- hello everyone and happy artfight! In this video, we’ll be discussing EVERYTHING you need to know about artfight, including signing up, uploading characters, and setting up your profile! This guide is intended to help beginners (like myself), and even provide new information to veterans :) I hope this video is helpful for you guys! Also, there’s something special for those who make it far enough into the video ;)

Once again, “my mom rates anime boys pt. 2” has been delayed :( I’m really sorry you guys, and I appreciate your patience. My mom and I sat down to re-record everything after the original files (and the backups?? ) got corrupted. The audio has a rough cut already, so the video should be out pretty soon! I’ll be working on it during breaks from artfight, but it’s definitely a priority!! I’m trying to get videos out faster, and the goal this year is to release at least 10 videos! This makes number 4, so we’re making good progress. Let’s see, what else…I’m moving out of my apartment soon! It’s a bittersweet ending to my time here in NYC, but I’ll be visiting quite frequently :)

im nervous that i wont be able to make art for anyone
since sometimes im unmotivated and it takes me forever to make art anyways

I understand how you feel :( but try to remember that artfight is supposed to be fun! try and find a character that you think will be fun to draw. there's no pressure - just create something that you enjoy making :) I also think that taking long to create art, especially elaborate pieces, as a beginner artist, is totally normal. So don't be discouraged friend!! what's your artfight username?

I was never interested in artfight because my art ain't good enough imo.
I get this mindset cause I had it for the longest time till I decided to take the plunge and I promise u nobody cares about the skill level, art made for you is always going to be cool no matter the skill level. It’s a silly game for artists to fuck around and have fun!!
Couldn't have said it better myself! The most important thing is to have fun doing it. Please don't feel discouraged from joining. I know that I, and tons of other people, welcome attacks from newer artists 💕 if you join, please lmk your username so I can follow you!
