- Here’s my recipe that I competed and secured 2nd Runner Up at World’s Brewers Cup 2022, but it is not for you.
Why can't we have a one-size-fits-all approach to coffee? There are many different variables that influence coffee extraction and brewing, such as the environment, processing method, coffee varietals, choice of equipment, and more. These factors can significantly impact the final cup experience, making coffee brewing a fun and exploratory process.
One of the biggest challenges is adapting to different humidity levels while brewing the same coffee. However, this also adds to the fun and experimentation of coffee calibration.

thank you for sharing your thoughts, these videos are very helpful!
Would love a video / infographic on what variables to change to impact flavour!
Great suggestion!
Okay I think I can join brewer’s cup tomorrow (/s 😹) thanks for this video 😻 it was so helpful and entertaining to watch ✨
Hey Elysia! Could you clue us in as to why you use the M instead of the S size drippers?
Thanks! Can u explain your thought process on how to select water ppm, pouring pattern for each coffee?❤
Thats a great content idea. We would definitely explore that.
Can i safely say that the brittleness is also contributed by the roast level of the beans?
Something like, more brittle (soft) then can try coarser than usual vs less brittle (hard) can approach with a finer grind setting.
😬
I probably wouldnt use the word soft to describe something brittle.
Easier to break them into pieces? So more brittle coffees, i will use coarser grind size.
Gurl I got scared for a sec when you used 32 clicks but then it’s Melbourne so.. there could be huge difference there 👀 (btw I’m just “nearby” 🇵🇭😸)
Anything is possible!
Wait, did you eat that coffee bean?
May i know total brew time when u use 32 clik on mk4?
Approx 2m15sec but this is because i am doing 3 brews at one time.
