Delta Shower valve cartridge RP19804 replacement

*****Note: The video shows the replacement in the cartridge (not really my camera was mounted on my hat GoPro too close to the work so poor footage) in the same orientation as the original which is wrong. You will want the plastic tab on the right side with the replacement Cartridge RP19804 hot side should still say to left this part is designed differently. (Sorry figured this out after the video) Replacing the genuine Delta part cartridge RP19804 due to a slow leak into the tub. This cartridge is for 1300 & 1400 series tub/shower valves. Replaces single control valve cartridges with white upper cap made before 2006. This part also replaces Peerless Faucets prior to 2004. The camera does not catch some of the handle removal very good due to close proximity of fixture and the camera. I also placed a little bit of anti seize to just about everything with threads so you do not get the galvanic corrosion or calcium buildup on the parts. ***Be sure if you have kids you set up the anti scold/hot side stop so it does not get to hot. It is an adjustable stop setting you can do before you put on the handle back on permanently. Video shot with a GoPro Hero 3.
