I really wanna buy some Uncle clothes, but bc of the price (of course, you pay more for sustainable and good quality), I'm a bit hesitant. Although there's a size chart, most of the pieces are modelled by ppl wearing sizes xs and small, so it's hard to gauge whether or not they'd fit me well. Would you guys be open to using more diverse-sized models in the future? Also, love you, Allegra!

totally agree with tailoring jeans! i found a pair of black levis ribcage on clearance and got the leg taken in for a more straight leg fit... all together it was still way cheaper than paying full price and they look exactly how i want!!
I can tell that I only have Levis jeans and my size is 24 when I go to the store and simply buy it. But when I tried (vintage?) Levis from the 80s my size was 27. Maybe that is the reason behind the size differences when it comes Redone.
Janka Aisha Kovács totally could be! I love the redone jeans and I love vintage Levi’s but every time I order or thrift it’s different depending on style so I always aim bigger because then I can get them altered!

It only took me 4 years to get all these basics 😅🤣😂🤣 First buy was the leather jacket. Just swiped the black blazer with a camel one. And went through multiple white sneakers until I found the perfect ones. I would add a striped top/ t-shirt/ sweater to the list, either black or white base. 🥰😘
Totally agree with the right type of jean. Love the ones that aren't too stretchy, and more so firm + the straight fit vs skinny ( i'm a thing girl so I like the fit of straight pants) Emphasizes my waist/hip area and less on my skinny legs lol

Love this! I've been steadily paring down my wardrobe and really trying to focus on getting some solid basics. Just discovered Levi's Wedgie jeans (thrifted two pairs on Poshmark) and I'm loving them. Real denim makes a huge difference!

You're totally right about looking for minimal to no stretch in jeans, but it's sooo frustrating to 'atypical' body types. For example, I have super curvy thighs when compared to my small midsection/belt loop area, but also quite a long inseam. At this point I'm convinced my perfect jeans don't exist. So I have to find companies that will do a long version but with a lot of room in the hips/upper thigh area...and I can't just go to plus sizes because then the waist is too loose and even the general fit is off. So confusing I literally haven't found any pair of jeans that doesn't have a major flaw in either the length/waist size/hip room... I don't want to be out here in skinny jeans or stretchy jeans. I'm tempted to just learn how to make my own out of denim fabric.
Actually...if anybody knows someone who will make custom jeans to fit the person, hit me up. Idk where to get that done, only ever used minor tailoring on dresses etc.

what colour do you feel good in? how about gray? swap for that! if you want to keep it basic go for something without a pattern and not an out there colour so it lasts and you love it

Love Redone jeans! Tip though: they run SO SO small!! I am a 24 (4) in practically every jean brand, but at Redone I am a 27 it's nuts.
