Tea Time Talk| What is a Functional Tic Disorder?

Hi everyone,
I have decided to share my experiences for the last few years with Functional Tics Disorder (FTD) from when it started, to being diagnosed and my current journey to recovery and learning more about it. My close friends and family had not heard of this disorder and were struggling to understand what I’ve been going through so I decided to talk about it and try to explain it all once and hopefully it’ll give them, and others who may be curious about Functional Neurological Disorders, some information to understand.
Part one of this talk, I have my mum help me explain the fundamentals of FTD. Some of this information is a given for others, but some do not know some things. I did not want to make assumptions about what people may know or don’t know, so just went through the basic fundamentals from my own experiences and the information I have been given by my neurologist and research I’ve done myself.
