- While smartwatches are great, they are often too big for people who are not super into fitness. Not to mention, the area that a smartwatch covers is less efficient in measuring heartrate than the area that a smartring resides in, meaning that smartrings are very good at recording and analysing sleep patterns. RingConn and Oura are two of the known brands in the scene, but RingConn has serious questions about the pricing of smartrings in general. Is the Oura Ring Gen3 worth the price, or is RingConn here to take over? #RingConn #WeDoCare

I am considering a ring for use while playing volleyball to track my activity primarily. I already have the Google Nest Hub Display with sleep sensing for snore tracking and an Apple Watch 7 that I sleep with. I did a sleep study and want a device that would help with snore and sleep apnea tracking. What do you recommend? Is there 1 device that would work for volleyball and sleep apnea tracking?

I ordered mine 10 days ago, and I'm still fighting customer service that only responds to email once per day around 3am east coast time, to get the ring size kit in hand. Never got a confirmation email, and I can't seem to register online. Not the strongest start.

Why are these more expensive that a fitness tracker? They do less but cost more? What the...?
By wearing it A few days you can not do a review. The oura requires at least 7 to 14 days to be able to give you any significant data.
Oura ring goes on index finger. The app sucks. If they can improve the app it will be 10x better.

In other words, not trying this, and not the watches either.

They actually work really well for sleep tracking, so if you're into that kind of stuff - why not?
