I might be reading to much into this, but I think that the inspiration behind selfie Gwenpool is that, at SDCC, selfie sticks are not allowed and the joke was that the POP was breaking the rules by "bringing" one to the con.
I remember REALLY wanting that Grinning Ultron and I still think it's better than the common imo but I do agree it should have been chrome. I have the Joy and Sadness exclusives and just have Joy's body turned slightly and propped her up against Sadness to keep her standing. I wish they made a glitter version of Disgust and Anger should've had something similar but the EE exclusive is good enough. Lol that Aquaman can be found for $2 on Walmart website, probably the cheapest SDCC pop ever. My boy (Isaiahuntz) was thinking about getting (or actually got) the SDCC walker OOB and he asked me if I thought it was the common or the exclusive and I was like "what's the difference?" Lmao
damn 2 bucks? The next step is them actually giving them away or just trashing them. Haha yeah that walker out of the box looks virtually identical if you have one where the blood splatter looks very light like it sometimes does.
You make a good point about Pop's being exclusive or limited runs that doesn't necessarily mean they are of value. Is there an exclusive you bought that you thought was good at the time but later changed your mind?

The common spider gwen is a really cool looking pop, definitely a must have I think. I have my lorax like right in the bottom middle of a huge pop wall, next time I rearrange it I'll shoot you a message to see if you still want it, but like... it takes me days to arrange that particular wall D:
it's not a bad pop really, I just think funko went overboard with the character at the time. I have the toys r us one, I think thats the one with the cell phone. Just so damn similar. Like you say, it should have been one or the other

The Aquaman isn't a sdcc is was it was just a summer convention one that was released. You could of just picked him at a comic book store hot topic or fye. I remeber seeimg him at my local hot topic.

The Bloody Rick Grimes from 2014? was the same as the Prison Walker, just the common with sprinkled blood. He was lazy too. Also False God Superman from 2016. I thought the Flase God statue from the movie was cool so I picked up the POP even though it was just a re-paint of the common Superman. That's one where a new mold would have definitely heavily benefitted it. And as much as I hate to say it because Tigger is my favorite Winnie the Pooh character, but the flocked Tigger from last year was next level bad. Again, that's one I knew I had to pick up due to not wanting to dish out $200 for the original Tigger on eBay, but every single one I saw that day, the flocking was atrocious. That's one that would have had no problem selling if they would have just put a non-flocked version in the common Pooh set when it came out back at the end of 2016.
I agree that the false god statue should have had a new mold but as a repaint I didn’t think it was that bad. It’s at least creative and looks way different than the common. I think that pop is underrated.

It used to be in the mid 2000's that I would go to cons and get really good deals on stuff. Nowadays everything at cons is a rip off. It's not even worth buying stuff at cons unless it's something that is ONLY going to be sold there and never again anywhere else.
@@CollectingPlastic My problem is that I'm up in Canada so we only have a few retailers here that sell pops/get exclusives so I have to bite the bullet and hope I can find good deals at cons which I do sometimes even if I do have to settle for a damaged box from time to time
I agree about doomsday, I know Funko had to go off the movie and the movie is what he didn’t look right in but I was hoping they would make a comic version after seeing people wanting a correct doomsday. I agree with izombie that the common should have been the exclusive. I don’t mind Ultron because he’s different but do agree they could have done better. I don’t like the Captain America/Bucky one. They should just stick with them separately. I like the prison guard walker but again there’s not enough of a difference between the common and exclusive.

I think funko should have themed a legion of collectors box around the death of Superman with a 6 inch doomsday in it. Would have been a great box.
