5:37 That explains so many of the voice lines! Think about it, I always thought it was weird how so many characters say "I go" or "I move" when they move. That's a weird thing to say... unless you're confirming the orders that someone just gave you. Some characters even acknowledge that you're giving them orders. For example Anti-Mage says "as thou will it," Kunkka says "by your compass," Storm Spirit, Shadow Shaman, and Ancient Apparition say "the spirit moves me" -- that spirit is YOU.
When storm says "the spirit moves me" he means the spirit of the storm whicb is basically what he represents. And when aa says "the spirit moves me" he means the spirit of kaldr cz aa is the image of kaldr
they'll probably do something like they did on TF2 where they introduced a 3rd faction in Mann vs Machine tho in this case they'll probably not do a a co-op with radiant and dire
The color theory stuff is super interesting but I don't agree with the third ancient part, which is IMO a wrong conclusion. I believe that the Nether Reaches and the Underworld are naturally occuring regions or geological phenomenons and not the result of the influence of any Ancient. What happened to Outworld Devourer, in my opinion... when the Mad Moon tore asunder, nearly all fragments of it fell down to the Earth, but...! A few were sent flying into space, one of which reached OD's planet, a lone shard of Radiant ore. Left uncontested, it was free to do its bidding and completely corrupt the planet, growing free, to finally reach its final form. This is why OD's capabilities are SO tied into intelligence, and why they're all about absorbing more and more and more of it. I would also like the make the case that the agility/neongreen stuff is what would happen if either ancient was left alone to do its bidding; it's the raw manifestation of pure power, no matter where it comes from.
More like just an artistic technique they learned at school:light blue represents peace, holy, good while red is a strong color that represent desire, anger also developing things is hard af so they recycle alot of things
205teddy and that what made him weaker, it's like a punishment from god because letting diruuth and radirulth (or whatever) free. Before that happen he is actually OP af, he even made and shaped the earth and other planet
After having watched the Lorgasm for ES Arcana, wonder if anyone had the same thought that Outworld Devourer might be the Pittlord of the sister earth? Food for though
what if in the sister earth, their version of Pittlord (the guardian of the underworld) was the survivor of their world's destruction and became what we now as outworld devourer on this earth? doesn't that sound plausible? :D
this is actually really good, but i feel like purple is more the uknown about specifically time and space, like different dimensions and black holes, and time like faceless.
SirActionSlacks i cant believe you actually responded!!! You are my idol!!! also i live in Colorado. Also i see what you mean with riki and ta. Maybe invisibility is a dimension.
but invis can be a part of time and space power. basically you using this "purple" power to change space around you and make your hero not reflect sun's rays. Smoke item also changes space around it and dust changes it other way around!
I was about to mention Bounty Hunter, but the poof effect of his invisibility makes me think it's not created by magic or powers of the unknown, but with some kind of handcrafted powder. Since BH is all about the bling (hence his yellow skin), he probably used his riches to either develop it, or have someone make it.
Please continue this series slacks, also i won a game with techies the other day and it brought back memories of your old techies video, i even did my own version of "The trail of tears" using land mines, that automatically killed the creeps trying to push our t3s, you are awesome man and i love this video, and look forward to the new series.
Good day to you, SirActionSlacks. As much as I like the video itself, I disagree with quite a lot of the things that were said in in. 4:00 - While this might be true, I think the Ancients and Zet itself, have (or have had) a physical representaion of themselves. The reason why Zet managed to jail them inside the rock is due to the fact that it overwhelmed them both, but as a consequence, it lost almost all of power. It used the remainder of what was left of its strength to watch over the Mad Moon, but its powers were low, and as such, after aeons have passed, the Mad Moon started to crack open from the inside due to the Ancients still warring with each other on the inside. Zet was fractured by the explosion and the radiation from the Ancients, but it gathered a small part of its form back, connected by its conscienceness (the blue parts with what appears to be electricity currents). 5:16 - The creeps are basically the lowest ranked soldiers of the "Ancient army", with heroes being the commanders. The reason why they aggro is because they can see somebody attacking their commander, and as such, rush to defend him from whoever dares to raise a hand on their leader. And I believe that they will not attack anything outside of the battlefield unless it's a creep or a hero fighting for the enemy Ancient. 7:16 - the runes on Nature's Prophet and Treant Protector most likely are not connected to neither Radiant nor Dire, but rather Verodicia, Goddess of the Woods. Nature's Prophet is, in fact, a plant, which Verodicia swallowed as a seed, right before she died. As she decomposed, the seed grew into Nature's Prophet, and as a result of him using Verodicia's body as a food resource, was infused with her powers. Treants might have been her creations long before she died, to watch over the woods after she is gone. 7:55 - The Oglodi's skin color is most likely a result of them living in warm uplands (Disruptor comes from Druud, the same place the centaurs live, but this isn't the case for all of the Oglodi). The natural skin color of an Oglodi is that of Warlock's, who isn't tanned because he is wearing clothes covering his entire body and him spending a lot of time studying in the Archive of the Ultimyr Academy. 13:05 - There are a few mentions in-game about Enchantress' true form, and how she isn't as benevolent and innocent as she seems at first glance. And Leshrac isn't "born", per se, he used to be a philosopher (maybe even a humanoid), but was transformed into what he is now after the revelations shown to him by the Chronoptic Crystals. Protecing anything is the least of his worries, since he "has no use for those who believe the cosmos reserves a special reward for those who practice benevolence" 14:15 - The Harbinger hasn't paid attention to the Wars of the Ancients due to the fact that he was watching out for something that was even far worse. His arrival is an omen of even worse things to come, which may include the destruction of the planet(s), solar systems or even the Universe. "The stone has reached my heart" line is most likely a pun on his stone form which his entire race partially (or even fully) made of, considering one of his lines in the game is "Hard carry? I hardly cared", which is one of the funniest lines in the game, right after Undying's numerous praises of Gummy Vitamins. 19:10 - The Nether, or Nether Reaches, is simply a giant underground complex of caves, but it appears to be imbued with magic of its own. Pugna's line "All sorceries have their source in the Nether Reaches" might hold true, considering how above ground, most of the mana is given to creatures by the Ancients, but most creatures on the Nether Reaches (except Netherdrakes, such as Viper) might have been able to generate mana and cast spells before that. Viper, as was said, doesn't cast spells, he simply uses his poison that he can easily produces in large amounts. He attempted to learn magic while he was a familiar of a mage who captured him, but learned that simply using his poison was much easier and more effective. Vrogros, the Underlord, is not from the Nether Reaches, but rather from an obsidian city called Aziyog. His color scheme is more bright green, instead of Nether Reaches' residents' acid green. The reasons why he's above ground is simple - they ran out of territories to conquer underground. Well, that's a whole lot of stuff said about an entertainer's video for a purpose of edutainment. Call me a buzzkill, an asshole, a nerd, whatever, I just wanted to make some notes about how this theory might be wrong. This text is partially subjectivem and, as such, must be taken with a grain of salt. Hope you've enjoyed the read. (P.S. My very first comment on RUclips since around 2010-2011, yay)
well some makes sense and some are not but this might be a theory that the game is not gonna end with only few heroes and game content but it might be hinting that there will be more new heroes to come or new events for the game content to release which might be the reason why the lore is kinda complex
I always found it strange that Harbinger was warning us about the Abyssal Horde, since Tresdin and The Bronze Legion defeated them. But this sheds a new light on the dangers to come.
Actually this lore is really similar to Warcraft's 3 lore, when the Sentinels (Blue) and Ogres (Red) fought, then the Scourge (Also color green.) arrived on the planet by an asteroid and started the DOTA saga.
One of the big stories to discuss; the primordial beings. They've been talked about before, (Io, Chaos Knight, KotL, and Enigma,) but it'd be interesting to watch it fit in with this theory of the Ancients. I believe you missed Death Prophet as an example of Nether properties, denied from death itself and serving now only to consume the living. What the heck IS the Omniscience? In fact, what's the total cosmic order of gods when it comes to DOTA? From the servants like Bloodseeker to the literal ones like Zeus? And finally, what does Lone Druid's story have to do with all this? Considering he's supposed to be waiting for the "End of the planet" to grow again.
JacksonJin guess youd have to wait for the next lore vid. this only introduces us to some background of the ancients so he can talk about his main point: colors
As we've seen with OD, it seems as though there may be a child of the destruction. We could look to Lone as the pre-destined last survivor,. He may even be the split mind of a guardian. Think of it this way, most of the guardians have the body of a 4 legged beast of some kind, and the upright body and arms of a seemingly more developed adaptively aware creature. Maybe, Lone even has the potential to be the inherent mind of the nether. Consider the fact that there is little to no understanding of the nether, and yet. Lone's clothes, they're green and purple. The unknown of the Nether? *Nerdy game theories, feel free to argue, but yeah.*
The theory is very interesting, and all of them are completely logical and believable. The only problem I have is that this theory contradicts a lot of my own headcanon (jk, no problem with that. I might adopt it as an alternative headcanon (by the way you misspelled headcanon)) I like the idea of radiant represents intelligence and enslavement while dire represents strength and destruction. But wouldn't Zet be more fitting for the title of the third ancient? I know they might not be green, but they are a fragment of the same mind that gave birth to radiant and dire. They're also an agility hero. Moreover, Zet is capable to create fragments of himself, the way the ancient does (lesser fragmentspark wraiththe power that seeps into the creeps || greater fragmenttempest doubletowers/barracks). Zet is also able to create a 'protective' fields, not unlike the area within the vicinity of the fountains of both team. I'd love to see more of your theory, and I have to say, your theory regarding colours and guardians is very interesting.
Fun fact because void and nullify are the same And rubick, pugna and aghanim's power are meant to negate or to erase or steal And on real life color meaning Green and purple go in perfect harmony
Really gotta respect the effort put into this series. Expected snored and bores: Instead, was thoroughly entertained from start to finish from the dedication to engage the viewer. Really enjoy this series!
Dear Slacks, some criticisms for you: 1) Video is very long. Personally I like that. I like it a lot! But this might decrease the number of views. 2) It was difficult to hear your voice by the end of the video. I feel the volume ratio between your voice and the music was not right in the last minutes. 3) I still don't understand the need of a third ancient to create 'agility'. Sure I get that yellow + blue = green. But what about red + yellow. Shouldn't dire + planet (Roo, nice name for the planet btw) create a planet too? 4) I wished there was a wrap-up section in by the end of the video. Summing up everything the key aspects of so far about the lore. 5) This is one of your best videos to date. Shared, Subscribed, liked and all that jazz! :-) The mix between information, digression and comedy was right on point! Yours Trully, Captain Broccoli at your service
3) The stones on Underlord's, Pugna's and OD's bodies, that look exactly like these from dire towers are the presence of Dire in the third ancient. It's radiant + planet + dire.
thank for the review ! 1) i thought it would be funny to have a super long lore video, the next ones will be bite sized 2) thanks will do 3)agility in essence is ability to kill. there are no other redeeming factors, its just evil and violent. thats why its born of the third anchient 4) yeah but it was already long already right? lol 5) THANKS A LOT!
3) And doesnt that mean that agillity is just "The Self" itself? Like mish-mash of Dire and Radiant. Just pure the Self or just hybrid between Dire and Radiant (sorry for english :P )
MrTrago269 the zet is like the father and dire an radiant are his children , he isnt specific to neither , he is all , the thoery slacks made is that radiant corrupts first for some reason creating the nether reaches with intelligent creatures , but then the dire comes laying waste and turning the nether reaches bad but not completly destructive they rather enslave take control , like underlord he is the under-lord they are more neutral(green) they are evil but does not wish to destroy only enslave
I think the thing that blew my mind the most was the realization that axe, disruptor and warlock are all the same race. The rest of the stuff was mind blowing as well, of course.
I really enjoyed this I just had a few questions that would be awesome if you talked about if you ever do more of this. I always hear about how ck wisp kotl and enigma are the 4 fundamental forces but ive never understood how they tie into the lore Rubick is green and i dont understand why but it might be something interesting to talk about Also I think death prophet, earth spirit, wraith king, and undying fit nicely into your description of green ppl Spectre is hella purple but idk what she has to do with the unknown maybe i just dont see it I think theres probably an interesting way that elder titan ties into this lore since he made the planet and stuff, that would be cool to hear about I also find it interesting how divine rapier is just gold, not much blue or red for infused power yet it is one of the strongest items
the theme of colors still carries on into techies various mines. blue for the stun trap - kinda magical. red for the mines that do PHYSICAL damage and green for the ones that just plain kill you.
So gold: divine, radiance, pipe, crimson guard, mkb, bkb (Arguably the strongest items ingame) Represents humanity's (the planet's) desire to get rid of either of the ancients once and for all. Like an immune system finally getting rid of the cancer. (the ancients)
2018: "Harbinger seeks a swift end to the trifling struggle between Radiant and Dire not for the sake of power, but from a sense at the edge of his consciousness that the war of the Ancients itself might serve as catalyst for the arrival of another, darker force."
Because by Slacks' knowledge, green is the Nether, which results from a combining of Radiant, Dire and the Earth (aka Roo). Therefore, the Nether is stronger than any one of its component elements.
At first I thought that DoTA is just a game. You know, just a bunch of random characters (heroes) having awesome looks and skills. Hero Biography wich was a product of a child's imagination. Some irrelevant items, that was designed during coffee breaks. But after watching this video, it all makes sense now. Damn! DoTA has a deep story behind. This changed how I see this game. Hope that they create a movie or a series for this. Awesome video btw. 👍👍
17:46 "he looks like a tower" when u are too desperate to connect the dots lololol. anyways love this loregasm series, thought TZJinzo was the only one lol
Agility gives armour, and attack speed. Defensive and offensive power.... AGILITY IS THE BEST STAT IN THE GAME!!! Most fun to play :) and most powerful :)
the 4th ancient is the Xel naga(a temple in which Is revered by the highly advanced civilization of the protoss) guarded by templar in which lanaya discovered. she was probably trained by zeratul in the ways of the dark templar on shakuras. Where she learnt psionic shield (refraction) and pisionic blades.
im watching dota dragons blood right now and sir action slack pinpoint the whoke dire and radiant stones. literally. oracle explaining everything right now
Terror blade refuses to stay in hell and escaped after doom imprisoned him into it by braking the hell commands ,he is more likely chaos knight want destruction to every realm the dire and radiant.
I hope slacks makes a new one soon. His revelations are amazing. Easily my favourite lore explanations. and he isn't afraid to say when he is just speculating. and even then his speculations are incontestable.
jotrm he was born before the came of the ancients, all he knows and can do comes from his own wit, he has a bit of yellow since it's a product of the planet, but is mostly white: his powers are not from ancients and not even the planet, are from himself, he learnt and created spells without any tool, he had no external influence, he's white because untouched by colour, he's pure
Slacks, What about the Gem of True sight? It reveals the unknown, but its green with a grey rock exterior (not black like dire ore). If green is all about the murder, then what's the story with the gem? Edit: Corrected misspelling.
The gem of true sight. The truth is that planet is dying to slowly release the green within. Therefore green! The unknown becomes known the mystery of the unknown is plain to see.
This actually taught me so much about dota, and i'm very glad of it. coz sometimes it's always better to dive deep into the game and understand it fully rather than just scratching the surface, just playing the game. Amazing theory Slacks! and im looking forward for more! :)
i think the theory works for them as well, veno is from a island we dont know much about which might be high in nether vents, wk could channel the neather to gve him his ghostly wraith powers, and necro could have some kinda nether bacteria or sickness!
Shadow fiend, shadow demon and Doom are three demons on Dire side. Three beings from the afterlife (hell) Radient side has the three spirit brothers and litteral gods. Also beings from the "afterlife" but heaven(?). Not litterally heaven or hell but similiar but atleast afterlifes of opposite sides. wraith king, necro and undying (which is also green) are all Undead beings. Beings that live on "after life". So as Dire has afterlife beings as Demons, and Radient has afterlife beings as in spirits. Perhaps the Third ancient also has afterlife beings that are neither in hell or heaven, but stuck on the earth(roo) or in other word Undead zombies. Also I thought Antimage's monk community was being attacked by an army of undead (not sure?) and in one comic Antimage and Windrunner fight an undead necromancer. So maybe there is more to come in the future as undead heroes or lore? I dont know I just thought it up, but maybe food for thought..?
Ahhhh yes yes, i see. And since i cant think of a reason for Tidehunter to be green i'm going to pretend just for the giggles that Tidehunter is green because he eats sewage from the deepest darkest depths of the ocean and it made him sick.... yes i think that will do
Daan de Groot well no doubt he protects with his ult. and i think either by default or with aghs he gives his allies reflect dmg. he also sacrifices his hp to deal dmg 1:1. and dont forget his stun! sorry if this doesnt answer your question lol.
God dammit that was really interesting stuff. No idea if it makes sense or not, but it was really interesting to listen to. Great work, Slacks, and i hope we'll see more of this soon-ish!
?
edit: slacks is the hero of our generation
Don't question mark, lol :P
Do you just comment on all popular dota channels to bring attention to your channel?
What? Mid or Meepo? and he is not asking me to subscribe to GameLeap?
Now I've seen everything. I love you.
go to GameLeap TO BOOST YOUR MMR
mId or meepo does not require such petty things? His content speaks for himself and he is damn good.
5:37
That explains so many of the voice lines!
Think about it, I always thought it was weird how so many characters say "I go" or "I move" when they move. For example Anti-Mage says "as thou will it," Kunkka says "by your compass," Storm Spirit, Shadow Shaman, and Ancient Apparition say "the spirit moves me" -- that spirit is YOU.
you just blew my mind sir.Didnt think about it till now.
bro u just gave goosebumps.
McFisticuffs yeah,Ogre Magi dies and he says "That only happens when you're around" gives me the fell that he is actually talking to you
When storm says "the spirit moves me" he means the spirit of the storm whicb is basically what he represents. And when aa says "the spirit moves me" he means the spirit of kaldr cz aa is the image of kaldr
@@bichoestranhocomcaudas6543 ı think it can be addressed to other head
I sacrificed my puberty for this game
was it worth it?
YTIsTakingOverMyLife hah I'd do it all over again
it worth lol
Catfish Jon
Trump Lizard you just got your 666th likes from me
Finally we know , and you right the 4th spirit is "purple spirit"
Void spirit
So Yellow is the planet. but wait..... Yellow everybody this is purge. OMFG IT'S REAL IT'S REAL
you should go more up
The third ancient
XD You sir just made my day
i dont understand?
I hope Purge sees this!
So Dota 3 will be the war against 3 ancients, blue red and green? Im down for that...
WoozWoozie valve cant count to 3. thats why we got dota 2 update 7. we completely missed other updates on top of that
they'll probably do something like they did on TF2 where they introduced a 3rd faction in Mann vs Machine tho in this case they'll probably not do a a co-op with radiant and dire
Red green and purple check gabe's page
yeah and the ancients has 5 brain cell each
Understanding dota lore is crutial! After watching this video I gained +1k mmr!
i lost 1kmmr, because i can't deal all this mindblowing fucks and stop playing Agillity and green heroes.
Damn 1k in less than a day?
Slacks should make lore videos on Pvgna to raise mmr.
I can finally have 1 k mmr. i am 12 btw lul
Here rewatching. It's been a few years Jake. Bless us with some new Loregasm in 2023 pls
17:40 lmao he fades perfectly into the tower, that part was so good

Now he does not gain Intelligence
I like this explanation more
I remember hearing that Elder Titan was the one that may have broke the moon, but its ok to not include him. No one ever remembers Elder Titan :(
205teddy :'(
205teddy i just remembered that hero exists
HAHA this is so sad and true
205teddy and that what made him weaker, it's like a punishment from god because letting diruuth and radirulth (or whatever) free. Before that happen he is actually OP af, he even made and shaped the earth and other planet
But... I like Elder Titan... :(
Please do videos like this again. This was well explained, coherent, and just generally a joy to listen to. Hope to see more.
this was surprisingly interesting
YOU WERE RIGHT SLACKS, 4TH SPIRIT PogU
Amazing Video. Slacks has done it again XD
You didn't even have time to watch the full video yet, what do you mean "Amazing Video"?
Pedro Duarte The starting voice. Thats all I needed man :D
Slacks this was awesome! Please make more of these! I will forever be a fan of yours.
I'll be honest, this theory was incredible. Keep it up, can't wait for more!
I agree. Completely.
After having watched the Lorgasm for ES Arcana, wonder if anyone had the same thought that Outworld Devourer might be the Pittlord of the sister earth?
Food for though
No it's not, Pitlord born from the underworld. Just like at the end of the video, 19:05
what if in the sister earth, their version of Pittlord (the guardian of the underworld) was the survivor of their world's destruction and became what we now as outworld devourer on this earth? doesn't that sound plausible? :D
Na not really
Charlie Limchareon I can see it. They look alike. I don't see any of that not making sense.
when you smoke too much of the giggle lettuce and you create a third ancient
Doom's lettuce
tango is weed confirmed
The Anime took this concept to heart.
as they fucking should
this is actually really good, but i feel like purple is more the uknown about specifically time and space, like different dimensions and black holes, and time like faceless.
I did too but you see that most the invis heros have purple so i fit it in there as well, especially TA
SirActionSlacks i cant believe you actually responded!!! You are my idol!!! also i live in Colorado. Also i see what you mean with riki and ta. Maybe invisibility is a dimension.

Anyway, is(or was) zet the strongest hero in dota universe?
Where can i read about this
@@이준영어머니 he is
Slacks got his hands on some of those dank stuff.
I've always found Dota 2 lore the most interesting and you sir did it a great service. Good work.
Yeah! as well as rubick, the ability to steal magic is in its own way a nether property.
JacksonJin how about the arcane power? is that relate to the arcana
what about point booster?its purple but gives mana and health? is it from the unknown?
I might adopt it as an alternative headcanon (by the way you misspelled headcanon))
I like the idea of radiant represents intelligence and enslavement while dire represents strength and destruction. I'd love to see more of your theory, and I have to say, your theory regarding colours and guardians is very interesting.
very interesting slacks, lol i can see ur time wth purge paid of... i want a 20 min video on tangoes
Tangoes are green and eat trees. Tangoes are the third ancient.
Also mangoes are known to be icefrog's favourite fruit, and consuming them gives mana, therefore a consumable that gives HP = tango = tree mango
I believe tangos and mangos have been at war since the dawn of time.
The halo music is bringing back the feels
Natalie Hulme good old times
Reminds me of when I was 4 playing halo combat evolved
18:15 Actually, every 7 points in agility gives 1 armour, so it isn't only to kill. Great video though
you mean 7 distruction points gives you small resistance agains other's distruction power?
maybe its this dire stone actually corrupting you and "defending you" in some way
Adam Riaz he did say the nether are gaining resistance againts the ancients
Damn your videos has given me a renewed sense of appreciation for dota 2.
SLACKS YOU ABSOLUTE GOD AMONG MEN! Please Make more asap.
I read that as "Absolute dog among men" haha.
pls pls do more its something that would help me pass the time listening about the Dota lore when im at work
Pugna has this voice lone: "All sorceries have their source in the Nether Reaches." Quite telling....
Fun fact because void and nullify are the same
And rubick, pugna and aghanim's power are meant to negate or to erase or steal
And on real life color meaning
Green and purple go in perfect harmony
"My eyes have been opened to new possibilities." -Oracle
thats why we the player needs to end the war between the dire and radiant to stop the never ending war.
Really gotta respect the effort put into this series. Expected snored and bores: Instead, was thoroughly entertained from start to finish from the dedication to engage the viewer. Really enjoy this series!
Dear Slacks, some criticisms for you:
1) Video is very long.
1) i thought it would be funny to have a super long lore video, the next ones will be bite sized
2) thanks will do
3)agility in essence is ability to kill. there are no other redeeming factors, its just evil and violent. thats why its born of the third anchient
4) yeah but it was already long already right? lol
5) THANKS A LOT!
3) And doesnt that mean that agillity is just "The Self" itself? Like mish-mash of Dire and Radiant. Just pure the Self or just hybrid between Dire and Radiant (sorry for english :P )
i like long lore vids :/
I really enjoyed this
I just had a few questions that would be awesome if you talked about if you ever do more of this.
I always hear about how ck wisp kotl and enigma are the 4 fundamental forces but ive never understood how they tie into the lore
Rubick is green and i dont understand why but it might be something interesting to talk about
Also I think death prophet, earth spirit, wraith king, and undying fit nicely into your description of green ppl
Spectre is hella purple but idk what she has to do with the unknown maybe i just dont see it
I think theres probably an interesting way that elder titan ties into this lore since he made the planet and stuff, that would be cool to hear about
I also find it interesting how divine rapier is just gold, not much blue or red for infused power yet it is one of the strongest items
Seriously, this is awesome. Fell out of watching your videos a while ago, but you've got me back. Can't wait to see more!
holy balloon animals this video is actually amazing. thankyou so much for making this. your gifts to the dota 2 community are limitless.
As a doctor I loved your neuro-anatomy relationship of the radiant and dire!! Especially arc warden as the corpus callosum!!
holy crap that's the best video ever
You truly are a blessing to this community. Make more of these please!
does this mean techies is the harbinger of destruction because he can use bombs to weaken the landscape.......... nah
+Nazeem
he just uses the human stuff (bombs and you name it)
the theme of colors still carries on into techies various mines. blue for the stun trap - kinda magical. red for the mines that do PHYSICAL damage and green for the ones that just plain kill you.
Gursha88
Very true
Except now all his bombs do magical damage heh
But would techies be able to blow up the cloud district? What am I saying, of course he wouldn't, he's not important enough.
what a strong start to such an amazing series
Pog fucking Champ, Slacks! Well done, Sir!
0:13 that random warlock passing by made me crack up😂
This was so awesome, Can't wait for more! #NameTheDotaPlanetRoo
This is awesome Slacks! More please 😀
who's binging this before the new The New Frontiers loregasm?
YOOOOOO compadre
@@rhyzhyn mah man!
So gold: divine, radiance, pipe, crimson guard, mkb, bkb
(Arguably the strongest items ingame)
Represents humanity's (the planet's) desire to get rid of either of the ancients once and for all. Like an immune system finally getting rid of the cancer. (the ancients)
SPECTRE IS PA
Phsc Z thats wc3 lore. besides, mercurial was pa's vengeful spectre
wew
I like how all of the replies were just massacred by the next video 😂
Haha those disagreeing in the comment...slacks did a video on it...how about it now
Update on this comment section? Hahahahahahahaha
This was awesome Slacks, really awesome. Loved Sunsfan's intro too.
Thanks VaatiVidya
Dota Souls: Prepare to Defend edition
2018: "Harbinger seeks a swift end to the trifling struggle between Radiant and Dire not for the sake of power, but from a sense at the edge of his consciousness that the war of the Ancients itself might serve as catalyst for the arrival of another, darker force."
If things that reveal the unknown are purple Slacks, then why are sentries blue??
Checkmate.
Because blue represents wisdom and knowledge, which sentries provide. They let you know there whether there are or no enemies around. xD
Another Question: Why are techies mines both red and green? Why is the historically weaker mine the color of strength?
Because by Slacks' knowledge, green is the Nether, which results from a combining of Radiant, Dire and the Earth (aka Roo). Therefore, the Nether is stronger than any one of its component elements.
red ones deal physical damage. the blue ones stun - stop your mind, and the green ones just kill you.
Gursha88 the red ones deal magical now though
Slacks, honestly, I was kind of skeptical, but you blew me away. Well done.
@SirActionSlacks i hope dota 2 brings in a Event, having to do with the Nether Ancient and the the Purple "ascended heroes" c:
At first I thought that DoTA is just a game. You know, just a bunch of random characters (heroes) having awesome looks and skills. Hero Biography wich was a product of a child's imagination. Some irrelevant items, that was designed during coffee breaks. But after watching this video, it all makes sense now. Damn! DoTA has a deep story behind. This changed how I see this game. Hope that they create a movie or a series for this.
Awesome video btw. 👍👍
where's the story for fundamentals (ck, kotl, io, enigma) and elder titan? 😮please do both of them in the next one 😊
Imam Kharomain
what?
Absolutely fantastic. Great work, Man!! ... and congrats on 108k+ subs on RUclips!
very high quality shit
17:46 "he looks like a tower" when u are too desperate to connect the dots lololol. anyways love this loregasm series, thought TZJinzo was the only one lol
Question: Didn't Elder Titan crack the Mad Moon, not the Ancients themselves?
I loved the video and I hope you do more!!!
You showing true colors finally. The jolly man finishes off in style. Applaud!
This sounds like Dota2Scientology!
That was incredibly detailed and well made, while it retained the classic silly humor of Slacks!
GOOD JOB MAN!
I appeared on minute 1:35
you getting paid for it?
heroes gods and everything in between; proceeds to show a picture of techies. I knew it.
Where does oracle fit into all of this? He has my favorite lore!
Brandon B maybe he just sit and watch everything burn
g bro
maybe Oracle was the commentator of the war xD
ruclips.net/video/jzhxtdHNAyM/видео.html i fucking hate oracle after watching this
Brandon B oracle is the ultimate douchebag tho
im watching dota dragons blood right now and sir action slack pinpoint the whoke dire and radiant stones. literally. oracle explaining everything right now
how do all the hell people fit into this? terrorblade is blue as opposed to red like all the other hell dudes. what does that mean?
Also his Arcana makes him red. What is the reason of this change? He was with dire anyway, so he couldn't just turn red from it's influence
Nikhil Reji Thomas Lion is just a human who butchered a demon honestly
Terror blade refuses to stay in hell and escaped after doom imprisoned him into it by braking the hell commands ,he is more likely chaos knight want destruction to every realm the dire and radiant.
I'm rewatching loregasm videos again while waiting for the new one. Can't wait for your analysis on the WR arcana😂 Goodluck slacks!
but where iz snek?
I hope slacks makes a new one soon. His revelations are amazing. Easily my favourite lore explanations. and he isn't afraid to say when he is just speculating. and even then his speculations are incontestable.
underlord has 4 hands though
Juan Felipe i have 3 dicks
Holy crap this is REALLY deep. This is awesome, keep it up.
Where does invoker fit into all this ???
White
jotrm he was born before the came of the ancients, all he knows and can do comes from his own wit, he has a bit of yellow since it's a product of the planet, but is mostly white: his powers are not from ancients and not even the planet, are from himself, he learnt and created spells without any tool, he had no external influence, he's white because untouched by colour, he's pure
white priviledge
slacks forgot about Rubick.... Ahhhh FeelsBadMan
FoeReaper 4000
rubick from nether, the thief of abilities
One of your best videos yet slack
CAN YOU MAKE THE MORE ABOUT ROSHAN?
Roshan was just a theif who stole from the guy who sells you stuff
Then the Gods punished him
Roshan was also the name of Eul's (former Dota 1 dev) bowling ball. No, I am not shitting you.
@@DirtyCasual36 fuckin boomer naming his bowling ball lmao. Not just playing bowling, also naming ur fuckin ball
i will take away all your caps and shift buttons and say fk u to your face
Wow I finally found more content and back story for DOTA, Thank you.
Slacks, What about the Gem of True sight? It reveals the unknown, but its green with a grey rock exterior (not black like dire ore). If green is all about the murder, then what's the story with the gem?
Edit: Corrected misspelling.
to murder the unknown prossibly
holy shit.
The gem of true sight. The truth is that planet is dying to slowly release the green within. Therefore green! The unknown becomes known the mystery of the unknown is plain to see.
That was so cool! Legit thought it was gonna be another one of your trolling vids but was happily surprised. I'm so glad there's going to be more
this videos it is just amazing!!
LC -Zero agreed
This actually taught me so much about dota, and i'm very glad of it. coz sometimes it's always better to dive deep into the game and understand it fully rather than just scratching the surface, just playing the game. Amazing theory Slacks! and im looking forward for more! :)
19:06
What about the other green heroes? Like Veno, Wk, Necro, TH....etc etc
i think the theory works for them as well, veno is from a island we dont know much about which might be high in nether vents, wk could channel the neather to gve him his ghostly wraith powers, and necro could have some kinda nether bacteria or sickness!
And since i cant think of a reason for Tidehunter to be green i'm going to pretend just for the giggles that Tidehunter is green because he eats sewage from the deepest darkest depths of the ocean and it made him sick.... yes i think that will do
tidehunter is green and can call tentacles from the ground literally using the planet powers
Mykhailo Revenok tide's lore says the tentacles are from his own deep water god. who got injured heavily by kunkka
Absolutely amazing analysis done by none other SirActionSlacks!
but wait, what happend to centaur? whos gardian is he?
Daan de Groot well no doubt he protects with his ult. and i think either by default or with aghs he gives his allies reflect dmg. he also sacrifices his hp to deal dmg 1:1. and dont forget his stun! sorry if this doesnt answer your question lol.
He's no guardian, hes just a centaur
This is great, brother. Keep up the good work. Sad to hear about your dad and the pokemon snap paper. I feel your pain.
HOLY SHIT
i fucking love these more than i thought i would. So lucky that your rubick one was in my recommended
Whos watching this after watching Planetfall LOREGASM
God dammit that was really interesting stuff. No idea if it makes sense or not, but it was really interesting to listen to. Great work, Slacks, and i hope we'll see more of this soon-ish!
