  • Hi. Here is a new video of a new scape in the 30 cm cube tank. This time I thought to do something a little different from my regular style so thought to make A Riparium but an advance version of what I had made previously but still keeping it relatively low tech by not injecting co2. I wanted to make the full use of the underwater part with an addition of terrestrial plants that in my. Knowledge would have done fine growing in water and they definitely did. I have not used any type of soil in this scape. Only a thin layer of cosmetic sand is used for aesthetic purpose and all the underwater plants used are epiphytes and emerged plants are just wedged between the driftwood keeping their stems totally out of water and just the roots submersed. This tank is 2 months old at its final shots in the video and it still has lots of growing to do and I will surely make an update video after this tank reaches its peak growth if everything goes well :). And yes one more thing I have shifted Mr. Betta in this tank now as his old tank was all mess and was taken apart so I thought of giving him a bigger and more lush tank. So guys do stay tuned for future update and for upcoming new scapes as well and Thank You for all your support. I hope you will like this video.

    Just came across your channel searching for paludarium/riparium info. Jaw drop - Absolutely love how you created the wood feature over the first 4 minutes. So excited to try this! OK I'm back after watching entire video - jaw drop again - this is stunning. Thanks for sharing your creation - it is inspiring and you are very talented!

      No I don’t use heater instead I need to cool the water by cooling the room via air condition as I live in hot climate

    hi im new on this hobby, im confused right now... if there only few fish, can epiphytes plants grow on our tank without filter ? is epiphytes need different nutrition? what fertilizer should i use? will bba appear if i dose phosphorus on water collumn? whats max temprature to grow them? is it need soft water?

    • @nature_scape
      @nature_scape  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, most of the epiphytes have little requirements than other plants they need moderate light plus few fishes will do to grow them and I would suggest you to use soft water for any plants and temps should not exceed 27 degrees Celsius that’s the max but I would say it’s good to keep temps between 23 to 26 for optimal growth and as far as filter is concerned it’s totally upto you… you can grow them without filter also but than what fishes you are choosing is also a point as if they are kind of fish which would need good filtration than you need to keep one. And May I know what’s the size of your tank ?
