While we’re on the topic of Jedi masters day jobs, I think the real reason why Windu went through the window is because he was sick of all these m&f# sith on this m&f# planet and he had his hands full dealing with the Avengers antics and trying to find all the hydra agents in shield. 😜😁

Qui Gon Jinn was one of the true last Jedi. He had likely seen the need to restore the balance. In order for the balance to be restore, some Force seekers must learn how to master the Dark Side of the Force. In one video on the Sith, one of the Sith's ways was originally focus primary on the search for knowledge. A true master of the Dark Side must have a very strong mind and will to help him to overcome the temptation of using the Dark Side to gather power. If there were Dark Side masters by the time of the Fall of the Jedi, they have likely remain in hiding until they were needed to help in the restoration of the balance in the Force.
That is why anakin did bring balance to the force
I’ve read something similar...that in the pursuit of knowledge the Sith felt they were in the best position to lead the galaxy or w/e, which drives their need for power in that regard. Sith are always looking to better themselves, while the Jedi were set in their ways
@@waz207 The problem was not the Jedi. The problem was Yoda. Yoda had a god complex the size of Jabba's grocery bill; he didn't actually _trust_ anyone, so he did everything himself. He trained the younglings, he advised all the Jedi, he sat on the council. And he did this for _centuries._ Yoda kept the Jedi static. This is why Qui-Gon's refusal to join the council was so disastrous, and why he was selfish to refuse the offer. The council desperately needed more diversity of opinion. They _needed_ Qui-Gon, and Dooku, and even Anakin.
This is just wrong. The Dark Side is a plague to The Force, and any Sith is like a tumor. To bring balance to The Force, you need to get rid of the Sith.
The reason why The Force was so clouded and dark during Palpatine's rise and eventual reign was BECAUSE of Palpatine. He was arguably the biggest "tumor" in the history of The Force, if that makes sense.
That was my initial thought, but George Lucas was saying that balance in the force isn't having equal parts dark and light but rather having no sith at all just jedi

The laws of the Republic replaced the laws of the Force. Cough, cough Jedi not being allowed to have families. It's telling that Vergere criticism to Luke Skywalker about Ben's birth was not about attachments but the fact that he just founded a dynasty. Meaning, that Jedi not being allowed to have families was imposed originally by the Republic out of fear.

I have an idea for a video how about you take us on a tour so to speak, show us the various rooms in the Jedi temple and there exact function and purpose, I know there are maps of the temple, you can use those as a baseline. just an idea
Now that I think about it. Maybe Ahsoka was given to Anakin to keep him off the council, simultaneously hopefully getting him to grow the fuck up in the meantime.

Obi-Wan beat the brakes off of everyone he fought. No one was going to stop him.
Obi-wan was his master in episode 2 and he wasn’t on the council, in episode 3 he is in the council but he’s no longer anakins master so the same rules still apply there

Yes. I like him the best for these very reasons. You could call him a, "whole picture, kind of guy", as opposed to MOST, others, who are -were only, "looking at the smaller view".

What if the Vuutun Palaa had closed her hangar bays and docking areas and resorted to picking off starfighters one by one with the quads, rather than launching all of her starfighter squadrons and straining the central computer? The N-1 could only carry a limited number of torpedoes (), which clearly had very little to no effect, and its guns were obviously only useful from other starfighters up to maybe corvette or light and medium freighter-class ships.
What do you think? Would a hunker-down approach have saved the DCS, or would Bravo Squadron have found another way to harm it? Also wanting to know what the subs think, I'm genuinely curious to know how solid this is.
Wasn’t there were five Jedi councils? One in each tower, with the High Jedi Council in the tallest, center tower.
No no, there were only the 4 councils. The council of reconciliation, reassignment, the council of first knowledge, and the jedi high council. Each of them in the 4 spires surrounding the tallest one. THAT one (the tallest spire that is.) Held the most ancient jedi knowledge and the oldest jedi texts. Most of which are in book form! (Take a moment to realize just how near IMPOSSIBLE it is to find PAPER in star wars!)
If only everyone on the council was like Qui gon jinn they would've had a far easier time teaching jedi and with its approach to politics 👏

As much as I love that period of lore and love the Jedi, I cannot understand two thongs:
1. Why that spiritual order of warrior monks was so deeply involved in politics, bureaucracy and even police and military forces of Republic?
2. Why the order of warrior monks with their settings of self isolation of the outer world‘s temptations and such stuff was so deeply involved in outer world’s business?

Interesting. Star Wars Explained did a similar vid based on the book but more to me gave the view that the order found him unfit to join the council rather than that he himself found he didn’t want to join the council.
I'd venture to say that the meridian trench is as wide as a six lane highway. I'm sure there is a metric somewhere that says how wide it is, but I can't find it at the moment. But if we figure the x-wing being 21 feet long and it being longer than it is wide, having three at a time able to make the run slightly overlapping would take up less than 63 feet with plenty of space on either side. Modern autobahn lanes would suggest around 73 feet for six lanes without a center divider.
An X-Wing is 41 feet long, not 21. Nearly three can fly side by side, down the polar meridian trench. Each one is about 10.5 metres wide.

Qui-Gon should have joined the council. He was selfish to refuse.
The Council's biggest problem throughout the prequels period was that they were an echo chamber. There was never any serious disagreement between them - they all thought the way Yoda wanted them to think. They desperately _needed_ diverse and unorthodox voices. The offer to Qui-Gon was their attempt to achieve this, an attempt that Yoda had voted against. That fact alone shows why Qui-Gon needed to be there.
Is there a video/ story about how exactly qui gon learned to become force ghost? Since he is the one who teached yoda or smth along those lines

They simply didn’t want him on Jedi council because he believed and followed only the force and he was willing to go behind the Jedi council to train anakin skywalker they didn’t want him and didn’t believe in the path he was on and he also didn’t want anything to do with the Jedi council except for like asking to train anakin but they said no and when they said no he was going to go behind there backs and train him anyways and plus yoda and the council thought he was a fool with the path he went down and the way he did things and that he followed only the force even yoda told obi wan kenobi after he was killed
