Colonel Robin Olds was a cool guy and treated ground support people very well...
And he was the most hand sum Fighter Pilot in the history of the World.
The F-105 fleet had a 25% casualty rate in Vietnam. Thanks for your service Pilots and ground crew. Greetings from Mexico City.
Ed Ramous wrote a book about his flying in the F105. He is shown in this film as he completes his 100th mission. Later he talks about being an instructor pilot with a war injury limp. It is a great read.

My full respect for all Vietnam Vets. Thank you for your service and welcome!
My uncle Jack piloted the F4 phantom in Vietnam, as a kid I was in awe, thank you to all who've served and who serve today, it's human nature to forget quickly and I think many don't appreciate the ones who served and the many who died for our freedoms, we are overdue for a major war and it will happen sooner than later, then a whole new generation will be reminded of the sacrifices for freedom. 🇺🇸
I have worn LtCol David Hrdlickas' POW bracelet since 1985. His nephew worked with me in the Marine Corps.
God Bless you , your family and loved ones. Thank YOU for your service.
@xprettylightsx3781 you are very welcome. I loved the Marine Corps. Have a great day
The Thud was a great bomber. As a fighter it was horrible.

''American pilots in the Vietnam War, where each day feels like a relentless 25-hour battle.'' dropping bombs on civilians feels like that huh?
And you still lost 😂😂, seems America can’t beat rice farmers or goat herders 😂😂😂
We shouldn’t have been there in the first place
Who won?
There's a McDonald's, or two, in Vietnam...
I can't wash my water buffalo or eat rat cutlets in downtown D.C.
Somewhat to be $ure , but they did get to the PEACE TABLE when B-52's were unleashed with little restrictions at end of 1972
There’s a whole lot less rice farmers and goat herders now
BS! These guys WON the war in 1973. The Demonicrat Congress gave it back to their buddies in the North in 1975. The South was sold out by the American Congress AFTER the Vietnam war was WON by the military.
israel first. always israel first
As long as Israel funds itself then sure.
Conflating Israel and Vietnam why, exactly
