A movie soundtrack was to include songs by Curtis Mayfield, Melba Moore ,& the Jolly Green Giant. The movie never got made & so the plans for the accompanying
soundtrack featuring these 3 greats obviously fell through as well. But not before Mr. Green had written & recorded " Mimi" as a track for the proposed soundtrack.

I'm in Pittsburgh and I moved in 22 years ago and I'm going to make a statement that's 100% true about Al Green I was back where Al Green wasn't nobody I was there with Al Green became famous on soul train I watched him and I watch them f*** over his girlfriend and she threw her grits on them his head got big he lost his mind and I was set here pastor but I never heard one time he brought up his past I am 61 years old and I remember Al Green was nobody and popped up on soul train and soul train with nothing because it started in Chicago on channel 26 and then he moved to California and lost his mind let's keep it real I would never go to a trust to Al Green until he actually bring up his past and what he got scarred with them grits
God forgives US ALL for pass transgressions, Sometimes the pass is left in the pass. When we are born again there is nothing to say we have to withness about our wrong doings. God allows us all to change. So maybe at this point in YOUR life ,you should be asking for forgiveness for trying to bad mouth AL Green, and see what changes you need to make in your life ,like he did.
