Emily I’ve just joined your online step by step tutorials and I must say after only one day I’m learning so many new things! Your my favorite teacher…and I’ve bought many classes from various WC artists. So thankful for you! 🥰
I am so glad I found you Emily! I love painting animals and I love your style and your demonstrations and tips! Thank you for sharing them with all of us! I look forward to each video!!
Hi Emily! Great video and technique! Ive done a few pet portraits ( with good results but way more painstaking and overworked way) what i couldnt gather from you video was at what points you mightve been continually been working wet in wet in the middle stages ( first half of the video) by spraying ( unless you are that quick) or you let it dry
Thanks for your comment! I live in a dry comment, so I tend to work wet on wet for the first wash, then wet on dry. I don't typically spray my painting with water.
Thank you for sharing your process. Is there any way to get a tutorial on a golden retriever that has longer more golden/brown fur? I have tried multiple times to paint my golden, but can’t seem to get the fur right. I am probably overworking the areas, and I probably need a lot more consistent practice.
From four years ago, but as lovely as ever.
Thank you.
More correctly -

I appreciate that!
Absolutely incredible.
The way you use the colors is amazing!
Wonderful, thank you . I love how you used so much colour to show the white of the dog.
Thank you so much 😀
Love your work. thank you.
Thanks for watching!

What a kind comment! I am thrilled to hear you are learning so much!
Great job. I enjoy your videos, and the fact that you live in Colorado!
Glad you like them!
I slowed the video down, so I could really sit with what you were doing. Thank you for explaining your process so well.
You’re welcome 😊
You really deserve more recognition, you are so good! I have only watched this and the spaniel time lapse, but wow!!
Agree! I was surprised that they don't have a million likes. One day they'll be blowing up RUclips with followers.
Thank you very much : 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Stunning, such a wonderful experience watching you paint

Incredible! I've been commissioned to paint a portrait and I'm a little rusty. Love your loose painting style.
Thank you! Hope the videos are helpful!

That’s a great idea!
Magical and beautiful! I’m amazed how you mix colors especially 3 . Where or how can I learn how to do that?
Emily Olson Thankyou!
This is beautiful, Is this available in a slower tutorial?
Sorry, not this one. :-/
What determines for you if you choose hot or cold pressed paper?
Subject matter and the level of detail I plan to include. I have a video about paper here: ruclips.net/video/rVprDTL_suQ/видео.html
