.
If you want to buy a milk in the first place, be sure to buy a carton of milk which lasts more than 6 months and put it in the fridge without worrying even though it expires.
I've chugged a while gallon of milk to save it from expiration before.....i also got nothing done that day cause i spent the entirety of it in the bathroom. So yes. Explosion is accurate.
I remember my milk expiring within the next 4 and a half hours or so. Then this video came back to mind. I had chocolate milk all day that day. It wasn't pretty the next day in the bathroom...

epic video but you know the people that supply food at the supermarket put a expire date on it if its open so that means if its unopened you can leave it without it actualy expiring offcourse because you dont know the expire date of when its unopened you cant trust it(supermarket trolls for money or the suppliers)

This is an old video , but technically the expiration date is when the food is the most fresh. It's still possible to consume food a few days after the expiration date.

You know what's funny, they died on my birthday, they mentioned my birthday, and they uploaded the vid on my birthday.
Someone forgot to tell them the expiration date, nine times out of ten, is just the recommended date to eat before it doesn't taste as good anymore. It's still very much so edible.

Well that's only true if the water bottle is not exposed to direct sunlight, which can seriously degrade much faster as opposed to more natural circumstances (stored in a cabinet.pantry out of reach from extreme temperatures and with no direct sun exposure). As long as its kept within desired conditions, yes they are defaulted to expire later than their exiration. Anyway, most canned foods don't always expire on their expiration date either.

whoa...you remind me of my ex..lol..she would buy more food and groceries than she needed or ever ate. Often times they would spoil and they end up as waste, which means more trash in the landfills. I used to take the food she didn't eat and donated to the local foodbank before their expiration date.
Water bottles do expire. The plastics degrade overtime (just as the plastic in condoms), especially in direct sunlight exposure. It's not healthy to drink water that has traces of plastics in it. So yes, water may not expire..but the containers do have an expiration.
LOL. Nice. But fun fact: foods don't actually expire on the day of the expiration date. Companies stamp an expiration dates that are actually days or even up to a month before the food will actually expire. However, I guess it's always better to be safe than sorry.
