Even before I get upgrade to a V plow I never saw them offer this one in a 7 1/2 ft option. If they ate it would still most likely be a pretty heavy plow. I have a half ton truck and recently acquired a pretty much brand new EZ-V 7'6" v-plow. It is almost 300 lb lighter than my old 7'6" straight blade. Regardless of what make plow you go with in my opinion having a V plow gives you so many advantages over a straight blade. My time spent at the larger properties has nearly been cut in half since I upgraded. I did add the back drag kit that Fisher sells for it and it hardly leaves anything behind despite not having down pressure.
The XV2 delivers outstanding performance while getting you smoothly over hidden obstacles - in all blade configurations - without losing your load. It’s a new standard in v-plow performance.
Anything from Douglas Dynamics is better than a Boss. Used Western, Snowex , Snoway and have a Boss as a lot plow now and it's the biggest piece of crap I have ever used , cant stack snow with it at all and takes forever to remove from truck . Wiring harness is crap as well.
This company should make plows for medium and heavy duty trucks too
The plows look like they are built very well
Thanks for sharing the video!
