So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to come to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.
New standard for collaborations. No egos, just a little flexing by all involved. Great blend and composition as this didn't sound weighted to either Band Maid or The Warning with the material they have out over the years, but is a great amalgamation. Watch out world- Warn the Maid! From now on "featuring" is a pass on collabs, "with" is a hell yeah!
Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

The video was also very similar to other Band-Maid videos. There is a great unofficial fan cam version of the show where they played this live together in Japan.
This video screams "GIRL POWER!". This was an amazing collab, which are notoriously hard as hell to produce well, and they NAILED IT! Kudos to both bands and the production crew on this one. Band-Maid and The Warning are the new "Power Couple" in rock. The Maidiacs and The Warning Army can now join forces and create the "Two Nation Army".
This was pretty epic. Everyone had a great time, there was a lot of good chemistry between all members and there have been hints that they may do this again. Will be looking forward to your new project.

Band-Maid and DPA/TW met at Aftershock a couple of years ago... they were already fans of each other and both playing sets there gave them the chance to meet and get some pictures... idk when the subject of a collab came up between them but DPA/TW were already wanting to go to Japan... this was their first time there doing 4 or 5 shows, i think... at least one show was co-headliners with Band-Maid... i think that was also the performance where Show Them was debuted with both bands playing together on stage very much like in this OMV... I'm not sure I'd describe this as "dueling". This feel very much like the "conversations" MISA & Kanami have during BAND-MAID concerts. The riffs are complementary, not competitive.

To me, it sounds very much like the opening theme for an anime series (and just as forgettable). Cool that they did it, but meh. Hopefully this isn’t a one off and they do another collaboration, but this time with a better song. Not terrible but not good either.
