I'm in the US, and I've used a broker for home/auto insurance for a number of years, so I felt comfortable using a Spanish health insurance broker as well. I had a good experience with my Spanish Broker AND I was able to pay for my first year of insurance with a credit card (more miles baby!). I would say I had a good experience with a broker, but more info is always a goog thing. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your video. Although the video is a bit promotional, it is very helpful The insurance works and I got it in 2 clicks, instead of waiting for a week. Then got my visa. The website is a bit too simple for insurance companies, especially compared to the German version. And by the way, we will be living in Ourense soon :)
This was incredibly helpful. I’m now a fan and am so thankful that your videos are well researched and explore all the relevant topics. My wife and I are planning to retire to Madrid in about 6 years and thanks to you we discovered the NLV visa. Keep those videos coming!
Yeah honestly when I heard the guy say you could go monthly and cancel any time, I thought this guy was giving out bad info. Made me stop watching this video. Loving your other videos though!
That’s a great question. We’re going to reach out to Feather and ask. When we looked at NLV requirements on the Spanish consulate website, it doesn’t explicitly say to pre-pay for it.
Hey! Expat health insurance is a valid health insurance for up to 5 years and exceeds the requirement of having health insurance for a full year. Feather expat health insurance can be canceled and paid for on a monthly basis. Although this might be different and more flexible compared to other providers it still fulfills the requirements.

This is very helpful, thanks for sharing. You two look like you’re having a great time in Spain.
We are! Thanks so much.
Actually, I found this pretty helpful. Nice to know that there's a straightforward option that satisfies NLV requirements.
Hey David. Glad this helped. It’s a confusing process so we wanted to show an easier option if people are interested. Thanks for watching!

Does it cover addiction to watching videos about things you will never do????? Thanks for my Saturday morning dose of imagineering 🙂
Hahaha! Maybe…. 😂😂
Don't the NLV requirements want to see a year long contract?
Yeah, am I missing something? Our research has shown that you MUST show proof of coverage for a year. How does paying monthly satisfy the term?

Thank you so much for this information! This aspect of the move to Spain was so daunting to me, now I am not feeling so apprehensive about healthcare.

Thank you guys for this!! It does not solve my specific problem, pre-existing conditions, but it was very helpful.
