i feel so lucky to have witnessed Alliance vs Navi Finals Live .
it broke my heart to pieces though.
Agreed definitely the best one so far
ive never played dota 2 but watching that live was prob the best thing ive ever seen in esports
Same, it was such a classic finale
Grats
Saying Na'Vi is overrated haven't lived in the first 3 years of DotA 2. Na'Vi is considered to be a God tier in those times, winning StarSeries and many LAN tournaments one after the other. Not to mention 3 straight TI Finals appearances. Even the days of DotA 1, Na'Vi has been stomping on teams that it's not even comparable. They are like the Chicago Bulls of the MJ era. You can say how they have fallen these days but it doesn't erase the fact what Na'Vi had done in the DotA 2 pro scene. No team comes close.
So true! +1
give this man a cookie
More like the Utah Jazz
True, look at all these disrespectful pricks out here, calling Puppey and Dendi noobs.
you sir just gained my respect. commended
the real legends are those casters. making it more historic
the casters really brings the vibes tho haha
Hell yeah
Completely different power and vibe from the casters then and now
I miss when both dota and league casters where so hyped they screamed in the mic like this at moments
I really miss Dendi being the root of the game
The Face of DOTA
Hes back B8 need work though still

I play LoL for 5 years. I havent seen any moments as hyped and explosive like those.
i play LoL sometimes as well (not a bad game) and i watch LoL worlds, but trust me dota esport is just the next level the hype is crazy people go wild like you never see it before, it happend multiple times that i jump of my chair scream like crazy and cant believe whats happening
manila major crowd best crowd in dota history.
lol u pinoy
Teo Aris the sad reality is in LoL Diz kind of combos doesn't exist
BurningFlameZ MCPE they exist but pro teams dont focus on combos. they focus on abusing broken picks and outnumbering in skirmishes.
I.have no idea what the fuck is happening, but i'm hyped up
welcome to the wonderfull world of dota esport :)
Rob McCallister good to see you again my friend
Happened to me once all both teams were fighting at the same place and i was attacking randomly pressing any button i remember i died i was who do i attack all of them r in front of me
fire balls don't play dota
nah gonna play until i am bored of it
I'm not a hardcore dota player, but I was there during the Ti3 final game. Sweated my ass off watching that match, one of the best esport matches of any game ever
Not a hardcore but he was there at TI3 🤔
DENDI for me will always be the best player of Dota 2. He makes mistakes, but never fails to surprise us with how he quickly learns from it just like in TI1. How his mind creates new strategies of the bat like how he created the FOUNTAIN HOOKS. And his overall love for the game, will forever be etched in my heart. When I have kids, I will show them the person that I admire the most in the gaming industry.
The fact that NaVi got 4 entries in the list speaks volumes
Was the best team in the world for years, that speaks volumes for sure!

TI 3 Grand final is still the best story of Esport

dream coils were so fucking clutchhh

oh the goosebumps
Oh boy everyone time i see TI3 finals all the emotions come back to me, ill never forget watching that live, best moments of my life. Even though i was a huge NaVi fan, you just couldn't deny how well Alliance played, for me it's the best TI finals we'll ever see.
I remember that final TI3 match like it was yesterday. I've never been so into a "sport" like I was in watching that match. This was 16 minutes? Went by in about 10 seconds. Loved watching this.
Na"Vi will be in my heart forever...
ivan avdeev funn1k,puppey,Dendi,xboct,kuroky is da best navi squad for me. Just wished they could play back as a team again like the good old days T_T....
Agree
Yeah no team can ever replace them for me.
yeah man, there is something special about the old na'vi squad, dunno what, they were just bringing emotions to the game ....
Chap yeah, it really was the height of that squad, so much character, unorthodox style, and every game was just a treat to watcb. Not to mention the emergent rivalry with alliance that lasted thru Ti4
I miss the old navis dominance
exactly
you mean the old navi glitch abuse?
ファヒム M_ ????
ファヒム M_ this "abuse" you're saying is not easy too pull off you need to have excellent timing too pull that off
gyutyphoon lemme guess. OG fangay?
I feel so nostalgic, I want to relive these moments and feel the same emotion that I feel years back when I watched it live, makes me feel like playing the game again. Also, Na'Vi was so good back then.
Dude... The chills. They're constant.
I'm having a chills overload.
14:30, Dendi's fingers...
He's a piano player. Go figure.
girls like dendi for a reason u know :)
I see what you mean
Poor keyboard :( rip
LOL, so glad you pointed that out! He has mad fast-twitch fingers of doom!
i dont play Dota2 anymore but fuck I remember so many of these older clips when i'd watch it live. the dream coils, the aegis denies, dendi's fountain hooks..ugh
Same
Hey kandy I cant wait untill s8 is over i want worlds edge so bad its not even funny any more
Kandy I didn’t know you played dota!
i dont even remember watching this video, nor leaving this comment. this is super weird seeing this here haha. but yes, dota2 is honestly the only esport i enjoy watching
I’ve mostly played fps games and saw mobas as sweaty and stupid, but recently I got into dota and I’m hooked. Love your apex videos man 💛
Watching this at 2021. I'm literally tearing up bro I'm so proud that I got to see all these moments live
14:29 look at Dendy hand
idk man, doesnt look like his hand are making something really incredible on the game, i mean, it was'nt invoker or another hero who needs that amount of fingers
@@TheTaeros he was using Rubick tho.
Yukihira Souma i’m pretty sure it was him spamming his keybind for force staff and clicking on the icon because he seems to mouth “FUCK YOU, FORCE STAFF” to the ravage as he just slips out of it.

I've been playing DotA since I was a wee lad.. way back in the old days. I remember I first started playing when I was 10 years old. I'm 21 now and I just cannot believe a video game has had such a huge influence on my life like none other has. I've followed the competitive scene the entire time, and seen so many teams and players rise and fall. I must say my favorite moment ever witnessing in real time was the Na'Vi vs IG play turnaround smoke gank. I remember spazzing out so hard after Na'Vi team wiped IG it was insane. 5 years ago man when I watch it it seems so fresh in my memory.
childofbhaal I remember screaming those reaction times for the whole day after seeing LOH bkb after what looked like a split second window and using black hole at the same time, it was insane
I don't understand the DotA hype.. cs is where it's at
Praeygon Then Go Watch CS
Xan In just trying to understand why people find mobas entertaining, both to play and watch
Xan In like I'd even rather watch a fighting Game.. just trying to understand the moba appeal
Bulba jumping up and running to the crowd after they won ALWAYS gives me chills. SO awesome to see the pro's so stoked and so hype. Thats my fav all time memory.
I regret not knowing the existence of this game sooner. I miss a lot of good stuff
@RaiN
It will be there for at least upcoming 10 years I predict :). I will never stop playing this game, and I have a feeling I'm not the only one.
same here bud :(
I appreciate watching these every couple months just to truly appreciate how much this game has changed and grown.

LoL is making money.
DOTA is making history.
+YT TherealMoskva lol what he literary favors dota over LoL. looks how much persons who play lol
shodai kitetsu the prize pools are bigger in Dota though, still.
shodai kitetsu lol fuck off just kids plays lol, lol got very shit graphic worse gameplay i still dont know why is any1 playing it
"worse gameplay" depends on which champion your talking about. Ashe or Master Yi? Too simple. Zed, Yasuo, or Riven? EPIC PLAY MAKERS
And "shit graphics" really means "Great, my potato can run it."
GodUd6589 both of these games r stupid as fuck
Such an amazing video....makes me miss Old School Navi, this is Dota.
The Play is the legit best thing i have ever seen in my life.
Basically, if it wasn't for NaVi The Internationals would have been boring.
yes like right now their play its just to safe not the risk taker as navi
yup old navi team is legend
Kevin Bosco eh navi isnt the tier one team they used to be. The way they used to play doesnt work now.
TI 8
ryan dirks It works, it just requires a lot more skill and that is why it is much more risky.
8:33 its a disastah
gets me every time
And that is not the first time that phrase has been used, nor the most iconic. It's a shame the TI 2 TongFu - Navi fight in the rosh pit wasn't featured, though I understand the need to not just make this about Na'Vi exclusively :D
When they remake this I'm sure we'll see "CEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEB"
that gold that s4 puck dreamcoil, that dendi's express, that clasico's and so much gold memories that never come back
Holy shit.
I don’t play DOTA, but this video gives me chills.
The Play is just amazing
Dinj Valric Bertuso how would you understand the play when you don't even play dota, so dumb :/
You can still understand it if you play moba
mobas been around forever!, not everyone plays dota2, Ive met more League players IRL than dota2 players, like... 10to1.
Welcome to dota
The echo slam was fcking amazing
Was there for TI2 and TI3. Some of the best experiences I've had in my life.
Loved this video. Great work.
Also, def agreed that The Play is best served up last in the video.
I dont play dota 2 for 3 years now but i watch every major and ti since the first one. Dota as an esport is the best things ever happend to video games. Thank you for existing DOTA!
2019 and still having goosebumps. Thank you for all the memories and to all the legends who started it, especially Dendi..
14:22 So this is where that "patience from Zhou" of TI 7 compendium comes from.
Definitely this video is a treasure..You have collected all the exact plays in a perfect order.. Nice Narration.. This video brings goosebumps to every Dota lovers who knows and plays the game from the nice old days....
Gamez Tech thank you so much! We put a lot of effort into this series, so community feedback is really appreciated.
Seeing all these moments and remembering when I saw them brings a tear to my eye. I. Love. DotA.
First played dota over 5 years ago, I can still vividly remember my first match which was a 5 v 5 lobby with my friends.
Watching the 2013 roshan set up and navi plays brings back memories. Good times indeed
5:07 OMG his hand was like Don't let me down LOL
I really miss Dendi being the root of the game
The Face of DOTA
"IT'S A DISAAAAAAAASTER" that's the iconic moment
Yep.....ITS A DISASTER!!! As a gamer.... spreading awareness is love.and best of luck. Do feel free to check out similar posts on my channel. Peace.
This fountain hook and universe's echo always gives me chills ❤️
4 years after this video was uploaded, we witness history being written with OG's back to back ti wins
"TI4 had the greatest grand finals of all time in the history of TI"
said no one ever
gago lol
2013 was a great year for Dota. Navi vs Alliance was an amazing rivalry. I would watch every match they played agaisnt each other.
Hlo bro pls replay
I need your helpp
Quarantine make me come back to Dota. I remember I watched all this livez when S4 canceled 2 tps was insane, Dendi Pudge combined with Puppey insane, such memories.
So nostalgic, seen the first TI till TI 5 as a casual player..Never Played Dota 2 again since then..But Seeing the e-sports scene become massive nowadays
Those 1st generations pro player really paved the way to todays pro player and make the game itself even more bigger than ever, you cant imagine today prize pool and dota scene right now from 10 years ago.Gabe Newell good at creating heroes and those heroes like na’vi,eg,alliance ect, shape e-sports as a whole
If you know anything about Dota 2, you have to agree the most iconic, spectacular and unbelievable game was the one with NaVi's Fountain Hooks. Such insane tactic and thinking out of the box, which was the only way for them to win. I get goosebumps watching this even today..
8:27 This scene makes me hype 👌👏👏👏
I feel so lucky to witness these iconic moments back then.
DUDE... the nostalgia with all the moments in t1, t2, t3 :')
I remember i had a classmate back in highschool who never play dota caught him watching the International 1 on his blackberry phone, this explains they hype back then.
4:56 the nerdgasm tho
rofl
He's living the best of it HAHAHA is that a life?
Those fountain hooks still give me the goosebumps!
There should be an updated video of this! So hype for TI10
this video needs a part 2 with the alliance comeback and tnc knocking OG out
That fountain hook is the sign of Dendi.
5:07 OMG his hand was like Don't let me down LOL
As someone who's played both LoL and Dota, I have to agree that these are some truly iconic moments.
Happy to be one of the ones who lived ti3 live !!! First 3 years of dota was the best and NA`VI where the most spectacular team !
Na`vi and Alliance
The oldest dogs, the two biggest rivals
The legendary players,it still gives me chills everytime looking at them
The charisma,the enthusiasm,the hype
I love them all ;-;
I actually like how Navi always make use of the "bugs" or anything into their advantage. love it.
Dendi's passion for the game is something else. A true legend
I was watching most of these moments live, the EG comeback and that suma1l arrow when jug ended omnislash, that million dollar echo, and of course el classico.
Big part of my childhood and teenage years, I miss the friends I made through the game.
Interviewer : which hero do u play the best with?
Dendi : yes
if you watch true sight, fear said that at thatgame againts ehome almost everybody want to gg, but Fear said "lets play this till the end"
if fear agree to that gg...
which one?
@@namesbinge3073 Mega creep comeback
i dont play dota and i never really played it but watching these and not understanding whats going on in the gameplay still makes me feel some type of way like damn this shit gives me goosebumps just hearing the casters and the crowd
Epic video, love the breakdown.
That fountain hook should've never been patched, that hook really represents what Dota is. Anything is possible if you're smart enough
ALLIANCE and NAVI rivalry is the best thing that ever happened in Dota 2 history.
still goosebumps every highlight
The play gives me goosebumps all the time😂
I play LoL and I accidentally pressed this video but damn, the hype in this id real.
Ti3 s4 moments was the ti grand finals ive ever seen. The most intense grand finals ever unlike the other grand finals that end in 15-20 minutes, so ez and unwatchable.
[A]nikin m
That was my favorite TI it defines dota as defense of the ancient and not battle of champuons
Dendi's Rubick play tho.. 👏👏 I love this man!!
I like how you editing this one and cool video man :]
"Patience from zhou" "Its a disaster" "There's a hook" "The million Dream Coil". Should this moments be in the history books.
Ceeeeeeeb
u need to pause every single moment when comes to "The Play"
Dendi is legend...
without that guy... the TI tournament will not be festive...
damn... i still remember the crowded audience while dendi doing the tower hook...
Thanks. This video reminds me so much of memories.
You don't see this kind of epic plays and hype moments in LoL Worlds or other Esports. Thank god Valve created Dota 2
The reason why I want NaVi to be back. We need dendi back to produce more legend!!
#GoNaVi #ForeverNaviFanBoy
GAY ?
+Extreme Dota you're gay?
I still get chills every time I hear "patience from Zhou"
5 years later and im still trying to find the song used during the million dollar dream coil play. so epic.
What whas the music used for the 6 million dollar echo?
That was lit af.
The golden old days.
The casters stack so well with the plays
Navi-Alliance final game is the most epic final EVER in Dota history. Its what made me started playing the game.

Mine is DENDI for sure...

This video was made a year before the most memorable moment ever in TI history: OG winning
Since I miss TI. I still remember that EG comeback. That was like the most Iconic TI COMEBACK EVER
