I worked at disneyland from 1964 to 1972, with the Tiki Room one of my assignments. Had a blast. Back then, the sponsor was United Airlines, and every hour, guest would be taken to paradise, compliments of Jose and the gang of birds, flowers, and tiki gods. Live One!!
Em is the best. Miss her much!!!!
I go to see the Tiki Room every time I visit Disneyland! Great memories of childhood. Love it!

A lot has changed since 1962. I wonder if these attractions will continue to have their appeal in the future in age where most people get their entertainment from home.
It used to be better when the hostess directly talked to Jose to start the show.
