  • The triangle choke is the favorite submission of so many people...myself included. But setting it up and finishing it aren’t always the easiest tasks. In this video, I show common responses and defenses you’re likely to encounter with your triangle and how to dismantle or overcome them. I hope this helps.

    Hey Eli, as always, I've loved your videos for YEARS.
    I'm one of BMAC's students out here in 10P Decatur, and the PGF web developer/stats guy. I'm also the guy that brought you guys the pizza when you were last out here.
    I'm working on a project for a social media platform specifically for fighters, fans, and students. It's primary feature is developing courses that you can sell, but it has SOOOOO much more than that.
    I would love to shoot a shot and see if I can talk with you about this and pick your brain some. I believe that when you check it out, you'll agree that this can be far bigger than anything BJJFanatics or GoGoGrappling can do.

    I get multiple triangles EVERY comp I compete in, and I NEVER finish them. Some of the details outlined in this area groundbreaking. I suppose because they're details that fit within "bigger" details. I suppose it makes them easy to overlook. Either way, this video could single handedly make my triangles way more deadly. Thank you for this!

    Can i ask BJJ practitioners a question? So i go to an MMA gym and im basically the token striker with a decade of experience showing up to get rolled by these dedicated BJJ grapplers and thats great. I like the challenge, that im learning new things etc. However ive asked them all ever so persistently to please spar stand up with me even just light or technique sparring and they seriously refuse to. Is it a bjj thing that they....i dont want to say scared. But, what could be the catalyst making them all so adamantly refuse to spar stand up with me when they are also martial artists who routinely get to just flatten me on the mat?

    • @hkmma6543
      @hkmma6543 3 года назад +1

      They are bjj guys they don’t want to do striking. Keep at it and get better at bjj. You will become a better martial artist than those who are one dimensional
