- The triangle choke is the favorite submission of so many people...myself included. But setting it up and finishing it aren’t always the easiest tasks. In this video, I show common responses and defenses you’re likely to encounter with your triangle and how to dismantle or overcome them. I hope this helps.

When it comes to improving my bjj skills, I always come to this channel and it never disappoints
I appreciate it greatly. Thank you!
No kidding
💯💯
Me watching the video: I can do that.
In rolling: sh*t, what did he say?
It really be like that
Alllll the triangle stuff
All your triangle stuff ♥️
Good stuff. Me and my son have pretty solid position games, so now we're working hard on high percentage submissions. This is just what we needed.
This is one of the (if not THE) best videos I’ve seen about the Triangle! Thank you.
Thank you! And I’m glad it was helpful

I'm always here for triangles. Oss
Just came across your channel and I'm glad I did. Great information and thanks for sharing all of this! 👏
Incredible content. Thank you, Eli. Badass details and an amazing resource!
Thanks, now I know what I was doing wrong
Me too. Everything. Everything was wrong
Hey Eli, as always, I've loved your videos for YEARS.
I'm one of BMAC's students out here in 10P Decatur, and the PGF web developer/stats guy. I'm also the guy that brought you guys the pizza when you were last out here.
I'm working on a project for a social media platform specifically for fighters, fans, and students. It's primary feature is developing courses that you can sell, but it has SOOOOO much more than that.
I would love to shoot a shot and see if I can talk with you about this and pick your brain some. I believe that when you check it out, you'll agree that this can be far bigger than anything BJJFanatics or GoGoGrappling can do.
Hey Mark! I appreciate it man! All of it. DM me on Instagram so we can connect about this!
Thanks again, good follow up to triangles everywhere.
Thank you for watching them both!
Love the details and concepts!
Thank you so much! I could never finish triangles and now I know my mistakes!
Why. Did. It. Take. Me. So. Long. To. Find. This?!
I get multiple triangles EVERY comp I compete in, and I NEVER finish them. Some of the details outlined in this area groundbreaking. I suppose because they're details that fit within "bigger" details. I suppose it makes them easy to overlook. Either way, this video could single handedly make my triangles way more deadly. Thank you for this!
I’m a white belt but, just the detail about turning your body to the side, is huge. And the waiter sweep for when they posture. Great stuff
Thank you for the intel. OSS Professor, details. 🥋
Very helpful man!! Also nice rash guard🔥
That’s what I was thinking too😂
Great video, thanks.
Thank you for sharing! These are awesome
Thanks for all the great tips.
thank you sooo much, Sensei!
Everytime I expect the old intro music.
I gotta switch it up
Considering the triangle choke is my favorite submission; I need that rash guard. lol
Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🏽
Excellent
Thank you so much for this!
Thank you coach
Thanks you,
thank you so much Prof.!
man ur video is so helpful. thx a lot
I’m glad it helps!
Triangles at all angles
Love your videos! Easy to follow instructions! Thank you for these!
Thank you! I’m glad they’re useful!
More triangle vids please
Drop the link for The Triangle Mafia shirt. Awesome video, hoping to lock these in day
Send a message to Fittofightrepublic.com and see if they have any in stock 👍
Me: *White Belt*
You: *THE GOD OF BLACK BELT*
my coach always tells us to always grab your shin with one hand and the head with the other before cutting the angle
This man has about 15 different intros
Woahh bjj is so cool when you learn it , i think bjj is so essential to learn
Guess who was googling how to finish triangles just last night haha
an idiot with no real coach
A great Master !!! 🙏
😮😮alléluia
Think you
I always get my neck/choking leg pushed across from the same side hand/shoulder.. they just throw it over their head. Not even sure what I'm doing wrong
Can you show a sequence from triangle from bottom side control. And also how to attack the other arm from there?
I’ve actually got a few videos on that. Here is one ruclips.net/video/tk3fM6IC9aI/видео.html

Super 🖒👍👌👍🖒
Yeah ! I realised it myself
Where can I buy that rash guard?
It’s from Fit to Fight Republic. Not sure what stock they have left, but that’s where you can find it!
Awesome,
i used to be able to finish these all the times and it seemed like i devolved and now it doesn’t feel right
And how to defend yourself, if someone gives us a knee on our neck, because if someone has a strong knee it can suffocate, I tried to twist and throw the knee out but it is not that easy for me and it requires a lot of strength what I should do
Is the carotid artery fist push a dirty or illegal move?
It’s not illegal, and I don’t personally think it’s dirty.
🙏🙏🙏
BJJ is all about angles.
Top Oss Brazil
What happens if they start leaning to the side where their arm is out of the legs, could you go for omoplada?
Not really. The arm wouldn’t be in the right direction for Omoplata. But there are some other possible options.
the hardness thing is i can't take my right leg out from his left arm😢 can teach some skill for me...?
What would you do if he stands and stacks, as if he is trying to break guard and pass? Maybe a dumb question, very new to Bjj.
Not dumb at all. Hooking the leg with an arm is typically the best solution to that.
Who the hell gave this thumbs down?
My hips can’t do any of that.
No questions only trying to learn Knight jiu jitsu
Can i ask BJJ practitioners a question? So i go to an MMA gym and im basically the token striker with a decade of experience showing up to get rolled by these dedicated BJJ grapplers and thats great. I like the challenge, that im learning new things etc. However ive asked them all ever so persistently to please spar stand up with me even just light or technique sparring and they seriously refuse to. Is it a bjj thing that they....i dont want to say scared. But, what could be the catalyst making them all so adamantly refuse to spar stand up with me when they are also martial artists who routinely get to just flatten me on the mat?
They are bjj guys they don’t want to do striking. Keep at it and get better at bjj. You will become a better martial artist than those who are one dimensional
@@hkmma6543 Yeah I've noticed and just adopted the mindset to stick at it to be well rounded
@@bEtHeSdA_LAME_sTuDi0s yup. Good Bjj guys might tap you, but in a real fight you might give them problems if they don’t know what to do on the feet.
@@hkmma6543 Not saying all purely dedicated bjj guys are this way because i know they aren't, but ive certainly noticed that there is a sub group within the dedicated bjj guys who only grapple because they are too soft for the striking realm. I do respect bjj especially after doing it for about 4 months now. Its just a different game.
@@hkmma6543 I think what i wasn't understanding was that i always made sure to specify the sparring would be "very light or technique" sparring and didnt realize that to someone who does not want to strike that it just doesn't matter.
