- Dang man...I missed a point about how we just stare at the gate way to the site the day artfight opens waiting to send attacks..... oh well. another sleepless night. ;v;
Yo, hope you don't mind the reupload! I realized I could just fixed the bad line read about the furries if I just rerecord it more tastefully and reupload it. Like Duh, what a goof I have been to not realize that sooner. Was never my intent to reinforce stigmas nor do I feel happy about it staying in my video.

how can you have a higher chance get attacked in art fight? this year is my first time joining and im worried if I will end up getting nothing at all (since when I post my char ref it might get buried)
I think she mentioned in another video to attack people who have revenge as a high priority. Joining the discord is good as well.
I’d say look for people that prioritize revenges or look for people that have a higher number of attacks vs defenses! Another possible thing to look for is other first-time fighters bc they might be just as excited about getting attacked for the first time :3

follow a bunch of people. most people will look at your profile after you follow them so you’ll get more eyes on your characters

I just put in my bio in green that my first six characters are my priority, but I’m honestly happy for anyone to draw any of my characters. I guess this is more unique to me but I have over 80 OCs, but only about 25 on AF. If my characters are on AF, it’s because I’m happy for people to draw them

I am setting things up for my first Art Fight ever and gotta say it's pretty overwhelming, but gladly I have a friend to help and time to actually do things!
I'm approaching this as an experience and not having too high expectations of how much and what art I'll receive. Actually am just more excited that I get to draw other people's OCs.

I do the charater symbol thing. Yea as my charaters for the most part have linked settings. I do also link toyhouse for charaters if people want more image refs. But I make sure the baseline information on site itself.
Haven't seen your videos before but they keep on popping up in my recommended and I do enjoy them.

I hope I’m not baiting 😭 I’ve been really into anthro art lately but I’m struggling to really make a character so I only uploaded two that have really simple info 😭 I do have two humanoid creatures but mostly human 😥 I do have anthro attacks
No no! Baiting is only if you make non-human characters just to get more attacks. You actually like them lol

No need to be sorry! Those are fun questions! ^o^ I seen all of those but Soushin Shoujo. It looks pretty cool! I might have to watch it since I'm on the look ot for new anime to watch atm. I was a big fan of Shujo Chara but I dropped it when it got to around the last season with all the fillers. I do plan to coming back to it someday. I didn't get very far with Mew Mew but I should look into the reboot. It might be more to my speed. ;v:

Hi idk if you're going to notice this but, can I ask if every art style are allowed?, like for example I have an stickman like art style is that ok?
yeh all kinds of art styles are allowed! I don’t know which stickman style you mean but depending on how much you simplify the character you might want to have your attacks/defenses classified as “simple shaped characters”, and super simple characters that can be drawn in liek 5 lines aren’t allowed. you can check the attack guide on the site for more info

While I understand why people put rules in characters, it also seems a bit stupid to me unless it is very useful information
What I truly don't understand is WHY do I need an account to browse.
I can answer that. Its to try and stop both bots. And character/art theft. Obviously this can still happen. BUT it happens way less if people who cant be bothered making accounts cant get in.

For bots I suppose they can put a confirmation code when signing up or strengthen the way accounts are created ? I don't know.
For art theft this is kind of a big stretch, because on the Internet you can't really fully prevent this and I suppose people with similar characters would eventually start arguing.
Maybe they can add spectator roles or something idk lol

Very informative, however, I must ask why did you race swap the first one? Couldn't you just color pick off of the reference, at the very least? It seems very disrespectful.
You're gonna have to take that up with Crayola in 2003 for not making enough skin tone markers in there $8.99 Walmart pack. I was using what I got man. Sorry to color correct what I had invisioned for my characters back then. 🫠
