Took your Skillshare productivity classes recently and have gone down the digital productivity rabbit hole! I’m time tracking, touch typing, reading GTD, learning all the keyboard shortcuts, calendar blocking, using a task manager, building my Notion pages 😄 For once I’m actually taking action on what I learn so thank you! (And the real proof is in the fact that according to my time tracking app I have doubled my amount of productive work time compared to the start of my productivity journey!)

Every channel is good untill it gets paid promotions😊 After that the audiences are just skipping ads to watch a long ad😅
I like to separate digital writing into two apps: Notability for marking pdfs and Good Notes to just handwriting. I like the way notability deals with pdf, and it has just the features I want. There are other pdf markers out there with even more features, but I just need something to highlight and wrote over the pages, so notability has exactly what I want to use. And I love Good Notes because it can have a magnifier screen, which you can write in a large area. The writing gets way prettier!
Wow, I'm early today. Of the 10 productivity apps, I'm using only 1 (Notability), I guess I'll have to try out 9 of these to see which works for me. Thanks for the tip Ali!
I actually use none of the 10. My most important productivity app has been the guilt I feel when I’m being a couch potato 😂😂. That works really well. But I’ll be trying some of these apps out.
Ali, after watching all your videos I have not only bought a nice standing desk for me and my husband but I'm also switching from Windows to Mac and getting an Apple Mac book pro, I pad, and a Kindle. Thanks for enriching our lives with your wisdom. Can't wait to start using these apps. You have to understand if someone is making a video or actually making an Ad. But..... In this video he shows that iPad is meaningless.. its worth nothing without those Apps' Subscriptions.. not just one... But 10.. maybe many more to come ahead.. When they promote blinkist, they show that this is what's missing in your productive Life, then some other company buys them so they tell you to buy subscription of company they are already sold to.. dont buy what they show.. give some time.. you will automatically realize that you dont need it unless someone gifts you😅 Because productivity is not in iPad or these apps, its in who you are or who you are becoming 😎

Day One and Things 3 are the two apps I cannot live without. I have been using Things 3 since 2018 and it runs my life. And in November 2019 I started daily journalling. Today is day 434 of consecutive journalling :) It has been _amazing_ with the "on this day" prompts each morning to look back on previous years. This year is going to be *very* interesting to look back on each day from 2020!
@@leonlebail Great question. I wasn't very good at journaling at first either. Took me several attempts to get it down to a daily habit. Now I am at 825 days consecutive journaling! I take some time in the evening to write up my day. I have a template that asks me a few common questions such as how well did I sleep (as i don't sleep well), what I did in the morning, afternoon, evening, how have I felt today, how was my wife and son today, what I ate for each meal and my weight (as I've been tracking weight loss). I don't always fill in everything but most days I do. I also add any pictures taken that day if we went somewhere interesting or something fun happened. As for style it is a mixture although it is mostly like a conversation with myself. Over time I change the format a bit for example when Covid was kicking off I was also making note of any big Covid news such as our daily case numbers, any new measures, etc. Not something I do now but is quite interesting looking back to April 2020 when we were in lockdown with the rules, cases, deaths, etc. Hope this helps!
