This is Why Parents Should Never, Ever Take their eyes off of their Children, Because You'll never know what kind of Sick People are out there in this world.
When I was six I was camping with my grandparents and brother when I got lost during a bike ride. I put my trust in a man who aloud me to get into his car and he started driving thank goodness my big brother happened to come around the corner and I got out of the car. I shudder to think what could have happened to me.
I can't help but get angry whenever I watch one of these videos and it seems like every single person is saying you should never leave a child alone. We get it.
Yes you get it,but allot of these parents dont get it so thats why we say 100 times "never leave a child unattended" maybe someday they get the message
I strongly agree with you, because the woods may possibly be filled with strangers who aren't very friendly people who are interested in hurting small children everywhere. Thumbs way up if you strongly agree.
Andrea Patane you are absolutely right. I am not a hiker, but common sense says you don't leave three little kids on their own even if you are just a few feet away.
@@slydoll7877 My mom used to go to the bathroom with the door wide open so she could keep her eye on my sister and me. Can't expect young children to stay out of trouble just because you told them not to go anywhere.
You could tell just how much it hurt the dad that he was being interrogated but again he understood why he was. Even the one officer said that they had to do so since he said that a mom was involved with 2 missing kids a little while before and he had to be sure that this really was a little girl that had gotten lost
Yeah I lost it when I saw that paramedic crying. If that were my kids daddy he would never take any of my kids anywhere for a long time. It was that little girls daddys responsibility to make sure they ALL were safe and he failed. I wouldnt guilt my babys dad as I am sure he would have guilt from it all. But he would never take my kids like that again.
Matthew: I am Matthew Wooden. I’m 37 years old and I remembered the incident when my sister Naomi got lost in the big forest. I have a wife and 4 children.
It’s been 28 years since this happened so Matthew is 34, Rachel is 32, and Naomi is 30. I was scared when I found out she went missing. Thank goodness she was found safe and sound. This happened on a Saturday and 30 days before Christmas. I’m sure she said “Thank you” to those who were there for her. I’d hate to be in a situation like this.
As a mother of one and a retired day care provider and nanny, I always said, You can not turn your backs on the little ones, not for a moment. It is sadly true. It is not worth the unforseen possible dangers and or the chance that it "wont happen" or "happens very little.."
Never take your eyes off a child. They are unpredictable. I don't say that in blame. We had a Houdini in the family. All the doors had three locks, one an alarm system.
It's so sad when children get lost while hiking. It would be nice if they should wear brightly colored clothing once in awhile, because it's important to be visible to people who can find them safely. Did you know that this situation was recorded on my grandmother's birthday?
Yeah and it would be nicer if the man didn’t leave not only his small children, but one being TWO-YEARS-OLD unsupervised in an open area! And it’s also important to not do something that stupid and negligent!
If you've been watching crime movies, I think it makes more sense to 'speculate the worst' in this scenario. And nope, I don't think it's automatic speculation... The little girl has been missing for hours and they couldn't find her within the set distance, and with a lil build like that, she couldn't have gone that far.
Omg so I was watching something on TV last night about this dude who went to the emergency room because one of his back teeth was itching really bad and the doctor took his dentures out and then asked him what he used to glue his bottom dentures in and the guy says bologna and the doctor says oh well you have MAGGOTS growing in your gums and when I heard that I almost gagged like how... what... i dont... maggots...bologna...
When a child goes missing it’s so scary and terrifying it’s like the end of the world you never know what happening with him or her when there missing for days it feels like forever so parents got to keep a eye on them at all times don’t lose them out of your sight.
With a core temperature of 70 and no blood pressure l don't think the baby looked at daddy and started to cry!! That guy sure likes to stretch things in my opinion.
Pretty sure he'd rather be known as the guy who had to go to the bathroom rather than the guy who left his small children out of sight in the middle of the woods
Someone explain the purpose of this computer thing to me. I don't get how the heck a computer can tell you what a kid is going to do. Especially back in 1994.
It does a bunch of calculations to narrow down search areas and things. For instance, a two year old girl is very small, she can’t walk very fast and will tire easily, a computer program will take a topographic map of the area and narrow down the likeliest places to search.
Bigger question why would you take a two year old toddler on a hike without a baby backpack or a leash? Yes I know leashes on kids are controversial however in a situation like that I would put one on a toddler that young and not leave a toddler with a older siblings that's not over 11 years old
Tiny toddlers move faster then we think, especially two year olds, at that age they can walk and run with no problems or falling over, they know how to climb and don’t have a sense of danger yet, I still don’t understand why the dad left the supervision of his youngest daughter in the care of a four and six year old child, while in the home, or a backyard maybe the playground but never for a public place, the woods, the bathroom and pool
Not really here to judge but I can't help but think that u shouldn't leave kids that little in the woods where u can't see them let alone I would always have them within an arm's reach errr I'm not even done watching this and I am very upset with this dad.
I totally agree with you. Those children weren't old enough to have dad just walk off. Children don't stay in one place and get lost easily and what would happen if a wild animal came dad was gone. I am glad that the child was found but I don't know if I would trust dad to take the young ones hiking.
