  • My older brother and I used to dream about building our own tiki room. Now this is becoming a reality with the Squawkers Mccaw animatronic parrot. After I get all the motions working properly I'll put the skin back. For the controlling software I used the Visual Show Automation (VSA) 4.0. This software supports various control boards that you can use. I'll be posting more videos as I add more motions, songs and features. Thanks Walt Disney for the fun and the memories.

@abitofwhimsey No, I didn't replace the motors with servos. I disconnected the motors from Squawkers circuit board an connected them to a VSA compatible board.

This is so much what I have always wanted to do. I have the show servo controllers. Do you have the wiring details that you would be willing to share?
