Hi Jami, I’m glad you are reacting to Dr.Stone. As a chemical engineer, I find this anime pretty accurate and it became my favorite anime. Every time I watch this anime, I just want to build new things. It’s really satisfying to make things from nothing and see the evolution of technologie.

Jami, since you're a massive fan of One Piece, there's actually a link between Doctor Stone and One Piece.
Boichi, the manga's artist, was commissioned by the OP staff to draw stuff about the franchise. Among their work are redraws of Mihawk vs Zoro and Nami vs Kalifa (CP9 Soap Lady), as well as a Story of Ace mini manga series.
I totally recommend checking that art out, Boichi really goes ham at making the male characters look super wild and the girls super cute but badass...much like Oda XD

Fun fact: Dr. Stone actually has two authors, the person who writes the story and the person that does the drawing.
The artist is from South Korea. Before he worked on Dr. Stone, he drew manhwa (the Korean equivalent to manga) as well as some work for One Piece, his own manga called “Sun-Ken-Rock”, and some… Very lewd one-shots. Let’s just call them that.

Better late than NEVER! Season-1 premiered back in 2019...an announcement was made that Season-4 will be the FINAL season, but with LOTS of manga volumes (#16-26) involved (11-12 volumes depending on whether one counts the BONUS material published AFTER vol-26 as included in the anime), they might do what was done for AOT: 3-cours of 11-13 episodes, etc. Thank You so much for finally reacting to "Dr. Stone"

Its my personal headcannon that because Taiju and Tsukasa were flexing, Taiju in trying to protect the Girl and Tsukasa looking like he was sitting like a boxer in the ring that their Muscles are stronger than before they turned to stone, it became their new base.

I'm going to drop some science stuff on every upload. So in the start of the episode when Senku mentioned turning plastic into fuel, he's talking about pyrolysis, super heating plastic in an oxygen free environment where the plastic's molecular bonds start to break causing it to decompose into simpler hydrocarbon molecules then the vapors of this processed are captured and refined into a useable fuel. The problem here is energy cost, however theres a youtuber who on a smaller scale is getting pretty energy efficient process to turn plastic into useable fuel.

Glad that you're giving this series a shot. What Tsukasa thinks incorrectly is that all adults are tainted and corrupt and that teenagers and children are pure. What should be pointed out is that there's bad eggs on both sides of the fence.
