I'm the same, I love both bands. The Warning Army and The Maidiacs, the two best fan bases in the world come together to watch one of the greatest collaborations ever. This is how collaborations should be, it's now the gold standard of how collaborations should work.
The Warning went to Japan in June to play 3 shows, 1 with Band Maid. They went over a couple weeks early and they got together, finished the song, and shot the music video. The song was played live at that 1 concert, all 8 ladies on stage, but only a 30 second or so teaser clip has been officially posted so far. The bands posted shorts of the solos section, leading up to this release, Ale vs Misa, Akane vs Pau , etc, Miku got a solo short. The song will be on the upcoming Band Maid album. Lyrics are credited to Miku and The Warning. Kanami composed the song, challenging everyone, including writing it in a higher key than Saiki and Dany usually sing in. In a PRS Guitars Japan interview with Kanami and Dany, they said that the bands should do a return engagement in Mexico, Dany made the challenge to do a song in Spanish. The one song you've done from The Warning is from the new 4th album, which has a bit different sound than previous stuff, that album was the first time writing with other people. Check out "Evolve" (3rd album), live from 2023 mtv video music awards. And for Enter Sandman, the straight cover they were 14 12 and 9, was 10 years ago. You like bass…try Ale (Alejandra) with DUST TO DUST at the Teatro Metropolitan OR at the Lunario CDMX when she was just 13 years old. She is mesmerizing. Ale the ‘Thunder Goddess’ often anchor many of The Warning’s songs, she does the intro or the outro, some songs you just hear her bass while Dany sings without playing her guitar. In QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE Dany has one of her rare but beautiful solos. At the same time Ale did an equally beautiful bass ‘solo’. Going in opposite directions, you are hard-pressed who to listen to between them.
If you react to The Warning doing Enter Sandman you should do a triple reaction. Their original straight cover in 2014 at ages 14, 12, and 9. The official music video for their re-imagined cover with Allesia Cara for the Blacklist album. And finally the live performance of the re-imagined cover at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. The live performance is a bit different than the studio recording because Alessia is not there to sing her verse, but her vocals are on the backing track. There are enough differences between the live performance and the studio that both are worth checking out.

Paulina Vilarreal ( Pau ) is 22 years old and is drummer backing vocals and some lead vocals and finally Alejandra Villarreal ( Ale ) is 19 years old and is bass player and backing vocals. Yes i was correct Dave Ellefson the bassist of Megadeth was a music instructor at Berklee school of music when the Warning took a summer 5 week course there that was sponsored by Ellen Degeneres and Target.
