I'm from Michigan and when the snowfall gets heavy even the widest roads eventually become single lane until they are impassable to anything but 4X4's. I have always been impressed with how well plow drivers can accurately find the edge of the road and not destroy any landscaping. This here is next level.
Looks like some roads I got caught driving in with my tractor. You eventually can plow so much until the weight of the snow encases your truck in concrete. Many times waiting for these behemoths to free me from winters grip. I really dislike getting stuck and even like backing up several miles with an articulated road in near white out conditions even less. I have a great deal of respect for those who have the balls to drive in these conditions in the mountains or in forestry roads and keep a intact unit without running over or into something else.
Prova lyft plogen och vagga den sida till sida när det börjar slira, den ser ut att gräva ner sig i vägen och du tappar all tyngd på framhjulen, Just a tips👌
i believe that a snow blower would be better in these conditions because that road will be covered to the height of those banks when the next snow comes
I’ve seen folks in similar situations getting stopped by the snow pile, sometimes dozens of times. I always come back to the thought of putting the blade only half way down, and plowing through it with assumed ease, then backing up and drop the blade all the way and do it again. Can you please tell me why that would not work? Thanks.
I think it looks like an old "Luhol 351" but without the side wings. F.W Lundholm AB Luhol förplog 351D. They made several plows of different sizes. If I am correct, it is an old Swedish military plow from the 70s. Maybe someone can confirm it or correct me.
That's actually a quite large tractor doing the work, don't let the view fool ya, and it is 4 wheel drive, the tires alone standing 5 ft tall...I'd say the snow is average 3ft deep with some places as high as 4-5ft while the piles along the roads being at least 5 feet high and above 6 in some places...not many things bigger than this tractor that might be usable for this work...
Your going to need a wing or a grader with a wing to push them banks back if you don't your going to get so deep your not have any where to go with more snow
Bad vid ! All you see is a V plow being pushed down a road , no idea as to what is pushing it ! No idea what an LH 60 is ?, but it seems to have lots of power & quite big . You need a wing so you can wing & bench the snow banks back
@@micke20 Oh yes there is. The Liebherr LH 60 is a German machine for waste/industrial handling. There are models like, LH 60M = rubber wheels LH 60C = caterpillar tracks 😎👍

I really enjoy seeing you maintain the roads into this wind farm. The snow drifts are amazing!!
Thank you very much!
It's always amazing how they always plow it back to the way the wind blows it
What is amazing about that?
How would you do it? Can’t wait to hear your answer.
With the plow he is using that is the drawback. Use a wide straight angled blade with wings to clear that type of road
One other way to stop snow in the road would be to blade parallel on the wind side to catch the snow before it gets to the road !
Great video, a couple of times I thought they were not going to find you untill spring.

Looks liek you need a snow Blower attachment for this deep stuff

I love long push loader snow plowing
Should have had a Unimog with a snowblower, no stopping and backing.
Awesome. Thank you sir.
Most welcome! Happy you enjoy it🙌🏻
To most making comments....there's an old saying....best to keep quiet, and let people THINK your stupid , then to speak and let them KNOW your
I think it’s quite obvious that most people making comments on here on how they think this should be done have no idea what they’re talking about.
I'd like to see a screen in screen video with the smaller one showing the difference behind you as you go. Just a suggestion.
Thats a great idea! Thank you!!
My god,,,, you would be till spring using a snowblower
I really enjoy watching these videos ✌️ have you ever thought to put a camera showing background, the plown way 😊
Yes I have but have not tested it yet! Thank you for watching!
Great!!

Thats why we need to "Cut" down the snow banks using a wing.
Me and my snowmobile were crying for snow like this this year! Had thee worst snow yr ever!
That sucks... Hope you get a better winter next year!
gonna need to bring the l90 next time. and then a blower after that.
Looks fun but a big snowblower on that loader would be better and only need one pass.
If you didn’t have those fans blowing all the time it would be a much easier job!😂
Is that a rear-tracked vehicle?
Y'know, the roads wouldnt get so drifted in if you guys would just turn off the fans.
Awesome video but why no diff lock would have helped a bit

if you leave too much snow on road you will lose traction
That Volvo is electric powered I take it
Grader with wing and chains.
Curious , who is the manufacturer of the plow you are using ? I did not see it listed in the show notes . Kind Regards

@@Johnballong Thank You .
You are correct!
@@PlowAndGrow Thank You , for Confirming .
It looks like you could use a vee plow to get thir all of that snow
Maybe it's just the American in me but maybe next year you should invest in a bigger more powerful plow truck?

Sounds electric too!
just show how much a waste of money those windmills are
where are you chains, you need them in the back woods., you should have a wing also fitted to that beast.
in those conditions those special winter tires have more than enough grip
You probably should use chains on wheels then you wouldn't be slipping hitting those snowdrifts.
Hoppsan. det ligger mycket snö på vägen som ska plogas.
To little to do the work, L90 and up.
А К-701 КИРОВЕЦ, за один замес бы всё почистил.
Тут же слышно, что мощности нет. Этим тополиный пух сгонять с дорожек.
Går inte militär plog tungt å slänger sämre än förstärkt lastbil plog i sån där plogning
You really need a snow blower for this job not a snow plow...
A blower, while nice for sure, would take two to four times as long to do the job. It is just not worth it in a lot of cases.
And a blower would use 5x the fuel
Nothing like using a diesel tractor for a wind farm
What's your alternative, a wind-driven tractor?
Your going to need a wing or a grader with a wing to push them banks back if you don't your going to get so deep your not have any where to go with more snow
You are right!🙌🏻
Måste åka upp till våren och spana in brotsplatsen man var å jobba på
Det tycker jag absolut att du ska göra!
What a waste of money…

LH 60 does not exist. On the other hand, L60H is a wheelloader model from Volvo
