Very good video. You covered the subject exactly as it is. You presented from real experience ... vs a travel log explanation. The part about missing some hidden damage ... is a very real issue.
Why do some people choose to be hateful to this young lady? She posted a helpful video and seems like a lovely person. You keyboard warriors need to check your hearts. Build people up. Don’t tear them down. Goodness.
We're going back and forth between new versus used. You bring up great points on going used. Especially with all the poor workmanship we've heard about in RV's manufactured since 2020. I tend to think that quality was better prior to then. And cost certainly is a big consideration. Thanks for putting this out here.
FROM CANADA, THE BEST THING TO DO WHEN YOU WILL BE OLDER IS TO HAVE A PAID HOUSE NEAR A BUS STOP. I USED TO HAVE A FIFTH WHEEL GIVE IT TO SOMEBODY IN MEXICO BECAUSE OF HEALTH PROBLEM.I AM 72 MY HOUSE IS PAID AND TAKE THE BUS FOR 35 DOLLARS A MONTH THAT IS REAL LIFE FOR ME
i got a 2008 rv 50 k miles, it was the rolls royce of class b plus in 2008. couldn't be happier, newer ones are falling apart, super expensive. quality i got you cant find any more, need to be aware of tires, and gen hours but would recommend what your video talks about. especially if new to it. can always resell and upgrade down grade
warranties are basically non existent the MFG will give you so much red tape its not even worth the hassles the paper work they make you sign at new basically makes the MFG not liable for anything. if they do chose to fix. it it will be done half ass and will take months and months
There is another problem you have to consider, most RV Parks will not accept an RV over 15 years old, which may be why RV manufacturers are building new RVs so badly.
We've been RVing for 18 years and have owned 2 new RVs and 0 used. Personally, I'd be very judicious about who I was buying used from especially if it was a later model year RV. As you mentioned, there are people who make well-meaning "improvements" and may or may not have done the work properly but there are also a lot of RV owners out there that haven't got a clue how to use their RV and never take the time to learn. This mis-use can cause irreversible damage and headaches for the next owner. Equally, maintenance is often skipped because it is "too expensive" so more problems get passed along. Personally, I"ve had nothing but good experiences working with manufacturers for first-year warranty issues. And we keep our RVs long enough that resale and depreciation aren't really a factor.
I'm planning on living on the road after I retire from working and claim my social security benefits. I might get a pre-owned RV or a cargo minivan. I will finally get rid of landlords and live rent free.
She got that crazie hippie chick look. So she's probably in her 30's. Still young enough to get stoned while some dude she trusted takes advantage of her body.

She's kinda "valley girl," but her points are spot on. Don't blame, or defame, the messenger.
Buying used compared to buying new in this sloppy manufacturing market makes complete sense. Good video.
Superb! Thanks for sharing :) I definitely look forward to watch more of your videos!

Tell everyone in Elkhart hi.
cool
You are a cool and graceful woman. I really liked you.
I've bought new and used, each had it's advantages.
What is the model of RV you have now? It looks awesome and I'd like to look into one like this
I wouldn't buy an RV, lol. I might rent on. 😁
50% when you get out of the dealer... is exaggerated.
Americans realizing the pros and cons of used cars. Amazing.
😴😴😴
Truth!, but it's impor-int

Dont buy new cars either. A good old Toyota., 5 years old, will last practically forever.

“ My entire life “, what are you, in your 20s?!
Look what we have here a comedian!
She was born in a rv inside a barn?
I wonder if she's been this annoying her entire life, also.
She got that crazie hippie chick look. So she's probably in her 30's. Still young enough to get stoned while some dude she trusted takes advantage of her body.
I love you
Gross tattoos
Gross comments that absolutely Noone asked for.
There's nothing about her that could possibly be gross and I'm not a tattoo fan.
She got those crazy eye man. You gotta be careful around that one.
