Guys this is important: Make sure to run Guardians Set if you arent 2000+ Paragon. Its like night and day how much better it is early on vs Aughild's. Guardian Belt and Bracer, Trag Shoulder, Steuart's Boots, Briggs Wrath instead of Convention. This makes early farming soooo much faster. Very fast GR90's and it could probably do 100's just fine. Obviously dont use this build to push high end GRs.
Edit: Just tested higher difficulty GR. I am not in full ancients and I can do 105s with this setup. Takes about 3-5min depending on how many shielded/juggernaut champs I run into.
does that apply for wizards aswell? cause i‘m at 1k and playing with a meteor wiz
@@Foefii Not sure about Wizard. It definitely applied to my DH though. The GR pushing build I found on Maxroll used Aughilds and had "Guardians is better pre 2k paragon" in fine print.
I think Guardians is just a really strong set for early game on a lot of builds because it gives so much stat boost before you have thousands of paragon and full ancients.

Not sure what you mean by don't use it for higher GR's. People are literally doing GR140's with Guardians.

Ok... I usually play wizard, but when I do play necro, I go with a corpse explosion build. I just tried this build and I cannot believe how Immortal my necro is! I just mastered a set dungeon for the first time! I am a casual player and I don't bother with the ladder, I just love the game but I have been watching your channel for a while now and I thought, why not try a build I have never done before? I am so happy that I did! Thank you, Rhykker for the time and effort you put into your videos!
Super duper late to the party. Been playing D2R ever since, and I've never played D3 EVER, like I literally just started playing D3 2 weeks ago. Just starting to grasp seasonal mechanics, rifts, augmenting, using the cube, yada yada, etc, and all that.
Currently still powering up to complete this build with my 118 Paragon Necro. It's is nowhere near finished. In fact, the only Trag components I have are the boots, (Cube) Ring of Grandeur, and lastly (Cube) Bloodtide Blade. Hell I'm not even using the correct skills 🤣I run corpse explosion instead of the curse
And holy FUCK I must say the difference between without a Bloodtide Blade vs with a Bloodtide Blade is finishing a Torment IV GR in 12 mins vs Torment IV 4 mins

Just don't put your ring of royal grandrue in your kanais cube like he does it's a waste
I had never played Necro before this season, but this spec had me hooked...It's insanely strong, hilariously fun, and isn't even hard to play. What else could I ask for as a totally casual player ? :)

FINALLY!!!!! Blood Nova gets a build!!! Now I can play Necro again. I was so tired of AotD and the LoD builds.

@@corruptsolja No I didn’t play Necro because I didn’t like the top builds (not op builds, top builds). I like the skill Death Nova so this build makes me happy.
Necro has been my favorite since d2 but I played a monk last season so definitely going to run a necro this season, this death nova build looks amazing
It's really fun, just be careful with that damage dealt to yourself lol
I've been running the Rathma's set and it's amazing, definitely not a pushing build, but once you get it set up, you can literally walk through T16 rifts while watching RUclips and farm items. I'm up to clearing GR80s without casting anything other than Command Skeletons.
for those wanting the guardian set, technically the 2 and 3 piece bonuses have been swapped but due to already running a ring of grandeur this doesnt matter a whole lot
I couldn't understand why it has to be with the nova mortal skill there in the slots, since the simulacra use this skill without it being there.
So what confuses me is that you have blood nova on your bar at all. I've put devour: satiated in it's place, and it seems to help.
Pretty sure it's needed for the simulacrums. I had this thought the other day and that's how it was explained.

It is still the most annoying thing for me, that i cant rly pull mobs together.
Ooof yeah, that's been of the reasons I avoided certain classes as they dont have good "pulling" skills
It’s true that I agree this could make great content. If you want to know sooner, since the patch is tomorrow, just watch videos of streamers pushing GRs with these builds.
Takes only one or two runs of careful watching to get a good sense of what they’re doing for grouping. Helped me a ton!

Well there are two armors i just threw in inventory before logging off, i can check for you in the morning. One (ring) pulls with curses, the other (?) with attacks.
If I have one complaint it's that you don't do anything with the corpses that pile up. Like, I wish you could add two piece pestilence and the devour aura. Would it add anything? No, I just think it'd be neat.
Same man. It's like you're a necromancer... but you just leave all the corpses laying there. This just makes it feel like a vampire build

Glad necro has 2 S-tier builds and one is not LOD corpse explosion. I hated that build’s play style revolving around land of the dead .
Prefer the new guardian set, way tankier than aughild, because it gives insane amounts of health with trag and it boosts resistances through the roof, plus those missile and melee dr, play in to it aswell. Have not really tested, which does more damage and faster runs, but the guardian seems to Excel over aughild in that aswell.
If I understand it right it stops being quite as effective with a high amount of paragon. I'd say it's better the vast majority of the time until the highest end pushing where aughilds makes sense on elites
Yeah you want auguilds when you are prob at +2k paragons
Dunno. With aughild it just feels too squishy, and a struggle to stay alive. With guardian you can just jump in to the fray and not die. Gives more time hitting the enemies, rather than constantly positioning yourself. And the dps is in par anyway.
@@Viikkokalenteri I personally use new guardians anyway for major defense. I feel like aughilds was mainly for elite enemies only on super high Paragon because by that point your points into intelligence and vitality, plus gear quality should help sustain
Possibly. I only play casually on off season, with only 1,5k+ paragon. But with guardian and not full ancient gear I was able to push through gr130.
I can't figure out how the person in the run is hitting so far into the trillions. I've got everything the video talks about and I'm barely scraping 13T at paragon 727. Any ideas why this would be the case? I am also very new to the game, started about 2 weeks ago.
That's the build I wanted to see for a long time as well but I'm just waiting for D4 at this point.
Which two pieces of guardian set should I run? I assume I swap it for helmet instead of belt
i tried a few runs on non-seasonal and i ALWAYS struggled to make trags viable.. but it now blasts t16!
Is this build not really tanky or is it constantly loosing life cause i feel like he is constantly on the verge of death :(
It's a Life-based casting build. It doesn't use Essence at all with the set. But it's life pool is ridiculous. And it heals rapidly, and in high numbers. So while it might seem "squishy", it likely has 3x the health of any other class and build, if not more. So, just watching the health orb isn't really telling a good story.
That and this is T140+... NOTHING hits softly.
I'm pretty sure half the life draining going on is the footage using the blood spending rune on frailty to make things die just a bit sooner (18% vs 15% iirc) but siphon blood heals so much (on top of your hp pool being so massive that any healing that isn't % based just can't do anything)
GR140 he's not getting 1 shot, it's applause worthy.
I see you've renamed this as season 30 but some of this doesnt apply to S30. S30 uses guardians instead of crimsons, the build the footage was from isnt using aura, looks like early grave.
Can anyone tell me what the chest and left-side ring is for this enchantress? I know oculus ring is the right-side ring.
Edit: I think I found out what they are. Tal Rasha’s Relentless Pursuit and Ring of Royal Grandeur. I’m playing in season 28 so things were changed like the set bonuses are switched around for Guardian’s Jeopardy and Cain’s Destiny.

hey does physical damage on the weapon matter or should i just take aoe damage?

I thought the Iron Rose novas didn't proc area damage, because they themselves are a proc. Could someone explain?

What happens if uou don't pick Death Nova as a skill with this build? It seems like Simulacrum cast Blood Nova without it. But are they? Bone seems not to. You definitely do.

This is definitely a powerful build but I don't think it beats the army of the dead build... Army of the dead at 50,000% damage constantly with a multiplier of 10 ( 1000%) its a rgk this season for sure. Love your videos dude, glad you are still on the scene 👍

I’m playing an non-seasonal necro with iron rose and DON’T have death nova as a skill but siphoned blood still procs the blood nova. Could I add skeletal mage to help with rift guardians?
Question about the simulacrums. If they are supposed to replicate our secondary skills, then shouldn't we be casting Blood Nova manually? Otherwise how would they be casting it as well seeing as how our Blood Nova is a triggered effect from The Iron Rose and we are not actually casting it ourselves. Or am I missing something here?

Few skills in D3 care about how the skills are casted. Take meteor mage as an example. You rarely directly cast meteors but 90% of the items that boost meteors boost procced meteors, thus making the builds good.
Same with this: Simu's dont give a crap how Blood nova was cast, only that it is the only secondary (ie (normally) consumes essence) skill being cast, as syphon blood is not a spender.
We only equip blood nova so the simulacrum actually use blood novas themselves. If not equipped or a different rune is used they use that death nova instead of the blood novas. The simulacrum do most of the work since their duplicated novas can trigger area damage (so get enough area damage in you gear and you can do 4 or 5 novas worth of damage via the simulacrum alone)

I'm Very Confused. His skills are laid out different than mine are. On the first slot I have corpse/revive abilities but I don't even see those skills on his screen. He also has 3 of the 4 skills from the 4th skill slot. Is my game bugged or?
You probably don't have elective mode turned on

Guardians is what most of these builds are using now, even the top teir push builds are preferring it.
Looks ok, but I cant stand builds that doesnt kill bosses well, looks like u need 6-8mins or more on boss with this build, and that shit gets old really fast.
Yeah...its pray for guardians that summon minions or hold off on pylons to summon a pack yourself via nemesis bracers.

Its crazy to me how much easier to read diablo is compared to poe, even with tons of shit going on I can tell like 90% of what is going on, whereas when I play PoE there comes a point where the screen just becomes diarrhea christmas lights and you can't see what's happening or where enemies are. Not to mention PoE isnt optimized very well so you can drop frames like crazy depending on what sort of content you're doing
Do the simulacra count as minions or pets?
Is there a reason why I have a different legendary ability on the amulet? Mine just doubles life span instead of making it infinite? I have updated the game and reforged amulet
Old versions of certain legendary items stay on the old version of their power. Need to get a completely new version of that legendary as a drop or from khadala or upgrading a rare in the cube
Okay in a bit confused and gotta ask. I hear how tanky it is, but see your HP drop constantly. Which I assume is part of the life spending abilities, but how is the actual defense against mobs and such? Do you just constantly heal to overwrite enemy damage?
That was GR140 so hp drops 🤷♂️

Too much of a damage loss. Otherwise it doesn't properly work with frailty in its aura state but in the lower content you wouldn't really need that for making density

Do the similacrums cast the bloodd ovas we auto cast from using siphon blood or only when we manually cast it?
They cast it aswell, when you siphon.
They specifically use the death nova you have equipped (this is why we have to equip blood nova so they get the damage multiplier from the 6 piece bonus) regardless of whether you manually cast (which is never in this set up) or when your siphon blood triggers one via iron rose
Why do you need to take death nova? It still procs off the item?
Unless its changed between seasons, the simulacrums look at your skill bar to look at which death nova they should be using. Not having blood nova equipped makes them use a different nova and thus attack with a different element and not get the tragoul blood spender damage buff. Not having death nova on your bar at all and they may not even do any novas
My nonseasonal has 1200 blood shard, and my seasonal has 510 bloodshard. How many bloodshard will I get when the season ends?
Non seasonal cap being 1200 you'd get 0 extra. otherwise it would just fit and be 1710 if that's your cap or lower.
What do you mean by casting Bone Armor during the “physical rotation”? Which phase of the Convention of Elements would that be?
The convention rotates through the different elements; when it is in the physical rotation

I had a very weird problem. I'm playing non-seasonal. When I was playing the Trag'Oul Nova build, I have exactly the same equipment and skill setup. But when I hit enemies with Siphon Blood, it doesn't proc blood nova all the time. It seems there is a random percentage applied. Sometimes I got one after a few hits and sometimes I didn't get it at all even after dozens of hits. Tried restarting the game etc and even tried different Iron Rose. Not sure if anyone encounters the same problem?
Blood nova procs when channel siphon blood, you need to hold the button down

I use homing corpse explosion instead of death nova because siphon blood is already making blood novas with iron rose, don't need it on your bar to do that
It's on the bar so that the Sims proc Blood Nova with the rune, otherwise they use a runeless version.
Is this still going to be relevant in diablo 4?
lol finally buffed it. had this build since trags set got introduced. yes it was lame but at the same time it's just cool to play a blood nova necro once in a while. WD spirit barrage too before they introduced mundunugus lmao

I just got a decent primal from my first 70 rift and wanted to place sanctified for the ability turns out it turns my primal into another primal lol and just slaps the ability over it so my question - is there any way to turn it back to a normal item so I can use it as normal primal item or I just lost a decent primal item thanks to that new sanctified thing. I think I just got trolled by the event and lost a decent primal item just because I wanted to place the ability from the event on it...I was hoping to get that exact primal for 3-4 seasons and now I finally got it and lose it over this dumb season. This game is crap!

@@Section_230 Ya sure nowhere is explain that turns your item into primal at start players wouldn't put in on their weapons to gain the most of it because they didn't know I had many friends placing it on armor or jewerly because they only thought about the special ability.

Why do people not cube convention or krispins and wear rorg? cubing gives you max roll may not be as important when you're getting them primal, but right out the gate a perfect roll would be helpful no?

Yes. Although guardian set plays way better than aughild.
The big thing you will lose out on the Sanctified Power from the Seasonal mechanic, which is merely more damage. So, other than that, it works just the same. It might come up a tier lower in terms of top-end performance (A Tier instead of S Tier), but otherwise, same end results.
I thought that the Guardian's Jeopardy set has its set bonus's reverse after the latest patch notes?
I believe so, too. I think it's just an oversight in this guide. Should be reversed, but doesn't really matter as long as you're using a Ring of Royal Grandeur.

Do both wiz for the great start then switch over to Necro when you are built for meteor

OK so I got a question for everyone.
For Monk, the description of the Sanctified Power upgrade to the SSS reads as follows:
'The target of your Seven-Sided Strike is barraged with spiritual punches for 15 seconds. This can only affect one enemy at a time.'
And Uliana's final set effect reads as follows:
'Increase the damage of your Exploding Palm by 9000% and your Seven-Sided Strike detonates your Exploding Palm.'
The question is: if I am reading this correctly, does this mean that whoever gets hit by SSS will KEEP BEING DETONATED for 15 seconds thanks to SSS's punches ? So I can hit an enemy with SSS, detonation cycle of 15" starts, it dies and then move on and do the same thing to someone else ?

Anyone with IQ over 50 can make a god tier toon in about a day (thats WITHOUT class armor). Season 27 is so OP that there is litterly nothing left to do inside of a week. All this season did was show you how little content there is for Diablo 3.....

So patch 2.5 has been dropped for D2r right now. Very underwhelming patch for the next ladder. D3 is doing much more changes every season
Comparing apples and oranges there. D2R is a much older format of the aRPG genre. And it's framework is still that of a game made 20 years ago.
Just cause it looks nice on the outside, it is still the old, original, game under the hood. That is going to drastically limit what can be done. It is also the 2nd Ladder of D2R (which are run longer than Seasons in D3).
Consider that Patch 2.4 was launched on April 14th, but started PTR in January. We JUST got PTR 2.5 this week, and it's going to easily be another 1.5-2 months before it launches. And presently, no info on potential balance changes or new loot yet.
This would be the same as saying this once Diablo IV releases, which is getting a major dedicated dev team for just Seasonal content (which is more than D2R or D3, combined, likely have, in terms of staffing).
