Today I got super Mario all stars and beat all 32 levels on the first game in a couple hours. I know it’s simple but it feels nice to beat 32 levels without skipping any
@couldntsetpass2901 lightning 4-2. It is the fastest time (fastest framerule, if you know what a framerule is) you can get on the 4-2 stage, and it's incredibly tight. It's the most difficult framerule to save in the entire game and by a large margin. You can only save time on different levels in framerules. In case you don't know, a framerule is like a bus you get to catch at the end of each state, and the busses depart every 21 frames. It doesn't matter on what frame exactly you finish the stage within those 21 frames, the actual time it will take you to go to the next level will still be the same. So, to save the most time possible, you don't actually have to go perfectly; you just have to finish within the fastest achievable framerule, like, catch the very first bus. That's why on most levels, perfection isn't required. At the moment I was wrining my original comment, in the any% world record run, all the framerules have been saved but 1. The vety last framerule of the entire Any% Run that remained unsaved was the fastest framerule on the 4-2 stage, also called "Lightning 4-2", or simply "L4-2". As of now, the world record for any%, also set by Niftsky, does incorporate the Lughtning 4-2 framerule.
A little bit of a stupid question, but what are the most major differences between the All Stars version and the org NES version? Other than the music, textures, and hitboxes.
You don't have to scroll the screen in 1-2 all the way to load the world 4 warp pipe. Also iirc breaking blocks from below has slightly different physics.

as long as you hit the powerup block right before the flagpole, mario will snap to the right of the flagpole. this is only exclusive to the japanese version of all-stars
On what computer do you play? Thought i saw lag in 1-2 second round under the 1up in the roof and 8-4 first run going in to water pipe. gonna download this video and play it again to be shore it is not youtube fucking with my browser. Great jobb and ceep it up!
