Stanley, I am 75 years old living in Florida and I thoroughly enjoyed your snow plowing videos. You had me totally convinced that I needed a new Snowdogg, but no one down here sells them! Best wishes for your continued success!
Stan, you may just need this for future reference, also!! Copy and save it somewhere, it may just give you a little edge in helping someone to understand, or even win an argument, if you know what I mean!
Hi Stan, i am a landscaper from Canada. I have run Westerns, Fishers and for 3 winters i have been running a snow dogg extension winged plow. From what i have noticed it has more negatives than positives. NEGATIVE: when in transport mode it constantly bounces, the mounts on the truck itself are really low and scrape when going up steep inclines or driveways. The jack method to unhook takes more time and precision then any other mounts: minute mount, smart hitch, or boss. The adjustable lights always seem to need adjustment: either aim to high or to low. The only pros i see is the build quality. Really massive metal throughout and a good backdrag blade. To be honest i would prefer a western or fisher again. It is on a 2009 ram 2500 6.7 diesel. Thank you for your awesome videos.
@@meadowviewlawncarellc8079 yeah my kubota dealer gave up selling snow ex and blizzards due because its to exspensive on parts wich he didnt want customers spending money replacing parts every time wich he saving money wich is a great kubota dealer only plows he carrys is HLA and plows and wings for dump trucks and spreaders
Hello Stanley, do you have a personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? The Son of God. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9. And please ask the Lord Jesus to bless you with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. And please ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you for all of your sins and transgressions.
Been using a 7.5 ft straight blade Western Snow Plow in Alaska since 1984, got a replacement for the older one in 2009. I have cleared a medium sized parking lot that had 62 inches of wet heavy snow on it. That was a challenge , but no problems. This was with my 2010 F-350 4x4 V-10. One of six trucks that were able to work in our community the next day.
We bought one last year, after 9 years of not doing snow we got back into it. We went with the snowdogg over a western because of money and someone recommended it. Hand control is great, I agree, it comes standard with the top flaps and a cutting edge (all extra on a western). The first few falls we kept having issues with it, hydraulic fluid leaks, line bursts, even the entire light bar split off the rest of the plow and had to be re welded on. The worst part it takes at least 30 mins to out the plow on. The lights are horrible too. This year we have only had 1 issue with it, it was the ground on the battery burned out and needed replacement. We bought 2 westerns this year for our new trucks and the only 2 advantages is the controller and the back dragging. That being said we didn't purchase the cutting edge for the westerns, not sure why we didn't.
Reoccurring problems encountered with snowdogg plows.. lights snap off, cheap hydro rams leak(right from factory), controller bad out of box, deflectors break. Saying that, I have 5 snowdogg plows and they are quality units-one has NEVER quit on a job site. Just got to iron out the small issues^^^ after you first buy one. Tips: buy extra controller and extra angle ram(you can always sell em later)
I also prefer a chain to raise the plow. My dad had the same Western plow for 20 years on his 75 f100. When he sold it still had the original cables and the pump had never been opened up on it. Not bad for a 20 yr old plow. When I bought my 96 Silverado it came with a snow way plow with a hydraulic ram that raised it. Hated it every time I went to town I had to raise it 6 7 times as it kept going down. The following summer I switched to a western pump with a chain and cable operated for the plow. Never had a problem again with it. As for me I would take a old school western any day but to each their own.
Hey Stan, thanks for sharing your experiences with us !! SnowDogg is owned by Buyers which is not by any means a small company ! Buyers own SAM and SAM offers oem-like parts for almost every plow brands at a fraction of the price. Buyers is a gigantic corporation ! The first generation of SnowDoggs were half-assed and comparable to second tier plow brands like Meyer, Arctic or Sno-Way. But sincerely, for the last two years, I've been quite impressed with the quality and solidness of the 2nd Gen Dogg's. I'm still a Fisher guy because the Minute Mount 2 is, in my opinion, second to none. But considering the price difference and the stainless factor, I think that Snowdogg is actually the most competitive plow on the market for the moment.
Sno dog makes my favorite salter. It has a vibrator on the side...so the salt always slides down the walls and won't get stuck. It worked perfectly! !!
I feel like this needs to be revisited…nothing against the operator shown in this video…but I don’t struggle to put mine on or take it off. Less then 2 minutes to hook up.
Hey Stan! Love the videos keep me coming, I run a small wheel pay loader for snow removal and would love to see a video of TLB/small wheel loader/ skid steer pusher tips and tricks, loved seeing some tips scattered through some of the videos but would love a dedicated video to “specialty snow pushing equipment” not just pickup truck plows! Thanks a bunch for the content love seeing everything you guys do!
Great video, can't wait to see next year update on how it held up.. I just bought one myself for my first year of plowing, but one problem NO SNOW yet this year... Any ways a little FYI snowdogg is made by BUYERS, which has been selling aftermarket snowplow, sanded etc. Parts for years a very large company ... You think with selling all the aftermarket parts for Fisher, western, boss ,etc they should know what breaks what fails and how to fix it... I worked in a warehouse for years selling BUYERS (snowdogg) parts and plows wholesale, and your right many new updates almost every year... also not sure if it's family owned but who cares,lol... keep up on the helpful videos, and ill keep watching. Thanks
Love my Snowex power plow (and love the down pressure that installed on it- it sure seems to cut down when you need it to), and compliments my boss drag pro in situations where things are packed down. Down pressure for the win
Greetings from Bemidji, MN Stan. Just had a snowdogg V installed on my F150 and it is a BEAST! Imagine you're down in and around the cities area but also thank you for the in depth look at the plows. Keep the videos coming! Subbed.
Hey Stanley, watched all your videos on the Snow Dog Plow. I bought one put it on my Dodge. Only problem is I'm a man. I like hunting , fishing, that mount super super sucks! It doesnt come off, only 8 inches of ground clearance!, I cant clear a standing can of WD 40!, I'm so pissed. Please look into Snow Ex I feel they lead the industry and always show clearances in your videos. I would love to see some springtime videos, you drive down a muddy road with ruts or go over some rocks. I bet that mount wont be straight!
The clearance on that mount does look terrible. I'd have stress tested my seat belt multiple times or eaten my steering wheel multiple times if I had that on my truck.
Brown dialectic. I use it almost daily on outdoor low voltage connectors to lube the fittings and prevent corrosion. Also keeps water out of the connection for the most part. I had never heard of the BROWN grease. I just found it on Amazon and ordered some made by Truck-Lite. Thanks for the info. Always learning something and I’m even watching from So Cal. Not much snow where I’m at!
The way that attaches to the truck is horrible, antiquated even compared to the Fisher MM1's which I honestly don't mind but the Fisher MM2 is light-years ahead of Snowdogg. And about hydraulic lift cylinder failure and getting stuck, just take your Fisher into a stacking position in a snowbank and use the highway safety chain to keep plow chained up and drive away with plenty of ground clearance. Fisher put a nice little notch in the headgear for laying the chain into to attach.
I have a Snowdogg VMD plow on my truck and it's the biggest pain to get on! Need to have it perfectly lined up and perfect height to get it on. Couldn't get it on last night, just gave up. Will try again tonight. It's very tough getting it on when you aren't on a nice smooth paved surface, my driveway is full of snow and is gravel which makes it very tough. The plow works well when I can actually get it on and I am able to really stack the banks. I have 8 foot tall banks around my driveway now.
I purchased 5 of them with the intention of buying another 15 for my fleet. I can honestly say I will not buy another snowdogg. Parts are literally falling off. Also, I know this is a thread about their plows, but I purchased 5 of their salters as well, and I'll be putting them in the auction in October.
Awesome video I love the content on your channel very cool to watch all the different episodes that you put on here about snowplowing in general maintenance and how to run a business I know you don’t want a lot of fishers plows out where you are but a lot of us out here in New England run Fisher there a Maine company I know you know that.. But the minute mount two is the way to go a lot less moving parts hooks up way faster
Snowdogg is good for a homeowner that does his driveway and a friend or two. Fisher is a commercial grade plow that you can depend on in all conditions. I'm located in New England and most people use fisher because they are made in Maine
Thanks for the video!! That hitch system would drive me to insanity. My MM2 on my fishers are IMO the best. I could have hooked and un-hooked my fisher like 20+ times in the time it took to just unhook that Dogg. Sorry, but as a more "seasoned" "older boned" vet in the business, that would be a deal killer for sure, especially doing it myself.
Planning on getting going on plowing snow next winter saw the video of comparing snow plows you had. I was thinking about boss or western but now snowdogg is on the front burner. The bite looks good. Ease of hooking up is nice but having something that performs great is better. Id rather spend all day hooking up a plow that works good vs take five minutes hooking a plow that leaves snow on the ground.
I must say that the quality of Snow Dogg products has improved immensely. But when it comes to ease of hooking and unhooking a plow, Western ultra mount 2 is by far the best system.
I have 12 Western ultramount 2 plows and they are fantastic and certainly some of the easiest to take on and off .... but last season I got a boss plow and that thing is super easy to take on and off solo.
New Brunswick Canada here, we are having the same winter, nothing for snow. Need a video on how to stay in business when you have no income from plowing.
I noticed you have a 2500 ram I also have a 2500 2014 model and ordered a vxf8511 the literature says the plow is to heavy for my truck the sales people say it is fine, did you have to do any suspention prep on your truck to put the plow on because the spec say they are about 200 pound heavier than the Boss or Hiniker.
Nice plow but watching the on/off I can tell I’d be extremely aggravated. Add freezing temps/snow/wind etc and it’ll really be aggravating lol I do like the controller. That does look more intuitive, the speed of the plow looks good also.
First season plowing period. Ran crews for shovlers and snow blowers in Massachusetts and made some good money. Now it's time to step my game up. Just got a Boss DXT 8'2" V stainless steel plow on a 2018 Ram 2500 6.2 liter hemi. Now my issue is trying to figure out how to price Residential and Commercial properties in Northern NH (White Mountain region). Any tips would be much appreciated. Per SQ/FT? Hourly? There is a company in Massachusetts that I worked with, the owner gave me some tips a while back but it was all gibberish back then. Under 2" X per square foot, over 2" under 4" X, etc. Thanks everyone. Great video.
Looking for input...I just had a 2019 VXFII installed today on my 3/4 ton and I wasnt pleased with how high (or not high) it lifts up. I already had several scrapes with reentry to public way from lots and its annoying. I was able to chain it up higher but then it didnt seem to want to go all the way down. ?? Anyway I reset it until I find good info..
The plow frame sets really low on the truck like really low. Stan try a fisher but fisher & western is the same plow. Wonder if snow dog now is made by boss.
My limited plow experience was a 7.5 foot western I think on a 4.3 Chevy half ton in larger snows. It was miserable. Not enough truck. Spent much time in a bobcat pushing back... And much time with a welder cause it was old and. Rocky rough roads it was about 8 hours per event... But countless hours doing worse roads with farm equipment. Including pushing out after the plow jockeys can't hack it. I did one drift in 10 minutes that was hard and heavy that had defeated multiple v blades the 65 horse 2wd tractor beat it easy, that being said. If I was in your shoes id consider euro speced (high road gears( 35 mph )front 3pt etc) 100 horse tractors for snow work for visibility with a large front blade and gnues box on the back for stacking and box work. Quickly becoming my 2nd favorite channel. My friends at welker farms will always be number 1.
Another topic in your next plowing video, talk about some plow etiquette. If you have an expanding plow don’t drive around with the wings out to 10’. Drive with your plow angled to slim your truck profile.
I have a Snowdogg Straight plow on my truck hated it plows seems to light duty bounced around a lot you can not back drag with it . The guard across the top of the plow is made from plastic broke off first time I used it so far my favorite has been Boss plows
My snow dog plow blade keeps getting stuck when I put it down to start clearing snow. It goes down but won’t come up. What could cause that, maybe hydraulic fluid but I think it’s the pins in the connector cause it works sometimes till I start having to make a lot of movement. Help please any advise/insight would be greatly appreciated!
Snow Dogg is a great plow for the price range. You should find a dealer that actually knows about the products they install. So may things not correct or left out in their demo. Also your new plow is missing the updates. But love the plow I ran one five years now.
It’ll work great for the first season then after that it will be a pain in the ass. We have ran three. Our v-plow was awful. Then we had a straight blade for about 4 years but every year we had to work on it then replaced it with a new straight blade and the plow mounts snapped as we were driving
The issue with snow dog the frame is way too low maybe 6” I don’t think that plow unit will hold up to commercial use. Maybe you can do a update in the spring. Thanks
We use the castle brand silicone dielectric compound its a little red spray can its quicker less messy and it DOES NOT FREEZE! Which the gel style grease does and causes problems
so if the cylinder fails and you have no tools on you what are you lifting it with to chain it. an what are you chaining it too? im pretty sure the chaining it to answer is just using the closer to blade chain links still how is the plow blade it self being lifted with out a cylinder
Seems like a fairly decent plow. A few things though..The mounting and dismounting is kind of primitive. Physically pushing the head gear up, is like an old school Boss. And why are there kickstands? In V, it should sit fine on it's own. I just bought the SnowEx v. I'm going to shoot a vid of it tomorrow to compare. I'll post it tomorrow evening
Thanks for this video. Considering this plow is $4000 less than the boss equivalent V-plow, I guess I'll order this one even if the mount system is a tad more challenging.
Wondering how that held up. Looking and a new truck and plow this season. Just limping along my old ones. I have a snowdogg vx, and a VUT for my rtv, VUT definitely didn't hold up to the commercial use. Got a company locally that wants to deal snowdoggs and not sure if they will hold up. Probably go with them just for the service are.
Absolutely agree with the shoes, never use them, unless maybe on gravel if your intending to leave 1/4-1/2 inch of snow so you don't dig up piles of gravel
What's the best personal use, straight blade, plow out there for a full-sized truck? If I get a snow plow for my truck, it will probably sit in storage 355-360 days a year, so I don't want to spend big money on one.
Awesome video I love the content on your channel very cool to watch all the different episodes that you put on here about snowplowing in general maintenance and how to run a business I know you don’t want a lot of fishers plows out where you are but a lot of us out here in New England run Fisher there a Maine company I know you know that.. But the minute mount to is leaps and bounds ahead of hooking up to a truck compared to that way way too many moving parts way too many lovers way too many pins I don’t know I’m in Fisher for me works
I mount and Un mount mine all this winter. The first time was scary. After that it’s peasy. If you are running more plows with different brands. Then I would see why it’s hard(remembering each process). But if you are used to it. I hook up and unhook on the fly all the time.
Western dielectric grease (bought in 2017). Both blades are made by Douglas dynamics as well as Fisher so the cutting edges are the same in design. I do not know if Dogg makes their own cutting edges so run it in the real world and lets see how they do. I know western cutting edges SUCK I will be upgrading soon. I’m not a fan of Salt Dogg bad luck with several spreaders a few years ago so I can’t risk the coin on their plows at this time but I’m with you on the controller it looks awesome!
You should really look at a SnowEx HDV Blade or SnowEx Power Plow if you want to see a well built blade that is super easy to attach/detach. Made by Douglas Dynamics who also build Fisher and Western. Been using them for 3 years now without issue.
people don't put a price on having a pain in the ass mounting system like this one. but my western ultramount 2 is sooo easy i'll unhook it even if im going 20 miles and have to hook it back up again. the wear and tear i save on the front end of my truck is just more $$$ in my pocket in both repairs expenses and down time. i can have my plow on or off in 1 1/2 minutes on a slow snowy blizzard day.
Hey Stan, i just watched a video by Odell Complete Concrete on a product by Quikrete called Quikwall. It's a mortar-less fiber reinforced cement mix. I know you guys don't do a lot of concrete or cement videos but thought it was interesting for anyone in that business
I'm up in Northern MN. Possibly getting a Snow Dogg 1/2 ton V plow.. I would get a good deal on it from a dealership I'm buying a truck from. Plow is not on the truck yet. Are they sturdy plows? Thanks.
I just bought mine. Haven’t had any time with it. But so far it seems great! Bought it second hand from someone who used it commercially, and it looks really tough based on use.
I only use shoe's on one of the driveways I. It's a weird blend of crush stone, asphalt & black, never seen anything quite like it. Don't want to tear it up. After that driveway the shoes come off for the rest.
Eck corrosion prevention can be used as dielectric grease. A bit pricey but good stuff. Use it at work as dielectric grease, anti seize, corrosion prevention.
Shawn Montgomery...silicone paste-dielectric grease is still a great material, and can usually be found at a cheaper price, than most of the pricey industrial stuff! And usually does as good, or better of a job. www.w8ji.com/dielectric_grease_vs_conductive_grease.htm
I sold all my Boss plows and upgraded to Snow Doggies. We run 6 Snow Doggs here in Montana and once everyone is proficient we save time over the Bosses.
Great video I like the controller it looks like the Storksplows one that's easier to use than the Fisher and Western ones. You have to try a Fisher MM2 Talk about fast and easy to put on and off.
Using fisher plow brands for 30 years . You can beat the hell out of it (Obviously when plow is older lol) Canada 🇨🇦 mlt winters are brutal. Be safe everyone
What's your 2 Best pro's and 2 Best con's about this set up? My two issues with my snow dogg are lift speed, and how low the mount sits making the approach angle too low. We scrape a lot more than I'd like to on the frame. Love the controller, stainless blade, and obviously price.
I havent worked with the snowdog system, or any other, but that looks like a pain in the ass for hooking up, and disconnecting.. I could have my fathers fisher 8' HD straight blade with MM2 off in less than 3 minutes... that includes putting blocking underneath the blade (so it wont freeze to the driveway/road). it was a great system the hydraulics are fast, and responsive. the blade was heavy duty, and would scrape to bare pavement as long as teh pins were setup correctly to the height of the vehicle.
Stan please try out a fisher the mounting is so much better then anything fully mechanical easy to do easy to use controller is awesome and simple. I've used boss Myers snowway and this one beats them all by far
Stan what’s the secret? At least in your videos you make snow seem so fun and easy. I’m going on my 5th year so I know I still have time to learn. But what’s the key? Is it about quantity? I feel like I’m so busy rushing to get to the next property to avoid customers pressuring me that I can’t even enjoy snow removal.
Stanley, I am 75 years old living in Florida and I thoroughly enjoyed your snow plowing videos. You had me totally convinced that I needed a new Snowdogg, but no one down here sells them! Best wishes for your continued success!

Shows the girls in miami your sandcastle plow, cmon.

Thanks brother. First year and you people are already starting me off right.
Also trucklite makes a brown di electric grease it’s tyk-77 and it works really well
If Eric O says it's good stuff it's good stuff!

Whew...glad I bought a Western...
Me too
Was thinking the same thing
Why?… why is western better?.. im thinking of buying one for next season.
Me too lol
We have used the vhf on a Chevy 3500 for 5 years now and it has had no issues. It’s a great plow. I like buyers products
I love the Snow Dogg controller. The Old Diamond V had the easiest pin locking mechanism. It was a single leaver.

Hey Stan! I think it may be time to give us a longer term review on the ol snow dogg. What are your thoughts on it.
Good idea👍
Everyone I have spoke to who owns a Snowdogg plow absolutely hates them.
I've had a Snowdogg straight plow on my Polaris UTV for two seasons, works great same attachment process.
Love my Snowex power plow (and love the down pressure that installed on it- it sure seems to cut down when you need it to), and compliments my boss drag pro in situations where things are packed down. Down pressure for the win

Putting a plow on or taking it off is always easier when its nice outside. Middle of the night -20, snowing, dark, not so much.
Very true Cobra Karl!

Thank you Dan !!
Thanks for the feedback and for viewing !
I bought a snow dog ....love it ...and I work it. Thumb of Michigan
I usually hook up/disconnect my fisher in the scoop position, I find it gives a guy more room to work when hooking up.
Awesome brother truck looks swet with the plows on her enjoy plowing brother keep up the awesome work god blesss you and your family
Thanks Thomas, you too!
Thanks for the comments and best of luck in your plowing business!
So, how did it hold up? I'm in the market... just a half ton version. Like you said, Snowdogg seems to be the best vale, but also the heaviest.
Hope we all get snow soon Greg! Thanks for watching
Thank you Michael!
Why don't you do a livestream the next time you plow to show what it's like to actually run it during the storm that's an idea
And a good one!
Good idea!
That's a really good idea, I will keep that in mind !
because we dont get snow in Minnesota like we did in the past but our day is coming.
That maybe a problem since it don’t snow in Minnesota anymore haha
Looking for input...I just had a 2019 VXFII installed today on my 3/4 ton and I wasnt pleased with how high (or not high) it lifts up. I already had several scrapes with reentry to public way from lots and its annoying. I was able to chain it up higher but then it didnt seem to want to go all the way down. ?? Anyway I reset it until I find good info..
The plow frame sets really low on the truck like really low. Stan try a fisher but fisher & western is the same plow. Wonder if snow dog now is made by boss.
I like the light plows. Makes it easier for the truck.
So how do I adjust my attack angle on my snow dogg? I was hoping they would show us how
My limited plow experience was a 7.5 foot western I think on a 4.3 Chevy half ton in larger snows.
Great idea, thanks for the suggestion !
I have a Snowdogg Straight plow on my truck hated it plows seems to light duty bounced around a lot you can not back drag with it . The guard across the top of the plow is made from plastic broke off first time I used it so far my favorite has been Boss plows
Too bad this Minnesota winter hasn't been too good to get some good plowing in.
Our winter in Boise, Idaho has been fairly snowless. However the most of the state has had some.
How many plowable events do you guys average every season ?
@@jacobcrider172
8-9 but I only do it part time as a side business. This year I have only had one and it was 2 inches.
zacktexley953
Come to Wisconsin
We have plenty!!!
J Sosa do you need a sub me and a couple guys will drive some plow trucks up from Kentucky
I didn't notice a wind deflector on the top of the plow to push air into the front of the truck. Is it an option with the Snow Dog V-Plows?
It's a nice plow but it looks a bit complex to attach and remove. Especially in the snow.
Definitely not as easy as western fisher and boss.
How about how ugly that truck side frame is hanging down!? Western and fisher in my opinion really have the best hook ups and truck side frames
I agree. I could have had my Fisher MM2 on and off twice by the time he pulled the pins.
If the kid unhooking it actually knew what to do, it's much easier then he makes it look.
How do u like the snowdogg plow? In Michigan everyone says they r garbage?
Pretty much anyone with common sense knows Buyers is garbage.
Would you still recommend a Snowdogg plow? I'm between getting a snowdogg or fisher.
Thanks
Good idea Nick, thanks!
We use the castle brand silicone dielectric compound its a little red spray can its quicker less messy and it DOES NOT FREEZE! Which the gel style grease does and causes problems
I've had my snowdogg hd80ll for 2 seasons great plows the only issues have been from operator error! easy fixes!
so if the cylinder fails and you have no tools on you what are you lifting it with to chain it. an what are you chaining it too? im pretty sure the chaining it to answer is just using the closer to blade chain links still how is the plow blade it self being lifted with out a cylinder
I use Grote dialectric grease, kinda has a brown waxy look but works well.
I use the Napa silicone grease as dielectric. From what I've read, it's almost the same thing but comes in a 6-8 oz tube
Absolutely agree with the shoes, never use them, unless maybe on gravel if your intending to leave 1/4-1/2 inch of snow so you don't dig up piles of gravel
That's pretty much only time I use shoes.
But they can still dig things up if real soft ground.
Hey stan. Just wondering if you would still recommend a snowwdogg in 2024. How is it holding up. Scott from up by your cabin in northern MN.
Truck lite and grote have the brown grease , you can get it at fleetpride in Roseville
I mount and Un mount mine all this winter. The first time was scary. After that it’s peasy. If you are running more plows with different brands. Then I would see why it’s hard(remembering each process). But if you are used to it. I hook up and unhook on the fly all the time.
Trucklite has the brown di-electric grease in a pint size can.
yeah good luck finding it
love that nice ram stanley the best tough truck hard belive ours 18 years old still strong plowing truck
Thanks Michael!
Thanks David!
Thanks for the comments and for watching !
Shawn Montgomery...silicone paste-dielectric grease is still a great material, and can usually be found at a cheaper price, than most of the pricey industrial stuff! And usually does as good, or better of a job.
www.w8ji.com/dielectric_grease_vs_conductive_grease.htm
bet that kickstand freezes....dry here in maine too, been out a few times, but compared to last few years. we had several big storms
Haven't been out once here in Massachusetts, just north of RI, never seen a winter like this before, pretty crazy.
It's only 23 days into the winter season boys patience my friends.
Not much happening in Rochester either fellas, can't wait to push some snow 👍 supposed to have a storm this weekend actually, hopefully
I just subscribed. And I'm so excited!!!!!!
....sorry, my meds just kicked in.....
Thanks for the subscription! Glad to have you here
Stan, you NEED to try out a Fisher!!!
I sold all my Boss plows and upgraded to Snow Doggies. We run 6 Snow Doggs here in Montana and once everyone is proficient we save time over the Bosses.
you spelled *downgraded wrong
@@BiggusDickus2 yeah what an idiot. I'm not a Boss guy by any means.....but "upgraded"? what a joke
Great video I like the controller it looks like the Storksplows one that's easier to use than the Fisher and Western ones. You have to try a Fisher MM2 Talk about fast and easy to put on and off.
Thank you Mark!
What work boots do you recommend? I know it’s off topic but I’m in the market for a new pair.
Hey Stan any updates on how that snow Dogg is working for you buying a new plow by the end of the season and curious if it’s holding up!
Using fisher plow brands for 30 years . You can beat the hell out of it
(Obviously when plow is older lol)
Canada 🇨🇦 mlt winters are brutal.
Watching you plow those piles my xls would push them right up on curb.
You should do a video on snoway plows too
I havent worked with the snowdog system, or any other, but that looks like a pain in the ass for hooking up, and disconnecting..
I have the straight blade snowdogg and I love it,and it,s on a Ram also.
Will that hard plastic gaurd crack in cold
Stan what’s the secret? At least in your videos you make snow seem so fun and easy. I’m going on my 5th year so I know I still have time to learn. But what’s the key? Is it about quantity? I feel like I’m so busy rushing to get to the next property to avoid customers pressuring me that I can’t even enjoy snow removal.
That controller looked nuts....
Way to throw out the advantage of the chain if hydraulic cylinders go out. Great video as always very informative.
