    I like it, it's my first time visiting the channel. Don't mind me just some notes below
    @00:00:15 materials
    @00:00:24 length of cardigan chain
    @00:01:27 body measurement
    @00:01:46 row 1 half double crochet 🧶
    @00:03:20 starting sleeves
    @00:05:05 chain for second front/back panel
    @00:07:40 shoulder markers/ measurement
    @00:13:35 try on point/ sleeve measurements check ✔️
    @00:14:20 sleeve ribbing
    @00:18:12 try on and check points✔️
    @00:19:38 sewing 🪡 garment together ( note single crochet / slip stitch can also be used)
    Final thoughts: after watching the whole tutorial, I love your sleeve ribbing. I'm finishing up a project now with sleeves I'd like not as wide.... So, yeah i'mma do this ribbing on it, then start this pattern. I've done a two ✌🏽 panel cardigan never a one panel cardigan, and this just looks so versatile if you adaptor the stitches used, but keep the same method. I learned a lot. I appreciate you.

    You have a very gentle, teaching style and a calm voice. Your little dog is so cute and obviously felt totally relaxed in your presence. Your long cardi looked great on you.
    Some of the people in the comments seem new, so it might be nice to add some helpful diagrams or pattern instructions to help them. Even if you just draw on paper and add it in as a screen shot.
    I have some experience beyond beginner and it was difficult to follow the part around the neck and I think I would have to do this myself to completely figure it out.

    Oh this is such a great tutorial!! Now that you know your stitch count could you do it all in one panel and work from sleeve to sleeve? Lovely cardigan! It’s there a reason why you yarn under at the beginning of each stitch? If it’s a design feature let us know (next time) because otherwise this changes the stitch size and complicates how others can make the same gauge as you. I usually follow written patterns but my daughter wanted to try this so we are going to each make one for ourselves, can’t wait to start!

    • @valeriepoole1535
      @valeriepoole1535 9 месяцев назад +3

      I think she hold the yarn as in knitting, I don't think it would make any difference to the stitch size, it's just the preference of the person as to how they hold their yarn, ( I believe).

    • @AspenBennett-j6o
      @AspenBennett-j6o 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@valeriepoole1535 it actually does make a difference in the stitch size because when you yarn under you use less yarn so the stitch is smaller

      after you do your 105 you do 210 half double crochets down the row, since half the row is chains and half the row is stitches you just half double crochet in 105 chains then half double crochet in 105 stitches for a total of 210 half double crochets, i hope this helps😊
