Tom is so natural, smart and light hearted. Doesn't make the interviewee burdened and brings the best out of them

Some of the strongest and influential words I ever heard in a film was by Poitier.. " You look at yourself as a Black Man, I look at myself as a Man." I felt it through S Poitier and D Washington from their very beginnings. That phrase supersedes all races and class.

Gotta love Denzel... its an interview about film and acting, not race.. and in the interview, black or white, doesn't matter to Denzel, they're all actors

You can tell how Denzel does NOT want to talk about race despite the interviewer constantly bringing it up.

A complex issue but when you're Denzel Washington, I think it's safe to say that you are afforded certain luxuries that the average black actor is not.

    "So?" Hahaha
The interviewer _must_ be aware that colourblind casting (and gender-swapping) has been a thing in theatre for a long time now. It's film that needs to catch up. Or maybe he isn't aware...
