- Everyone loves The Enchanted Garden in Brisbane! This is the first year that this annual event held in Roma Street Parkland has had paid tickets, though. So is it worth the $7 entry fee? If you want to see one of Brisbane's top events in the Christmas season, where we get to enjoy the sub-tropical warm nights and open space, this is the video for you! I'll also share a way to make creative photographs at events like this one, using the light and a slow shutter speed.
Don't forget to subscribe for more videos like this about all things Brisbane and photography, and let me know what kind of videos you'd like to see more of on this channel.

Thanks! It was a great event, can't wait for the next one...
Great video! Can't wait fot the 'best places to live in brisbane' video!
Me neither! A lot of people are waiting for that one, so I want to do the best job I can on it.
Looked Very cool, great cinema photography. My young boys would love it. Loved your photo at the end.
Cheers! Hopefully they can open it up again in future so that everybody gets the chance to see it!
Amazing!!! Thank you so much for bringing it to us who could not get there.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Adam it’s Braeden. You meet me and couple of other photographers down in the laser part of the enchanted Garden walk. The video and photo turned out stunning. Great work mate 🤙🏼😁
Cheers! To be honest, I'm not entirely happy with the video, as it was my first time shooting with the Ninja V, and I shot too dark, so had to brighten some shots up, which really brought out the noise. I'm waiting on an order for a bracket so I can use the Ninja with my gimbal, as these handheld shots were also a little shaky, and I couldn't do some of the movements I like to just with the Smallrig hand grip.
Glad you came to comment, 'cause it meant I got to discover your channel. Nice work! Subbed. I'm jealous of the drone. You got some great footage from it (I just checked out the glasshouse mountains one - wow)!
Definitely worth the $7 😉👌❤
Great video man!
Cheers! And I agree, although knowing it used to be free still makes it hard to accept, but I guess that's just the fallout from Covid-19!
Absolutely stunning, Adam! Both your photography and the lightshow itself - such amazing work! And your still photo at the end is an award-winning showstopper! Bravo - a mighty effort.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video! Can’t wait for the ‘best places to live in brisbane’ video!
Cool. It's a pretty mammoth task putting that one together, but hopefully I'll manage to get it out soon...
The enchanted gardens looks beautiful. The colours and the lasers are amazing. You have a good eye and your photography is very good. Thank you for sharing :) We've subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! You two really get around. I remember your video on the markets here in Brissie, but just checked out your channel now - you guys are prolific!
Yes, the Enchanted Garden is a really great event each year here in Brissie. Are you staying in Brisbane for a while, or just passing through briefly?
Thank you @@BrisbaneChannel We moved back home when Covid hit Europe. Hadn't planned on staying this long but unfortunately travel has been taken away from everyone at the moment. Looking forward to exploring the world one day in the future.
I see you run a photographic tour workshop - very cool. Once things settle down we might join you :)
Sounds good! Should be able to get out and explore the world again soon...
We got stuck, cause every year we've taken our dogs, and this year we didn't see the faq section about no animals this year. :z but it looks like it was awesome this year!
Oh damn! That sucks. It wasn't bad, but I think that the pre-Covid version was much better - so much bigger than last year and this year! The projections were a great new addition, though.
Hey Adam, I was disappointed to see they were charging for it this year, but at least you got lucky with the weather!
I must admit the Possum and the parrot were a pretty cool new addition and I really liked the photo you ended up with.
I probably understand more why you like the full frame camera and the aperture effects and control you have over the filming - I can definitely see it in this video.
You gave a nice overall of the event and enjoyed watching :)
I definitely like that control, but unfortunately the footage this time was a little lacking, as I'm still getting the hang of some new equipment, and didn't have optimal settings.
@@BrisbaneChannel That's a shame - But if you brought new equipment, you have to start somewhere and I didn't notice :)
@@AquariusTraveller You can see in some places the noise is quite pronounced, because I shot too dark and had to brighten it up in post, which brings the noise out in the shadows. Should have shot brighter and darkened it down in places if needed.
@@BrisbaneChannel I didn't notice....so don't be too stressed 👍
Looks good this year, it terrible they started charging families to come and view it😞
Yes, it's really a shame. I hope they go back to free entry in future!
Willy Wonka‘s chocolate factory wow✨🌟💖👍 Avatar
I'll be going tonight to make a video of this year's one. You going to check it out this year?
@BrisbaneChannel 643 people interested in going tonight it says on FB whereas Sunday (tomorrow) says only 152 people, haha. I think we'll go tomorrow or monday to ensure it's not as busy.
@@cassiedamms1076 I think Monday would be less busy than Sunday. I went on the first night, and it was pretty busy (video out tonight).
