When we first heard this song back in the day we just started jumping around dancing like- what the hell?! This is amazing! You can never go wrong with Foreigner!
Harri, you are our Jukebox Hero everyday. Foreigner could rock your world or melt your heart with ballads. The Foreigner 4 album was "loaded". Glad you enjoyed it!!! 🎸🎸👍✌
Foreigner is a great British-American rock band who started in 1976. They had a lot of great hits such as "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold As Ice", “Hot Blooded”, "Urgent", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", "Double Vision", "Blue Morning, Blue Day", "Dirty White Boy", "Head Games", "Break It Up", "That Was Yesterday", "Say You Will", "I Don't Want To Live Without You" etc.
All great songs for sure. But let’s add “At War With The World”, “Long, Long Way From Home”, “Seventeen”, “Women” and “I’ll Get Even With You” to that list!!!
They have a bunch of good stuff - The Damage is Done , Spell binder , Headknocker , I'm a Fool For You Anyway , Blue Morning Blue Day just to name a few . you are the best Harri . rock on !
Inspired by a fan waiting to get a ticket to a sold out show, Mick Jones brought him backstage to see the set up. Mick himself had waited 5 hours to try to get a ticket to a sold out Jimi Hendricks concert. Lou Gramns vocals are insane on this song. It went to #3 in 1981. The band absolutely, crazy rockin. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Imadrummin for a great jammin' time. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Great 👍 song. Produced by Mick Jones and Mutt Lange in 1981. Same year Mutt produced the album For Those about to Rock We Salute You for AC/DC. Mutt also was 1 of the backing singers. Main keyboards 🎹 and programming by Thomas Dolby. The next year, he sang She Blinded Me with Science. Mutt Lange sang backing vocals. In 1983, Mutt Lange produced the album Pyromania for Def Leppard. Thomas Dolby played keyboards 🎹 and programmed them. Back to Jukebox Hero. Written by Lou Gramm and Mick Jones. Lou Gramm was the lead singer before he quit due to the greed of Mick Jones.
Another great choice from Imadrummin! I just love Foreigner, and especially this song. How could one not love it? It gets me out of my seat every time! Harri loves it too! 🌺✌️
5:25 🤔🤔🤔 if you look up the year this song was released and investigate the number bands that showed up then you can understand what he means about “got to stay on top “ there were many Great Bands then and I was alive to watch and hear it happening 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and I know a lot of those rock bands and I was a cowboy and listen mainly to Country but still all the music from the 50’s-80’s there was beautiful music and you could understand it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😂🤠
Great react Harri. Foreigner was a big part of 70's rock, but they'll never get in the Rock Hall because Mick Jones laid into them and was then told they'd never get in. What a shame that politics gets in the way.
Seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show in February 1964 at the tender age of nine is definitely what made me want to be a drummer. In fact my first drum set was an exact replica of Ringo’s with the black and white pearl. It was a Ludwig just like his and had Zildjian cymbals just like him. Most of my friends traded baseball cards, I traded Beatle cards. Lol
For me, personally, this song is one of a four song suite. In play order: Jukebox Hero - Foreigner Turn The Page - Bob Seger Limelight - Rush Shooting Star - Bad Company
This is one of those song where you have to be on the floor in front of the stage feelin the beat through your feet bad ass for real. Saw them in 82 and 83 in Charlotte North Carolina
Each house in Vedic Astrology can be divided intov12 equal parts. The 8th house is the most dreaded house and can also be divided into 12 equal parts. One of the parts of the 8th house is described as "Fall From Heights". It can literally mean physically falling down or fall from a high position.
NO HELLLL NO HARRI 😊THEIR FIRST 4 ALBUMS ARE REALLY GOOD WITH THEIR DEBUT ( FOREIGNER ) SCREAMING 😊 FEELS LIKE THE FIRST TIME, COLD AS ICE, HEADKNOCKER, HOT BLOODED WELL THERE'S SOME HARRI
This sing originated by Lou Gramm when he was young. He was the guy outside the concert. Greedy Mick Jones has lied about it being his song. I’ll trust the guy who made them famous. Mr Lou Gramm
I'd recommend "At War With The World" for another great heavy song from Foreigner. If you want something completely different, check out their spacey masterpiece "Starrider". Both are worth checking out at some point.
Love everything about this song. It takes its time, getting to chorus. Just this slow build that's poignant and melodically great. Ironically, I think the chorus is weakest part. It's good but not as great as the rest. Then, you'd think they'd spent their ideas for the lead-in, but they brought us another great verse, in the same style. Then we get that epic guitar solo. I don't think Foreigner ever rose higher than this one.
I just love your reactions!! Your insights are very sharp and expressed in a way everyone gets what you mean. Well done. If you want a short funny one to check out just for a laugh (although, in my early teens, it was my Anthem). "Homegrown Tomatoes" by Guy Clark.
if a better voice for rock ever existed i haven't heard it. there is only one lou gramm. blue morning blue day is one of their stellar early hits you need to hear with the official foreigner video : ruclips.net/video/E-vPFNihnGQ/видео.html
Hey why don't you do something different than all the rest, do a "Comparison Reaction" no one else will do it, I have asked, This song has a similar formatted lyrics to a song released earlier the same year. There are other songs as well, here are 2 by my favorite band : BOC "The Marshall Plan" vs "Jukebox Hero" by Foreigner and BOC "Debbie Denise" vs "Beth" by Kiss. Thanks
So much great material has come from Foreigner. _Urgent_ and _Cold as Ice_ are two of my favorites. 😁
You can say what you want about Foreigner, but they are tight as a drum.
Lou Graham's voice wowed.
Great song 🎵 ✌️🎶
Yeah! Lou Gramm just killing it!👌🏼🖖🏼
Totally one of my favorites!! This song motivates me to go for what you want!!
When we first heard this song back in the day we just started jumping around dancing like- what the hell?! This is amazing! You can never go wrong with Foreigner!
Another brilliant record produced by the legendary Mutt Lange! Truly one of the best producers of all time.
56 yo and I can still sing this song word for word lol Foreigner is in my top 10 bands of all time
One of my favorites by them. Great song! Check out Dirty White Boy by them!
Harri, you are our Jukebox Hero everyday. Foreigner could rock your world or melt your heart with ballads. The Foreigner 4 album was "loaded". Glad you enjoyed it!!! 🎸🎸👍✌

Saw Lou Gramm few years back, he did most of Foreigner songs plus few of his solo songs. Great time. Was about 20 feet from him.
Inspired by a fan waiting to get a ticket to a sold out show, Mick Jones brought him backstage to see the set up.
Mick himself had waited 5 hours to try to get a ticket to a sold out Jimi Hendricks concert.

Great react Harri. Foreigner was a big part of 70's rock, but they'll never get in the Rock Hall because Mick Jones laid into them and was then told they'd never get in. What a shame that politics gets in the way.

good ol days
Style number three coming at you with their sadly only journey into Prog Rock with "Star Rider".
Listen to Urgent by them

You need to explain what a 'Jukebox' is for youth of today!
gotta start with their first album , and the song Women.
It's about a hendrix concert that was sold out....lol
Check out John Farnham - When the war is over ( Live ) [ The last time Melbourne 2003.
I just love your reactions!! Your insights are very sharp and expressed in a way everyone gets what you mean. Well done. If you want a short funny one to check out just for a laugh (although, in my early teens, it was my Anthem). "Homegrown Tomatoes" by Guy Clark.
Many of their songs are bangers. You've got many suggestions in the comments.
You are the best…
They're more of a rock band...Hot Blooded, Blue Morning, Blue Day would be great to listen to
☮️❤️🔥🔥🔥🎶🎵🎶...😎
Definitely do long long way from home.
❤
Check out the Byrds song So You Wanna Be A Rock N Roll Star
One Trick Pony? Not by a looong shot!
Try Keep on Dreaming Even Though it Breaks Your Heart Eli Young Band
KISS was inspired by The Beatles, and in turn, inspired another generation.
They could have even been greater had Mick played a bit more lead on more songs blending a bit less with the synthesizer.
