    I am not a beginner but this is confusing. Not thorough. She should have also started the ribbing on one front panel.

    I finished this pattern in 3-4 days, and it was my first completed article of clothing, and it came out perfectly! I absolutely love it! I used a worsted alpaca yarn and a 6mm hook, and it’s so squishy and cozy. Next one I make, I think I’ll add buttons!

      @@kirabosch3258 Might be too late lol - but I see no one replied. The pattern gives the yarn requirements based on size - I did a large and used just under 7 Skiens. Her sizes go XS (S, M, L, XL 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X). Here are her notes - Worsted Weight (4) Yarn, Lion Brand Heartland in Mount Rainier 6(6, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9) skeins or 1375(1450, 1530, 1610, 1700, 1810, 1890, 1970, 2030) yards

    I have just finished making this for my daughter, she is absolutely delighted with it. I have previously made blankets and clothes for my granddaughters soft toys and dolls. I really enjoyed crocheting this lovely cardigan . I made it in the Large size but i did adapt some of the measurements as had been suggested in the instructions,i also purchased the written pattern.My youngest daughter has also asked me to make one for her too. I really enjoyed making this for my first project, so pleased how well it turned out .

      She goes too fast on the ends, changing to another row and turning isn't very clear. Also doesn't show work very well.

      I found that following her video for the beginning of a piece and then going to the written pattern to finish helped me a lot! I’d watch her video to start a panel, a sleeve, etc. and would then go to the written pattern.

    I love this cardigan and really want to make it in a Fine (#2) or Sport (#3) weight yarn. Do you think it would work in a lighter weight cotton or wool yarn?

    I love this sweater. But But But the neck line is too big, it falls off my shoulders. How can i make the neck line smaller? Can you show me how to add a collar?

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet
      @EvelynAndPeterCrochet  7 месяцев назад

      Hi! To make the trim wider and create more of a collar, you can work in turned rows around the opening! So after you join from the bottom corner of the front panel, work your sts up the side along the back neckline and down the other front panel. Turn your work, Ch 1 and work the Sts back. Just repeat that as many times as you would like until its as wide as you want!

    I made this and came across a problem and hoping you can help me. I am making the x-large so there should be 2- 92 rows. When I finished row 92 I was on the right hand side of my rows so in order to work down the ribbing rows I would need to turn the work and that puts me on the wrong side of the panel. I followed the pattern (foundation chain, row 1 and then row 2. Counted til I reached 92 and this happened. Should I not be counting row 2 as 2 and rather row 1 of ribbing chains and not count the foundation chain and row 1 in this count of 2-92?

  • @sarahkerns2448
    @sarahkerns2448 6 месяцев назад

    love! Working on this now. I used loops and threads soft and shiny weight 4 and it is a lot thinner than regular #4 i think. I'm making a medium and when I got to 90 rows for the rib it only equals about 17.5 inches unstretched. I hate how the yarn weights arent consistent!!
