I come back to this all the time because it's 10/10. I can listen to each song with no skips. Perfect album, perfect performance.
This album got me through high school
And even though it's been almost 10 years since the release I still think Threads is a masterpiece
it really is! its one of my favorite albums of all time and it feels like my comfort zone.
Threads is quite possibly my favorite album of all time. I'm 54, so I've heard some stuff, but this record never fails to charm me.
Honestly this version of now now was amazing. I wish this still existed
yes
Yes and yes
Yeah, the new stuff is crap.
You girls complement each other
Its so sad and emo and not belonging to society and oh men
0:14 Prehistoric
4:21 Wolf
9:33 Separate Rooms
16:40 Oh Hi
20:09 Lucie, Too
30:05 School Friends
37:00 Roommates
45:00 Magnet
54:35 Thread
1:00:35 Dead Oaks
Not all heroes wear cloak
You are the best kind of person.
People like you make the world go round.
:)
do you guys know there's a japanese indie band called Lucie, too?
I miss the old Now, Now and the old Cacie, her hair was so fucking cool and the music was so relaxing and smooth. This video will always be one of my favorites in the entire world
me too bro :")
Same ),: but we all eventually have to change.
Loved them then and love them Now, Now! Ha ha. I miss Jess in the band! Hope she will come back.
If you follow Sombear you can really see that the new Now, Now really incorporates what they both enjoy the most.
@@tnsfan1980 x2 bro
It's like sad, but pure and really cute at the same time.
Like a type of distorted tranquility.
This host is SO absurdly nice and kind, like the most enjoyable fellow. Everytime I watch it, I feel like becoming friends with him would be a lifetime achievement.
Late reply but I totally agree
That’s Seth rogans brother.
@@ssgssjb9905 R U 4 Real??
DOES NOT COMPUTE na lmao
He also did La dispute Audiotree, it’s amazing!
I come back and watch this set at least once a month.
Threads is MY album I can play from front to back that I think is unskippable. Good to hear theirs!
This whole set brings me way back, there's something perfect here.
I miss you Now, Now.
when you're at home alone with covid and you're feeling destroyed, but you find some cool band to listen to for the rest of your life.
2012. Playing indie rock with my mates, chess vans on feet, cheap telecaster in hands, indie-emo crazy hairstyles, slim jeans. Bunch of kids having the best fun in their life on indie band shows. Gosh i miss those times so much:( hope this culture will come back some day.... and in 2020 i just discovered The very fukin best indie band I've ever seen. How could i miss it. How is it possible that they are not huge stars? They deserve it. Best indie ever.... this best performance on audiotree
i love everything from this era 2010s music, people, clothes, social networks (my space) young people from this era seemed to have better fun.
Nowadays 2020s people seem to care more about social networks, likes, twitter, instagram, and Cancel culture....
this music is perfect for playing in the background during an existential crisis
Whenever I'm in a bad mood and need to chill out Now, Now is my go to. So chill.
Ahh 2010-2012 was an unreal time for music. Miss these days.
My god! I love the feeling when you discover something new that is so good that it's giving you goose bumps and this stupid smile on your face. Thank you Now, now. Thank you Audiotree.
c4st323 such an inspiring group! I love the way their sound just /washes/ over you.
c4st323 you found them just in time for their new music :D. They are so good. See them live if you can
it's a shame that I won't get to see Jess and Cacie together on a stage.. :/ plus they would have to come to the Czech Republic for me to see them live, or somewhere close.. hoping for that European tour.. :)
Jess have another band call Tancred wich is good too, has a great 90's vibe
This recording is an absolute ClAsSiC!
The sound production is so spot-on wonderful. Everything sounds awesome. No wonder that I keep coming back to this recording to relive earlier times :)
Years later I still love this
this whole session is completely incredible, and shout out to the interviewer for asking if they could play one more song since dead oaks is my absolute favourite now, now song!I wish they'd release another album but at this point it seems almost certain that they never will... but at least we have the masterpiece that is threads
they're back from the dead apparently, check their site or social media
yeah, i saw! it's pretty exciting after 5 years, but i'm not too sure how I feel about the new single and new sound yet ... i guess so-so new music is better than nothing at all though
to be honest, I didn't particularly like it either. I'm so sad actually. With Abbott gone, too, we're probably never going to have more of this kind of Now, now.
Thank you so muc for uploading!! this band is brilliant and I fell in love with them through this session. getting to watch the whole thing now, is awesome!!
July 2019 and I still come back to watch this sesh, it's just too incredible not to watch it again and again and again.
such a talented band. ugh i'm in love
girmeow314 same.
Honestly, Threads is my all time favorite album
Earphones in, volume up and Magnet = goosebumps everytime. Then KC's voice at the end takes it to a spiritual place. Never get tired of this session.
Whoever edited/mixed this deserves infinite ice cream cones. This is awesome.
meterspecialist the guy who does these always does a great job. Idk if it's a different person but every live session people say the same compliment it's great
Idk I feel like the hi hat is up way too loud
other than that it's pretty good right
@@aidandammit i like it...it sounds like Tacocat's tambourine.
Aidan Evans infinite ice creams minus a few for the high hat
One of the best lives I’ve ever seen. To bad this band and sound don’t exist anymore.
I love this song because of this small but profound experience: While on tour with my band in Portland ME, on new years eve, I left and went out by myself to buy drugs. I was a serious drug addict back then and was totally miserable! But while I was by myself I had this band in my headphones as I drove through the outskirts of portland Maine. Something about being by myself for the first time in awhile... just a great memory
6:40 the transition to the quiet "i can't sleep at night" is brilliant and got stuck in my mind for weeks. This performance of the song was the first time i heard Now, Now and i instantly became a fan.
DID THEY JUST PLAY THREADS WHOLE?
I'm dead
I am in love with this band. I love these folks and Warpaint.
Been waiting for this to get posted, love this band
Doesn't seem like they're a band anymore. Haven't heard any news in over a year about them and Jess and Cacie don't even follow each other on Twitter now
naturallythe1 yeah they've been split up for awhile, jess started a new band named Tancred, they have a KCRW session which is pretty sweet.
Tancred is alright but it's a bit too pop for my taste...I like pop punk, but Tancred reminds me of something Avril Lavigne used to put out
agreed, could not sink my teeth into it like now, now.
himynameisben95 i
This is so nostalgic to watch. Takes me right back.
April 6th, 2019 checking in
Crazy to think that I first saw them open for FUN. in June 2012 and I still occasionally come back to listen to their music
I love this band so much!! It's been a dream to watch them live
they're so stunning, i hope their next record comes out soon because it's been a while
I remember download their Audiotree Live and put it on my blackberry, and watch it thousand times before I go to sleep. Now I feel nostalgic watching it back in 2020.
Love Now, Now. I'm so glad they're still doing the damn thing.
One of my all time favorites!
I also love winter. I always get excited when I met others who are also down with real snow and coldness like all day long.
Uhuh! 😉
Guys guys for real. Each time i listen to Threads i come here and play this amazing audio and film session again. Such a great work by both Now now and the Audiotree team! Thank you guys so so much
I miss the old now now
Then Then?
@@whypothetical nice one lol
Same
Me too! =/
True,to bad :( .....they grown up now with a new sytle
The transition from wolf to prehistoric makes me want to live a new life
Lol aw Jess getting all shy when she does her seagull talk haha
This is years too late but this is one of the most amazing sounding audiotree sessions I’ve ever heard! Awesome band that i never got to see live, but man is this amazing. All the feels 😀
Chris Keays I got to see them play live in Nashville and I met the two girls after the show. It was amazing.
@@mykep28 lucky!
I enjoyed this so much. 🙌
Im not tired of coming here to listen this session while working.....beautifull music
I hope these guys are still active. I love them.
They sound so good. Damn. Glad I found this band.
Love this host! Best questions and attitude towards the bands at Audiotree.
*NOW, NOW* is my favorite band. They're so goood!
Very, very impressive performance. Thank You so much for uploading this excellent session.
Second song is so awesome. Has that post rock vibe. Excellent video! 💚
such a lovely band. such nice work audiotree, thx.
2021 i find it again... sometimes you forgot even the name of the good bands
this sounds absolutely fantastic
This band is amazing...Been a fan for years! Cant wait to hear the new record. Thank you for postings this=)
Will there be a new Record? :O
I would love it but i think they split up :(
They're writing a new record right now, have been for a while. They never split up but they have been inactive for a while
there's no concrete information they are actively writing a record.... sorry to burst your bubble

Even though that was posted a year ago I really hope they are still committing to it! Their FB page has just been Tancred updates over the past year, but I guess I was wrong. Let's hope they release some updates/samples/something sometime soon
Aww man, I actually discovered Now, Now through RUclips and this session is LIFE.
Now, now I'm in love 😍😍😍
What a banda 🎶💓
beautiful concert🥇
Brilliant young people. Fabulous...
KC and Jess, name a more iconic duo, I'll wait.
Loved every bit
Waiting to see them live for the last time in 9days!
Does anyone know if this host does anything else these days? I'd love to see him in something else. Seriously was such a big part of my enjoyment of audiotree, great questions and always made a nourishing environment to facilitate open discussion
I love this band so much.
When I first discovered Audiotree... and I haven't looked back since (tho' I have lost many hours of sleep).
Aweh - Shot for the full session!
Sweet nostalgia.
The fact that in a subtle way the drum throne plays an A note at the very beggining... it amazes me.
This album is so special.
Prehistoric means something entirely different at this point than what it meant to us years ago.
Wow, just discovered it today. This music and band is really amazing. Full of melody and power at the same time. Alternative (Guitar-)Music as it should be. I know that they now look and sound different, but I like this sound way more 😊 Love to all you good-music-lovers and good luck to Audiotree, this show is good to getting to know artists, thank you
I saw them open for Minus the Bear and Circa Survive. It was their first show, I remember them saying that. They were great then and they are great Now, Meow!
God the nostalgia feels :'( this album, man.
Thanks Audiotree
The definitive version of Now Now
this got me thru alot since it came out
had this on while gaming, its actually pretty sick, thanks audiotree and Now, Now :)
Super sweet tunes
Brad missed an excellent punnn
A^ - "Earliest musical memory!"
Bradley - "Play-Doh, that was my instrument..."
A^ - "oh wow"
Bradley - "Yeah, I played on Doh's like drums"
..................
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
YEESSSS NOW NOW!!
ok, i know it has been 5 years, but, god, my heart just started to beat twice faster. i need to know who's that angelic girl with that white Fender
Jess Abbott, She has her own band now, Tancred
saw them open for Minus The Bear years ago, and been hooked ever since
Take a hit from the bong every time he says “Now Now in the studio!”
what is this genre of music? and does anyone know of music that sounds like the old Now, Now?
They’ve created such an original sound I don’t even know any other bands that sound like them-
Sorry this wasn’t helpful but meh I felt like replying
Beautiful Band
Feels like I am back in high school.
Whereverr Jess, is I want her to know I lover her. Favorite member
Beautiful concert. Greetings from Europe
Exelente el estilo de la banda, audiotree
